"There’s just something I need to look for.” he muttered.

“If you say you need to find yourself, I will follow you there just to smack your head.” said the voice at the other end of the line.

He laughs but is uneasy. Is it wrong? Is it a crime to look for your life’s purpose? To see where it is? To at least try and search for it?

“I’ll call you if I get in trouble.”

“You better not. Don’t give our aunt a headache okay!”

“Yeah yeah bye.”

Something. Somewhere.

He has never left home before. He never dared venture to foreign lands for fear of new experiences. Or probably the fear of realizing he’s incapable of handling new experiences.

Maybe that’s why he hasn’t found what he’s been searching for.

He had decided to face his fear. He’ll dive right in and hopefully survive the plunge.
