(Sungmi P.O.V)

Today has finally come the day of the talent show I was nervous, but I had Miseok who kept me calm

Mrs.Jeon, gathered all the crew and participant after lunch to prepare for the show just like Friday I acted as part of the crew until everyone left, I sang and played piano for about three times just to make sure it was perfect

Miseok and I also helped Mrs.Jeonto set up the classes for the students who are taking part, sort of like a dressing room

For me, I would be using Mrs.Jeon’s office to get ready, since nobody knew I was performing, so Miseok and I went home after setting everything up, I packed the clothes I would be performing in some makeup and things to do my hair when I got there

Mrs.Jeon told me she would be helping me get ready since she knows how to do Hair and Makeup well

(later that day)

I was in the waiting room getting ready with the help of Mrs.Jeon I had to go on soon we were just waiting for Miseok to come and call us, and as if on cue the door opened

“Sungmi your on in 5 you need to head backstage.”

I got out of the chair and walked backstage with Mrs.Jeon and Miseok when we got there they told me it would be okay and I would do great when the last act left it was time, the MC came on stage

“What a wonderful performance from second-year dance student Heo Chan now it’s time we all have been waiting for she is not a contestant in the show but will perform to close off the night, Please welcome our Mystery Voice.”

I heard the applause coming from the crowd, the lights turned off, I made my way to the piano and sat down the light’s came back on, but no one could see me

I started playing and singing, there were a few surprised gasps, but I didn’t mind it

When the time came for the switch, the lights dimmed, and they had a spotlight on the front of the stage I got up, and Mrs.Jeon took over

I walked to the spotlight singing when I got there, and people could see my face they were shocked no one expected it to be me I guess

I spotted my brother and Minseok oppa in the audience and gave them a quick smile my brother waved like a mad man he is and Minseok oppa looked at me in utter shock and confusion I'm not sure why...

When I ended, I did a little bow to the crowd that was screaming whistling and applauding the MC came on stage

“WOW, what a performance am I right?” which made the Crowd scream even harder

“Now our mystery voice please introduce you and tell us about yourself.”

“Ne, Annyonghaseyo Kim Sungmi-Imnida, I'm a second-year music student, and I'm the little sister of Kim Jongdae, who has a wonderful voice he keeps hidden, to all those who came out tonight thank you for coming and supporting every contestant, please have a safe trip after the show.”

I waved at the crowd and made my way off stage

“That was amazing it was even better than what it was in rehearsals,” Miseok said as she hugged me

I nodded saying “it was so much fun to sing in front such a crowd I feel pumped and hyper now.”

“KIM SUNGMI” I heard my brothers voice behind me I turned around sheepishly thinking he would scold me for not telling him but instead he picked me up and spun me around

“That was amazing so wonderful since when are you such a good singer.”

“I have been practicing oppa, as they say, practice makes a perfect right.”   

“Oh, and they announced the winner the kid from the second year dance Heo Chan won he was the best, well after you of course.”

“Yeah, whatever oppa can we go home now? I am sleepy, too much excitement in one night.”

He gave me a nodded, and big smile since the show was over we all headed home I took a shower and went straight to bed the last thing I remember was a voice shouting

“YOU KNEW IT WAS HER ALL ALONG AND YOU DIDN’T TELL ME YAH KIM JONGDAE”

(Minseok P.O.V)

When it was time for the special performance of the Mystery voice, all the lights turned off I guess it was so no one knows who the person is? I don’t know, but when the lights came on us still couldn’t see her

She started to play the piano; it was that song of the girl I heard singing, could it be? My thoughts were confirmed the moment she started to sing; it was her she had such a beautiful voice the audience was going crazy everyone wanted to know who the girl was

After singing a bit the lights dimmed, and they set the spot light to the front of the stage I saw movement at the piano someone went and sat down, and someone got up, the person started moving to the spot light

When her face was visible, I thought my heart stopped beating and the whole world stopped moving, her, it was her and he didn’t tell me it was her, aish I am so confused, all this time it was her who had my heart being all weirdly and then attracted me with her beautiful voice

Well at least I know they are the same person right, but I might have to kill my best friend later for lying to me, he knew it was her it’s his sister, of course, he would’ve known when the performance was done we all went home

The girls went to bed leaving just me and Jongdae awake

“YOU KNEW IT WAS HER ALL ALONG AND YOU DIDN’T TELL ME YAH KIM JONGDAE” I shouted at him before I jumped him

“I didn’t tell you because she didn’t tell me she was going to perform so it would’ve spoiled it, and your sister knew as well she found out at Fridays rehearsal so why am I the one getting jumped”  he whined I sat next to him

“Fine but at least I know now the person and voice I like are one, so now it makes things much better.”

“True, so are you ready for tomorrow?”

“as I'll ever be, are you sure it will work?” he nodded confidently let’s hope this goes well
