Kuhn

Soulmate Up10tion

A/N: Since it’s December I decided that I will be making holiday themed posts. Soulmate Kuhn is the official kick off for my themed posts this month. Side note: I usually write these where the boys give you something once you find each other, but this time I changed it. I hope you all enjoy

- From the second you were born you grew a flower from behind your left ear

 - Each day you would have a new flower, and at the end of each day you would have to cut it off

 - Initially, your parents had to be very careful with the flowers

 - If you happened to sprout a rose from behind your ear as an infant, well, they would have to cut it off as soon as they spot it so it didn’t hurt you

 - As you got older your parents began to teach you how to cut it off yourself

 - The steps for this are as follows: tie hair back so you don’t cut it off, locate where the stem is and gently pull it far enough away from your ear so you can make a cut, once you’ve done this cut off the flower

 - At first this process didn’t go too well for you (you accidentally cut off a good chunk of your hair the first day of middle school)

 - Yeah, that day was a mess in general and the next day you asked for help to cut the flower instead of just going for it

 - Slowly you got the hang of it and eventually you were able to do this without having to look in a mirror

 - Throughout your schooling you found people who had flowers and people who didn’t

 - This never discouraged you though, seeing as how everyone finds their soulmate and all it takes is time

 - During high school there was no relationship drama and the only thing students had to worry about was getting a good grade and being a good friend

 - Which is very different from our reality where people get into freaking fist fights over each other and most of the time we all end up in heartbreak with nothing left to our names

 - Occasionally there would be those people in school who wanted to be loved so early on, even though their soulmate was on their way in the long run, and they just couldn’t wait for it

 - A few girls in your grade ended up getting in trouble but also losing their flowers because they tried to speed up the process

 - This is the one downside to finding your soulmate through flowers: you cannot push the time frame

 - Flowers are delicate and need to be cared for so they don’t die, it’s the same way with people and their soulmates

 - If you push too hard you will kill your chances of finding them and without a flower it means you are forever left alone

 - Since you saw the impacts of this you never tried to hurry up or slow down throughout your life

 - For the most part high school was easy, minus the homework and teachers

 - When college came about you had grown up with unshakeable confidence in yourself and who you are

 - You had many friends, kept up with school work, treated yourself right

 - At the time you had no idea but this would be the period in which you meet your soulmate

 - Most days you would go to class, do homework, spend time with friends, and not pay attention to the days counting down

 - December 24th, is the date that you were set to meet him, your parents knew but because of what happened in high school they agreed that it was better if you didn’t know

 - Today is December 24rd, you had gone home for the break already and were making some last minute trips to presents

 - The flower in your hair for the day is a white rose, the last one in your cycle of flowers that sprout from your head

 - As per usual you wear a sweater tunic, an infinity scarf, blue skinny jeans, and knee high boots

 - While walking around the store you see a group of about nine boys looking for what appears to be someone they’re missing

 - Not an uncommon thing really, stores are somewhat easy to get lost in, especially with a big group

 - Fifteen minutes later you spot the same group of boys again but still having no luck in finding their friend

 - The weird thing about this situation is that they’ve been following you around for the last fifteen minutes…

 - They weren’t bothering you, not really, so you didn’t think it was necessary to tell them to leave you alone

 - Having them around you did distract you for a bit and as you rounded a corner you ran smack into the chest of a very tall person who let out a low grunt of pain

 - You apologize profusely before the stranger stops you to make sure they didn’t cause you any pain

 - The instant you stop talking, and actually lay an eye on the stranger, you can’t help but feel a sense of clarity and joy

 - A guy with relish orange hair stood in front of you, his facial expression was that of concern but you couldn’t be bothered to notice

 - The height difference alone was enough to make you horrible aware of how short you are

 - His lips moved but you heard no sound coming from them because this complete and total stranger had you under some kind of trance just by watching his lips

 - It took a minute or two before you could properly hear him and when you did his voice was as deep as an earthquake, it shook you from the very core of your being as you stood in front of him

 - “Hey, are you alright? You haven’t been saying anything and that worries me a lot…”

 - “Uh…y-yeah… I’m alright”

 - You have such a way of talking to men… just kidding

 - You take in his whole being, every detail in his face to the height of his figure

 - It’s all very charming really, even the suit that he’s wearing which really makes no sense but you can’t change that

 - Only then, when you eyes pass over his chest back up to his face, did you notice the flower sticking out of his pocket: a white rose

 - He noticed your rose as well, gently tucking a strand of loose hair behind your ear

 - His hand was practically the size of your face but something about having it hold your cheek made you feel at home and safe

 - “I uh, I’m Kuhn by the way”

 - “I’m Y/N, it’s very nice to meet you”

 - Kuhn examined your face once again before his eyes focused on the rose behind your ear

 - “May I?” (not a very hard thing to figure out)

 - You nodded your head slowly, preparing for the possible pain that could shoot through your body if he wasn’t your soulmate

 - Pushing your hair out of the way, he took hold of the stem and pulled it gently

 - The feeling was strange to you, having something pulled out of your body, but it didn’t hurt

 - Before you knew it your eyes were open and Kuhn held the rose in his hand as he smiled down at you

 - “You can pull mine out too, I don’t bite”

 - His smile grew wider while he watched the blush form from deep within your cheeks

 - Once you plucked the rose from his body the nine other boys you’d seen before were surrounding Kuhn and cheering for him

 - Some of the boys still had their flowers while others didn’t, but regardless it was you and Kuhn who got to celebrate and have attention

 - As they caused a commotion within the store, Kuhn leaned in and whispered in your ear

 - “It’s Christmas Eve and I ‘hate’ to point this out but, look up”

 - There, right above you both (being held up by one of his friends) was mistletoe with a white ribbon around it

 - “If it’s alright, I would like very much to kiss you”

 - Of course you didn’t deny him; he is your soulmate after all
