Three (Part 2)
Safe Haven
Taeyeon stumbles out of the bathroom groggily. The moonlight is especially bright that night, she notes.
Just as she was about to twist open the doorknob to her room, Taeyeon hears the sound of the door clicking shut. She almost pees herself in fear, hands clenched into fists.
But when a petite figure with a head full on blonde hair steps into view, Taeyeon instantly relaxes. She's not going to die today.
Taeyeon open to scold that choding about coming home before midnight, but freezes when she sees Hyoyeon limp a step to the couch and hold onto it for support. Her knuckles turn white as her grip tightens. She lets out a soft moan.
Taeyeon is dumbfounded, still hidden in the dark shadows along the corridor. Her feet is rooted to the spot and is still open but no words were coming out.
She watches as Hyoyeon takes off her cap and mask and has to cover to silence a gasp.
Because Hyoyeon's cheeks are entirely swollen, what seemed like handprints evident. At the sides of her neck down to the exposed flesh of her collarbones were covered with ugly purple bruises.
What happened to you, Hyoyeon?
Taeyeon is frozen and forced to watch as the blonde heaves herself from the couch with much difficulty and slowly, excruciatingly, limps to the kitchen. Her features are twisted in pain and one hand is pressed against her stomach. Every step causes her to whimper.
Then, she looks up and there's Taeyeon, watching her. Hyoyeon swallows. Her expression is now devoid of pain Taeyeon is sure she's still experiancing and replaced by shock and confusion. Taeyeon's feet bring her to Hyoyeon.
The girl ducks her head slightly, letting her hair cover her neck and collarb
