It has been two weeks since the girls became GFriend. Their team leader wasn't playing around with his word about working harder for their debut. Their practice time has increased. They were usually able to go home around 10.00 or 11.00 PM and now, they have to be in the practice room until at least 01.00 AM. It totally drained their energy, yes. Nevertheless, none of them was complaining. They knew this is for the best, but Sowon felt something weird with Yerin lately. For the past months, she has been very cheerful. The most cheerful version of Yerin that she ever seen. Now, suddenly she became very serious. She never talked about Yuju again nor having a chat with her virtual friend as often as before. Sowon thinks maybe because their debut date was fixed so that Yerin felt the need to concentrate, but the more she thinks about it, it was just different.

“Yerin-ah, don’t you want to go back to the dorm? It’s late.” Asked Sowon when everybody got back to the dorm and only both of them left in the practice room.

“No, eonni. I still want to practice some more. I think I’ve been lacking in some move.” Yerin answered. Emotionless.

“You don’t want to tell me what happens? You know you can talk to me.” Persuaded Sowon.

“Nothing happens eonni.”

“We both know you’re lying.” Sowon was looking at Yerin but Yerin keeps staring at the computer avoiding Sowon. “You know it’s rude to not see your interlocutors while she talks to you, right? But you know what, it’s okay, you don’t need to look at me, but please, just tell me what’s going on…as the oldest member and as your room mates, I’m very concerns of your situation right now.” Yerin still not talking. “Is it about Yuna?”

“No.” Yerin said, breaking her silence.

“Then why don’t I see you hanging around with her lately?” Yerin didn't answer the question but after sometimes, Sowon can see Yerin’s back moving and her shoulder was going up and down slightly. At the moment, Sowon knew that Yerin was crying but the younger girl was trying to hold it up hoping Sowon didn't notice. Sowon approached her slowly and when she reached Yerin, she put her hand in Yerin’s back and patted to comfort her. After a while, Sowon got on her knee so that she can see Yerin’s face. The older girl then swept the tears from Yerin’s cheek and Yerin hugs her right away. Yerin felt like she can’t hold it anymore. Not in front of Sowon at least and so, she cried for quite some times in the taller girl’s arm.

“Mind to talk to me, now?” asked Sowon.

“I don’t know where to start. I just feels like I’m not supposed to be upset, but the fact is I am.”
