(Jongde P.O.V)

When lunch finally came I decided to take a look at the posters that have been put up for the talent show, I went alone making an excuse saying I had to go to the bathroom, I took a look at the poster, and Sungmi’s name wasn’t on there, but it did have many good people on there

One of the things that caught my eye was that they had a special performance, I wonder who the person is who is going to sing after I was done I headed back to the cafeteria and took a seat with the rest of  the soccer team luckily for me Minseok told me he would get my food for me whilst I was gone

(Sungmi P.O.V)

I was helping the crew of the talent show put up posters since oppa’s and Miseok thought I was part of the crew I couldn’t blow my cover right now it would probably be blown later because today we have show practice I will be going after everyone goes home, and I mean Miseok is going home with me, so it will give it away...

When school ended, we went straight to the assembly hall where the talent show will be held, when the crew started setting up I quickly went to Mrs.Jeon and explained what’s going on she told me after everyone leaves and it’s my turn we will explain to her what is going on

I just kept moving with the crew making it look real when everyone finally finished Mrs.Jeon told everyone they could leave I was taking my time packing since I needed everyone to leave when it was only me Miseok and Mrs.Jeon left

Mrs.Jeon smiled and said, “Sungmi-ah are you ready?”

“Ne Mrs.Jeon luckily they left the sound like this for Monday, or else it would’ve been hard.”

“Well this is what I would get for planning something like this,” she said while laughing

I looked at Miseok who was confused I smiled at her and said: “Well you see I'm not part of the staff, I just needed to use that excuse on Jongdae oppa so he wouldn’t ask any questions.”

“Questions? What questions?” she asked still confused

“Miseok-ah you will see in a bit” I heard Mrs.Jeon say she then continued while looking at me “okay piano is there, and the mic is there if you are ready you can start”

I smiled at her and grabbed my sheet music “I am ready, I've been practicing this in secret, so I hope it is okay, Mrs.Jeon will you take over like we arranged” she nodded and walked to backstage

I sat down at the piano and set everything up when I was ready I said “I will be Singing You are my everything by Jung Ha Yoon” I started Singing after I introduced the song

 Where the piano was located you couldn’t see who was behind it that was our idea so, but at one point Mrs.Jeon will take over playing, and I will make my appearance and sing while standing on stage

When the time got closer I saw Mrs.Jeon come closer to take over I stood up with the Mic in my hand, and for the first time since I started singing I saw Miseok’s face, she looked shocked with a hint of confusion I smiled and continued singing until the end

When the song stopped, I looked at Miseok

“no way you are the secret performer?”

“I am, but you can tell no one, no one knows it is me not even Jongdae oppa.”

“Don’t worry I won’t tell him or Minseok oppa” I smiled and thanked her I turned to Mrs, Jeon and said, “was that okay?”

“Sungmi that was amazing, you don’t have to worry at all you will knock their shoes off, now you can go home, I am happy with your performance.”

We thanked her and collected our things and then started to walk home

“You know Sungmi you have a beautiful voice.”

“thank you, but if you heard Jongdae oppa sing you wouldn’t agree he has such an amazing voice, but not many people know it.”

“I get what you mean same with Minseok oppa he also has such a nice voice but doesn’t show it to many people.”

“I guess our oppa’s are more alike than I thought, did you know I had my first decent conversation with Minseok oppa yesterday, I didn’t talk to him other than timid hellos and goodbyes.”

“wait hasn’t he been friends with Jongdae oppa for over a year, and you only started talking to him yesterday.”

I nodded then said “when I was younger I had many friends but they all were using me to get closer to Jongdae oppa so I decided if I didn’t have a conversation with anyone, I wouldn’t have to go through that pain again, Minseok oppa figured it out last night and confronted me, he told me he would be my friend, and that I didn’t have to worry that he is only friends with me for Jongdae oppa since they are already friends”

“So you have the same fear as me I didn’t have the fake friends thought I was just scared of it happening, so I told oppa to act as if we were just friends and not siblings.”

“well we are also friends but don’t worry I won’t use you to get to your oppa since he is also friends with my oppa it would make things weird right...if I liked him?”

She smiled slyly and said, “do you by chance like Minseok oppa.”

I felt heat rush to my face “N-n-o w-why would I like him” I laughed awkwardly

“Yeah sure and pigs can fly, the blush on your cheeks gave it away though, you know I won’t mind having you date him, at least you are nice.”

“Yeah well he doesn’t like me in that way, so it doesn’t matter if I am nice or not” I finished off with a sigh

Our conversation went on her asking how long I have liked him and so on before we knew it, we were home and in only these few minutes of walking we have become close friends
