Description

When Jimin finally awoke, he hadn’t expected to see… this.

// AU where a present day teen time travels back to his high school in a different decade.

a/n ;; i'm killing two birds with one stone here. my sister requested a jinmin story when i told her i wanted to try my hand at another group besides b.a.p, and i decided to do this writing challenge thing and what better way to challenge myself than to try something completely new (since i'm still a fairly new fan of bts as well). this was supposed to be a drabble - ended up being (hopefully) at least a two-shot. please don't hate me.

Foreword

“Wait, don’t go out--”

Jimin wasn’t listening, he was trying to get a signal. After stepping into the hallway he lifted his phone and clicked his tongue again when he noticed there was still nothing. It wasn’t until he noticed the unusual stillness around him that he looked up from the phone. Everyone was staring at him, but he didn’t recognize a single one of their faces. And they all looked so different, from their hair, to the girls’ makeup, to the bags they carried. Everyone was more clean cut, like how their parents would force them to dress for Sunday dinner with their grandparents.

He stepped up to the girl closest to him and asked her if she’d seen a guy named Yoongi around. He described the slightly older male to her and told her he would have been wearing a similar outfit to his - shorts, a snapback, a tank top - or maybe he put his hoodie back on. He didn’t even get to finish his description before the girl shrieked and slipped away to the nearest clean-cut guy she saw. He was a lot bigger than Jimin, he looked to be stronger, too. He quickly held up his hands and backed away as if to say he meant no harm as he overheard the girl fearfully asking the other boy if he thought Jimin was “one of those greasers everyone’s been talking about.”
