Hwayoung's POV

"Oh! You're here. I thought you're going to come home tomorrow with that guy." Mark mischievously smirked as he stood up.

"How did you-"

He cut me off, "No need to know how. Does your grandma know about this?" He faced me.

Despite the nervousness that he might tell my grandma, I still put on a cool face with a single eyebrow higher.

I didn't want to be seen as a weak.

At least not in front of him.

"Pardon me for looking around your room. I thought my action won't bother you because this is not the first time at all, right?"

He laughed as he saw my frown.

"Thanks for the trick you put me on yesterday."

He walked towards the opened door before came to an halt, "And one more thing. You look beautiful today." With that last sentence of him, he dissappeared through the closed door.

I was flustered.

And kind of mad at the fact that he went into my room without my permission.

As if I would allow him even if he asked me.

I sat at the edge of my bed spacing out.

Out of the blue, the today's memories floated in my mind, making me blush.

It was a lie if I said I didn't melt of what he had done to me.

I laid on my bed and smile to myself.

"Yah! Hwayoung! Get yourself together. Think back to your main point. Don't get distracted. You won't be long on living. You won't meet him again." I sighed.

I couldn't fall in love.

I might regret it.

And my mind might fight over the destined death.

I just wanted to be happy until fatal fetches me.

No worries either.

But I still wanted to meet him.

Just to say thanks for everything.

I guessed I made him going through a hard day.

I was such a burden.

Or I could just ask Sohee to say it for me.

But a treat could be better.

"Aish! Stop it!" I scolded my mind.

I went into the bathroom and took a fresh bath to get my mind off of him.

Then I heard a soft knob at my bathroom door.

"Who's there?" I asked

"The dinner is ready, miss." The housemaid replied.

"Wait a minute." I dried myself up and wear a robe.

I opened my bathroom door and was greeted by a humble housemaid.

"I don't feel like eating actually."

She bowed and was about to leave but I stopped her.

"Is there still guest downstair?"

"No, miss"

"Okay. Thanks." I thanked her and she walked out of my room.

I wore my pajamas and then went to my bed and called Sohee.

"Hi!" I could hear the excitement in her voice, more than ready to hear my story. "How was your day, ha? Tell me what I want to hear."

"It's just fine. Not bad. How was your day with Jimin?"

"Hey hey hey. Don't change the topic. Just said that you're happy and want to meet him again." She started to tease.

"No! Of course not."

Obviously I denied the truth.

She was making me blush already.

Fortunately she was not seeing this.

"Yah! You can't lie to me. Aiiii... It's okay if you don't want to tell me. I'll ask Jungkook instead. By the way, Jimin and I are doing fine..." she started telling about her and Jimin. It was a relief she was not pushing on me to tell her much.

Listening to her really helped me to fall asleep.

Before we end our conversation she told me that
