A held hand has many different meanings. It may be a gesture of greetings or help and many would like to believe it be a gesture of romance, but not in Baekhyun’s case. It was a gesture of anger. Why was it that everything she did always make his heart beat fast in rage?

His hand moved up to her wrist and he tightened his grip. Were they even on romantic terms at the moment? His jaws clenched as he searched for Hana’s eyes. Of course not, there was nothing romantic about him holding her hand.

What's this? She's pregnant now?

Hana found herself squirming at his squeeze. Was it even necessary? She was desperately waiting for Sehun to turn around and say something, hoping he would notice how much Baekhyun was hurting her. Hyesoo let her hand free as she found something more amusing to occupy her time. And, that freehand allowed her to help herself. She wrapped her hand around his wrist and didn't dare to avoid his glare. Her brows furrowed and her eyes became glossy as she struggled out of the painful grip.

“Is pizza alright for dinner? I realized I haven't had time for grocery shopping,” Sehun broke the awkward silence between the three. He clasped his hands in delight and anticipation as he looked at the two who still stood between the doorway.

“Pizza? That's how low he got while he was away?” Baekhyun said under his breath. The word “pizza” shocked him so much his grip loosened around Hana’s wrist.

“Yes, I would love pizza,” Hana spoke up, her voice hid away the pain from her throbbing wrist.

Hana eats pizza?

As if he could be any more annoyed, but the thought that she liked pizza bothered him just as much because Sehun also liked pizza.

“Pizza sounds fine,” he finally responded. His words came out stiff and formal. Pizza was never for the rich. It was a food without elegance and a greasy one at that, but he would let it pass this one time for himself of course.

“Loosen up Baek,” Sehun laughed as he continued to dial the number to his favorite restaurant. “Have a seat,” he gestured to the open couch as he occupied a spot near the coffee table.

When did Sehun decide to become so casual with Baekhyun? The last meeting they had ended up with them in a fight because of Hana. Was it because Sehun slept with his wife? Now that they were sharing he can just suddenly become best friends with him, was that it?

“Pizza will be here in a few minutes,” Sehun chimed, interrupting his thoughts as he hung up the phone.

Baekhyun looked at Sehun. He wanted to wipe that stupid smile off his face. He wasn't sure why Sehun had contacted him. Sehun's intentions were unknown and in fact scary.

“I'm going to go clean up before dinner,” Hana excused herself from the doorway. The awkward silence and stares Baekhyun was giving her made it uncomfortable.

Sehun sent a warm smile her way leaving Baekhyun no choice but to make himself comfortable on the couch. He looked around the room. This was a house Baekhyun had never imagined his younger step-brother to be living in. The kitchen could be seen through the living room entrance, a bit narrow. Sehun's taste for furniture and decorations were quite pleasing. The house was quite small and there was no security system, but he had to admit, the place was quite cozy.

“Congratulations,” Sehun interfered Baekhyun’s roaming eyes. It was clear his brother was trying to not engage in any eye contact or conversation.

Baekhyun turned his head. His brows furrowed. Was this supposed to be some smart remark or a challenge? What did he need to be congratulated for?

“Don't tell me she didn't tell you,” Sehun chuckled. “Congrats on the baby,” he cleared the confusion.

“Ah...that. O-of course I knew.” She was embarrassing him in front of his biggest rival, but Baekhyun would never admit to that. He was better off now than Sehun. There was no way something like this was going to drag him down and make him look like an idiot. In fact, he thought of himself as rather intelligent. He just wanted to come here, get Hana, and leave. He didn't want small talk, nevermind sleeping for the night. The house enveloped in silence again and Baekhyu
