“Your soulmate is literally drop dead gorgeous, Seul,” Sooyoung whispers into her ear when Joohyun finally leaves her side to order her own drink. The older woman had guided Seulgi into her chair with a gentle hand on the small of her back, and Seulgi could still feel the imprint of Joohyun’s palm radiating over her skin. Fixing the problem of having too many people at the same, tiny booth, Joohyun had quickly pulled up a table next to the booth for her and Seulgi to share. The younger woman had hardly moved a muscle after she’d sat down, still in a state of shock that Joohyun was her soulmate.

In fact, younger woman tuned out everything else after the Joohyun introduced herself to Sooyoung, transfixed with the millions of thoughts racing through her head. “I wonder if she’s a model or an actress?” Sooyoung continued on thoughtfully, scratching her chin. The architecture major remained stoic even as Sooyoung nudged her, prodding her best friend for an answer. She can only silently watch Joohyun as she generously repays for the three spilt coffees, bowing to the cashier with a wide smile on her face. “Don’t worry about the drinks,” Joohyun had murmured into her ear as she pulled Seulgi’s chair out for her. Seulgi felt electricity shoot up her spine at the action, and she wonders when she’ll be able to stop blushing. “It was my fault,” Joohyun continued, “I’ll pay for it.”

Already was she so impressed with her soulmate, from the maturity she showed to the drop dead gorgeous grace that hung about her figure as she moved, there was no doubt about it whatsoever. Seulgi was absolutely smitten by Joohyun. They hadn’t even spoken to each other during their encounter on the first floor, yet Seulgi had known she’d been taken with the woman. An easy calm washed over her at the sight of Joohyun, who was bowing once again towards the cashier, and it made Seulgi more than certain that she was to spend the rest of her life with this woman. She was beyond thankful that her friends had dragged her out of the apartment on this little excursion. If they hadn’t, would she have ever met Joohyun?
