Safe Haven
She remembers Hyoyeon being scared easily after that night. She would tense up whenever someone touched her suddenly, especially if the person was a male. Her body would start to tremble and her eyes would flood over with fear and trepidation.
Taeyeon walks in on Hyoyeon crying even more often now and she knows that she cries to herself every night. A few months after that night, she found Hyoyeon slumped against the toilet bowl, hurling up everything from her stomach. Then Hyoyeon had spotted her -wide teary eyes and pale face- and slammed the bathroom door close before Taeyeon could do anything.

Taeyeon turns sharply to stop at the side of the highway. She slams down the brakes and presses her forehead against the steering wheel. Her breathing comes out in ragged pants. Warm tears track down her face.
She knows what happened that night now.
Hyoyeon was .
I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me most.

"You were crying?" Tiffany asks her first thing she steps into the dorm.
Taeyeon doesn't even try to deny the fact and simply nods, dragging her tired body to the couch. Soonkyu shuffles over and massages her shoulders.
Should she tell them about Hyoyeon?
She figures that could wait. Her priority now is to find Hyoyeon. Taeyeon is sure she ran away, and not that she was kidnapped.
But where is she?
If Hyoyeon had only allowed her to collect the tests results, she must want Taeyeon to be the one who finds her. If she wants Taeyeon to find her, she must have told Taeyeon where she is.
Taeyeon frowns and focuses on her breathing. You really have to start listening to me, Tae.
They all had antis. Hyoyeon was more affected by them because that girl had trouble getting critiscm out of her head. They made her feel worthless, like she was put there without a reason.
So she took to drinking to escape
