Synopsis: In Yixing’s fast paced and constantly changing world, Joohyun is the only thing that stays the same.

It was the only word running through his mind as he fell through the door, exhausted from being in three different time zones in the span of 24 hours. She was asleep on the couch with the tv on and a cup of tea on the coffee table. Yixing smiled as he tucked her hair behind her ear, she so obviously tried to stay up for his return but fell asleep despite her best intentions.

The girl’s eyes fluttered awake and a smile slowly made its way onto her face. “I tried to stay up,” she was killing him with her pout and she probably knew it. He pressed his lips to her forehead and whispered how grateful he was into her hair before dragging her off to bed.

Joohyun mumbled fragmented sentences about how much she’d missed him when he was away with her eyes half closed, fully trusting Yixing to guide her to bed. She stumbled over her own feet for a few steps before he decided to sweep her up bridal style and carry her instead. The girl tucked her head into her boyfriend’s chest and closed her eyes once again.
