Haemi couldn't believe the sight before her. She watched in awe as Jihyun apologized to her, a bright blush on her face. 

"Erm... I've been unfair to you..." Jihyun started. "So uh, sorry for jumping to conclusions." 

"O-oh it's okay. I was really rude to you too anyway, so... sorry," Haemi stuttered, clearly unsure about what to do with this situation. She knew that Taeil was trying to patch things up with his girlfriend, but he didn't expect the said girlfriend to be apologizing to her literally a few days after she talked to Taeil about everything. She just simply thought they'd have to avoid each other for a while. 

"Okay, great, glad we're all friends," Taeil remarked proudly, affectionately rubbing Jihyun's head, while also sending a grateful glance towards Haemi. She could see the relief in his eyes, and smiled back at the two. 

"Yeah," she nodded. "Well, I've got to be somewhere, but I'm glad that the two of you made up and I'm also sorry about what I've done, I know it was insensitive and I'll watch myself now."

Before the other two could say anything to rebut her statement, she quickly waved and walked off, not really willing to stay in their way for any longer. Even though she knew that Jihyun apologized to her, she couldn't help but feel slightly awkward around her, and didn't want to give off any wrong vibes towards her. 

Meanwhile, Jihyun stared passively at Haemi leaving, mumbling, "Well, that was awkward." 

Taeil looked down at her with an amused smile. "It'll be okay," he said reassuringly, before grabbing her hand. "I'm sure the two of you will come to a real understanding. That was just the start of it, you know?" 

Jihyun didn't look convinced, but he just chuckled before nudging her. "Do you not agree with me?"

"Eh, I don't know if it's that I don't agree with you, but..." she trailed off uncertainly for a moment, before continuing again, "I just don't know if we'll ever come to an understanding, just because of everything that's happened." 

"Really?" Taeil appeared to be surprised. 

"Yeah, I don't think she really wants to talk to me, but like I guess she also doesn't want to get you in trouble again huh?" She teased, nudging him this time. He merely let out a soft laugh before squeezing her hand gently. 

"Maybe you're right," he remarked. "But I do hope that you'll try and become friends with each other."

"Well, whatever happens happens," Jihyun shrugged and Taeil sighed in response. "But I guess I'll try."

Even though she appeared to be quite reluctant in saying that, Taeil couldn't help but bashfully smile at his girlfriend's attempt at trying to compromise with him. She wasn't particularly perfect and had her flaws too, but he had never felt so moved by a girl before. 

"Ji," he suddenly called out and the girl turned to him questioningly. "I know I messed up, but I hope you know that you're the only girl I want. I'm... I'm really lucky to have you."

Jihyun couldn't miss the bright blush on his cheeks as he faced her with unwavering affection. 

"I know you are," she teased, and he merely rolled his eyes. 

"Thanks for killing the mood," he grumbled. 

Jihyun laughed, but she couldn't miss the pull of her heartstrings at how cute he looked in that moment. She gazed into his eyes, which were soft with love, and she couldn't help but reciprocate. "You look like a teddy bear right now," she pointed out warmly, and Taeil merely chuckled, before pulling her closer into his chest. 

"Really?" He whispered, pressing his forehead against hers, and she hoped that he wouldn't notice the hot blush that was quickly growing on her cheeks. 

"Y-yeah," she stuttered awkwardly, unable to meet his eyes any longer. 

"Hey, why'd you look away?" He whined jokingly, and Jihyun groaned loudly. 

"Because..." she started to say, "you're... really... cuterightnow." 

Taeil was caught off guard with how quickly she said the last part, but couldn't hold back the affection he felt for her. "Oh really? Because you do too."

Jihyun stared back up at him once more before feeling her lips being captured by his. It was a soft peck, much sweeter than any other kiss he's given her for some reason, but she smiled against his lips and squeezed him as if she were a boa constrictor. 

"H-hey, you're squishing me," he laughed tugging at her arms. 

"So? Your lips are a little chapped by the way," she retorted, causing him to grow red with embarrassment. 

"Hey Ji! You're always ruining the mood," he grumbled, using one hand to rub his temple. 

"Blah blah blah, you like it enough to deal with it anyway," she mocked him, and he rolled his eyes. 

"You," he pointed, "are awful."

But before Jihyun could say anything to retort him, he quickly swooped in and gave her another quick kiss. 

"I like it though," he added proudly, and it was now her turn to blush with embarrassment. 

"Moon Taeil!" She hissed, tugging at his collar. "You're so annoying for that."

He raised his brow threateningly. "Oh? What are you going to do about it?" 

"Nothing," she simply said, releasing him and turning around. "I'm leaving, goodbye."

Taeil initially thought of it as a joke and waited for her to turn around with a playful grin on her face, but after a few minutes of her walking away, he realized that it wasn't a joke at all and quickly chased after her. "Hey Jihyun!" He whined, attempting to catch up, but the other girl had a small smile on her face as she continued to . 

Even though she knew that things wouldn't always be perfect between the two of them, and that they'd have a good share of fights, she couldn't help but also think about the tiny, heartwarming memories like these. 

And then decided that she could get used to it. 

"Jihyun!" Taeil finally called, grabbing her hand. "You play around too much."

She turned around to stare back at his faux frustrated face and giggled, before burying her face into his chest. "Love you," she mumbled randomly, catching him off guard once more. 

"O-oh, I love you too," he replied, reaching up to brush through her hair with his fingers. 

Yeah, she could definitely get used to this forever.
