Haneul woke up and sat on her bed as the sun was shining on her soft skin as if it was greeting her warmly. She looked outside the window and saw the beautiful little birds singing and dancing in he garden happily. Everything was wonderful and peaceful on her special day. she was so excited.
she went to the bathroom and took a warm shower humming her favorite song happily. While she was making her long brown hair, she heard her phone suddenly rang. She ran over to her phone and picked it up immediately.
"Hello?" she said with her sweet voice.
"Happy Birthday dear~" she heard the voice of her parents sing in the speaker. It's been so long since she had heard their voices for the last time. Three years ago she had moved away to Korea because of her studies and left the behind in America.
"Mom, dad~ aww thank you~" she squealed.
"Happy nineteenth birthday princess. We miss you so much~" she could imagine her mom tearing up while saying those words.
"I miss you too!" she said holding back her tears.
"Have fun on your birthday princess and remember to send us lots of pictures of your party with the u-kiss boys, okay?" her father said to cheer her up.
Haneu's mood immediately brightened as she heard what her dad said.
Ever since she came to Korea and got to know those nine boys her life was cheerful and with lots of surprises. On each and every birthday she had with them they would but her lots of cute small presents and send her many lovely massages.
Even when her school mates were bullying her because she was a foreign they would always help her and stand by her side. She still remembers the first time she met them like it was just some days ago.
The girls from her class were making fun of her as she was walking down to her next class. They thought she didn't understand them as she was still new in Korea but of course she was able to. Haneul's mother was Korean and had showed her how to speak the language ever since she was young.
"Such a ," "look at her cloths," "oh my god! Being so ugly should be a crime!" Haneul listened to all the insults and didn't say anything back.
Finally, when the lunch break began, the bullied girl ran out in the school garden. When she thought she was finally alone, all the tears she had been holding back for the whole time, streamed down on her cheeks. She felt a sharp pain in her heart and couldn't help but cry harder.
Suddenly she felt strong warm hands whiping away her tears softly. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up to see Kevin´s smiling angelic face right in front of hers. He was caressing her face and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Such a beauty should never cry." He whisperd softly in her ear.
Ever since that day she had a crush on Kevin but never dared to tell him the truth.
"Princess? Hey Haneul are you still there?" The girl shook her head hearing her parents voices.
"Oh yeah...." She was blushing hard as she cought herself daydreaming of Kevin once again.
"Well we have to go cutie! Bye bye!" She said good bye to her parents and hung up.
She looked through her massages to see if she had gotten any new massages today but to her disappointetment there was not a single new one. She had wished for the u-kiss oys to sent her a massage or say anything... but they didn't. Every single moment she looked at her phone but there was never anything. The thing that made her sad most, was the fact that HE forgot about it. How could Kevin forget her birthday? She was about to cry when she heard the door bell ring. She sighed and made her way to the door slowly. Before opening the door she took a deap breath and relaxed her body. She peacked out of the door and saw a big teddy bear. Immediately a smile formed around her lips.
"Happy Birthday sweet girl!" The bear said and Haneul knew who it was.
"Thank you Xander-oppa!" She sang cutely. Suddenly Alexander came out from behind the Teddy smilling brightly.
"How can anyone look so dipressed and ugly on his birthday?" The older boy poked her forehead teasingly and walking inside. Haneul pouted slightly knowing that he was only jokeing.
"Anyways, get dressed fast!" He orderd taking seat on her couch.
"Why?" Haneul tilted her head cutely and a slight blush could be seen on Xander´s face.
"I-I´ll take you out today what else? I can´t let you stay alone at home on your birthday, right?" Haneul pouted.
"Meanie~" she mumbled softly before making her way to her bedroom to change her cloths. After a while she came out dressed in comfy cloths. Alexander couldn't help but think that she looked gorgeous.
"Let's go!" Alexander took her hand and led her out of her apartment.
"Where are we going?" Haneul ask as he was dragging her swinging their hands lightly.
"Not saying~" Alexander sang and gave her his known handsomest smile. Haneul puffed her cheeks and looked around trying to figure out where she was.
"OH!! Are we...." She widened her eyes and the boy beside her chuckled.
"Amusement Park!!!" she jumped up and down excitedly squealing.
*Cute* Alexander smiled gently at her.
"Thank you Oppa~" Suddenly Alexander froze as he felt her wrap her arms around him and hug him tightly. He wished and prayed that she didn't notice how fast his heart was beating.
"Let's go play~" Both of them walked inside together and had a lot of fun. They were on many roller-coasters together, played around in water springs and went to the haunted house together. They day couldn't be any more beautiful, Haneul thought.
She was sitting on a bench eating her ice cream when Alexander suddenly got a phone call and jumped up.
"Let's go home!" he took her arm and yanked her up gently.
"Ehh? Why?" She asked disappointed but Alexander didn't answer and made his way to her place.
She opened the door slowly and went in with him following her closely.
Suddenly out of nowhere eight boys jumped in front of her and began to sing happy birthday. It was the rest of U-kiss with a big birthday cake. They had decorated the whole house for her and had brought her many presents. Touched Haneul blew the candles out after the stopped singing and everyone clapped.
"Happy Birthday Haneul~" AJ went over and gave her a tight hug.
"I thought you forgot...." she mumbled.
"How could we?" Dongho smiled cutely.
"It's the most exciting day of the year!" Kiseop smiled brightly. Haneul chuckled softly as she heard him and everyone began to laugh. That's when she noticed Kevin looking at her directly. Her cheeks began to redden and she started to feel shy searching for a place to look at just to avoid his eyes.
"Haneul can I ask you something important?" Haneul frize when she saw him coming closer to her and placing his fingers under her chin making her look at him. She nodded slowly.
"Haneul-ah," he started. "We have known each other for a while now and ever since we met each other for the first time at the school garden I have fallen for you. Every time you smile my heart beats faster and every time you puff you cheeks so cutely I think that I can't breath anymore. I always feel better when I am around you and you always make me smile. There is one question I would like to ask you for a while now...
Would you be my girlfriend?"
The room was silent as everyone was waiting for the answer.
"A-am I dreaming?" she stuttered not believing what he just said. Kevin chuckled at her cute reaction.
"Let me prove that it's not a dream." Kevin said and before anyone could react he had pressed his soft red lips on hers gently. It was Haneul's sweet first kiss and she never regretted giving it to Kevin her first true love and her first boyfriend ever.
