Chapter 4 – Attack

Usually, when Han Seul wake up in the morning, she’d wake up to the deafening sound of her alarm clock, and she’d be the one responsible to turn it off. However, these days she’d usually wake up to her beloved dog snuggling up under her covers. 

Not to mention Donut clawing on her head as it somehow escaped its cage once again.

“Gosh, you two,” she pulled both animals to her chest, hugging them sleepily.

Pretzel was pretty much happy with the hug Han Seul gave it, but Donut wasn’t much of a hugger. With a loud meow, Donut used its paw to push Han Seul’s face away and scooted its way under the covers. Oh, that cat.

“Donut, spit him out right now,” Han Seul pointed at the cornered cat. “Don’t you DARE swallow him, mister,”

The cat narrowed its eyes at its owner.

“Or I’ll have you castrated,”

As if the cat understood what she meant, the cat visibly froze and opened its mouth, letting Minseok the hamster roll out of its mouth, damp from Donut’s saliva. Gosh, that cat—Minseok barely moved after being traumatized from either almost being eaten or Donut’s horrible breath.

“Alright, time for our morning routine,” Han Seul grinned at Pretzel, and the beagle’s excitement seemed to hit the roof as soon as she said that.

Han Seul slipped out of her bed with Pretzel running all over the place and all around her feet in sheer excitement, barking every now and then and even followed her to the bathroom. The dog watched eagerly at its owner as she brushed her teeth and washed her face, the dog running in and out of the bathroom impatiently.
