2nd chapter of my jicheol family fanfic series, hope you all like it ^^

“Boss, Jeju branch just called up they asked for your time they want to discuss something with you” Seungcheol listened to what Seungkwan said through the phone, he knew his secretary was busy enough if he didn’t even bother to tell him directly when his office room is just few steps away from Seungkwan’s table

“Hmmm… but I don’t have time to go to Jeju, I’ll try to arrange a video conference with them” Seungcheol closed his eyes while scrolling through the hectic schedule on his mind

“You have Sunday which is tomorrow to go if you want” Seungkwan suggested

“I’ve been working 7 days a week for the past one month it feels like I’m going to die here” Seungcheol sighed

“and I said, ‘if you want’” Seungkwan rolled his eyes, he himself as a good secretary had sacrificed his weekend stuck in the office with Seungcheol with a big project in front of their eyes everyone was working so hard especially the ceo.

“No thanks, I prefer to work in Seoul for now” Seungcheol hang up the call after answering to few more questions from Seungkwan, he sighed, rubbing his tired face, he turned his chair facing the clear window, watching Seoul, the city he has been living throughout his life wondering what people were doing out there on Saturday morning while he himself stuck in the office working his off. Seungcheol sighed again before he took out his phone and looked at his phone lock screen which was Jihoon and his son’s face smiling. The picture normally brought energy to him but this time it saddened him even more, he missed his family it had been a long time since their last family outing. ‘what are they doing, are they going somewhere today’ those thoughts filled up Seungcheol’s mind, he felt guilty to Jihoon, taking care an over excited 5 years old boy needs a lot of energy, he could imagine how tired Jihoon is now as a ‘single-parent’ as Seungcheol wasn’t around during day time when Jihoon himself had classes to teach. Seungcheol stood up suddenly feeling guilty, family had been always his priority and it would never change. Seungcheol told himself as he took his car key outside

“So which beach are we going?” Jihoon asked when Seungcheol drove away from their home

“Busan” Seungcheol grinned

“I thought daddy is working today?” Samuel asked from his seat behind his parents

“I was, and here I am now, what are you looking for baby?” Seungcheol asked when suddenly Jihoon looking around his coat

“Just in case Seungkwan put a hidden GPS track, I don’t want him to come and kidnap you back to the office, since you’ve decided to go with us today I don’t want any interruption” Jihoon smiled but at the same time put a flight mode on both his phone and Seungcheol’s while Seungcheol laughing beside him

“Samuel wait for me!” Jihoon shouted when he saw the excited 5 years old boy already running to the sand

“He looks so excited, I’m glad” Seungcheol said while helping Jihoon took their bag from the backseat

“Of course he would, he hasn’t been anywhere for the past one month” Jihoon looked at Seungcheol’s tired face and caressed it “And I’m glad you decided to runaway, it’s been so long, you deserve a break”

“it’s not only about me, you do need rest too baby, thank you for taking care of Samuel alone for the past one month” Seungcheol leaned closer and captured Jihoon’s lips with his indulged him in the tasted he had missed

“DADDY APPA FASTER!!!!” both Seungcheol and Jihoon immediately looked around and found Samuel was frowning under the sun which brought laugh to two of them

“He’s sleeping” Jihoon smiled fondly watching Samuel sleeping on Seungcheol’s arm which carried the boy. They both decided to walk through the beach slowly enjoying the afternoon weather, while waiting for the sunset.

“He must be really tired” Seungcheol adjusted Samuel on his arm so he could see Samuel’s face from the side

“If I didn’t drag two of you from the beach after hours of playing he would be sleeping in the water” Jihoon caressed Samuel’s hair gently

“Well we had so much fun didn’t we?” Seungcheol chuckled suddenly remember Jihoon was frowning from the side when Seungcheol and Samuel been playing in the water for hours

“Thank you for today” Jihoon said when they both finally sit down on a bench nearby watching the sunset with Samuel still sleeping on Seungcheol’s lap

“No, it’s me who should say it, I’ve been spending too much time with works, I’ve missed out my priority for the past one month and you should remind me next time” Seungcheol flicked Jihoon’s forehead with his free hand

“You are running towards the goal you’ve been dreaming of since you were young, why should I disturb it, beside I’m ok, Samuel isn’t that hard to manage compare to other 5 years old boy” Jihoon caressed Samuel’s hair again

“I love you” Seungcheol said suddenly

“Blah blah blah, heard that a lot of time” Jihoon chuckled when Seungcheol frowned

“But that doesn’t make it any less true”

“Annddd heard that before” Jihoon laughed when Seungcheol shouted ‘ya’ to him “I’ve said it many times too but yeah, I love you too” Jihoon smiled when Seungcheol leaned closer to kiss him “At least cover Samuel’s eyes you bad daddy” Jihoon laughed when Seungcheol smirked

“Don’t worry, he’s a heavy sleeper, like his appa” Seungcheol immediately kissed Jihoon before the younger could let out any protest

I love you I love you I love you, I will never get tired of loving you.

“When this project ends... can you help me with another project?” Seungcheol asked when he and Jihoon were relaxing on the bed later at night

“Actually I don’t really teach a lot of class for the next one month, I should be able to, what project?” Jihoon looked up from Seungcheol’s chest

“Make a brother or sister for Samuel project – OUCH! YA CHOI JIHOON!” Seungcheol yelped in pain when Jihoon elbowed his stomach strongly

“You deserve it”
