The rest of the day went by uneventful. No more ‘gangs’ showing up. No more fights. Mark kept evading our questions about BTS and how he knew them. Myung- Dae kept asking how he knew them and what their names were. Mark would either say the same thing that he said earlier or change the subject. Mark has never kept a secret from us. So him not telling us who BTS is or how he really knows them is strange for me.

“Myung-Hee, are you okay?” Mark asks.

“I’m fine, Mark. Just thinking is all,” I say.

“Are you still thinking about BTS?” Mark questions.

“Possibly. Not like you would answer my questions about them even if I was thinking about them.” I explain.

“Myung-Hee, just let it go okay.” Mark sighs.

“Myung-Dae Oppa, I’m going to go get bubble tea. I’ll see you at home,” I say to Myung-Dae and then turn around.

I start walking away before either Mark or Myung-Dae have time to say anything.

“Myung-Hee! You can’t seriously be mad at me?” I hear Mark yell from behind me.

“Be careful! It’s dangerous out there,” Mark yells once he realizes I wasn’t coming back.

I walk away and continue to think about Mark lying to my brother and I. How could he lie to us like that? I thought we were best friends. I walk and I’m deep into my thoughts. I don’t even notice people walking towards me. Or should I say a person. I walk right into them.

“YAH! Watch where you are going!” a voice says.

I finally look up to see one of the guys from this morning.

“You are a member of BTS!” I say shocked.

“Yeah, and you are little Mark’s girlfriend,” he says smirking.

“Not girlfriend. Just friend. Which one are you?” I ask confused.

“The name is V. I don’t think we really had a proper introduction,” he says smirking.
