You stood tall in your tuxedo as I walked through the doors of the chapel in my white wedding dress. You didn’t notice me as I started walking down the aisle. You were too fixated on the thought of your tie. You finally looked up at me when the wedding march started playing. Our eyes met and I can’t believe that I, Bae Joohyun, met you, Kang Seulgi. You smiled at me and I smiled back. This reminded me of when we first met.

I was hungry and just wanted something to eat. On that day, a bunch of things came down crashing down in my life and I really wanted to eat. I walked through the doors of the place and looked up to see a woman with open, just looking at me. I giggled at her reaction and continued to the cashier. From the corner of my eye, she realized she had been caught and turned away with the most reddest face that I’ve ever seen. It was kinda cute to me. She took glances at me from time to time, while we both waited in line. She didn’t look bad herself either. She had unique monolids and she looked like a cute bear whenever she smiled. I wanted to talk to this weird woman staring at me, but I couldn't make a conversation. I saw that she had her order written down on a piece of paper. So, I looked at it and decided to order the same thing as her. When we went up to order, we said it at the exact same time. We looked each other in eyes and laughed. We started talking after that. That’s when I knew about you. I told you people called me Irene and you could just call me, Joohyun. You smiled and said your name was Seulgi. What you didn’t know was that nobody but you called me Joohyun.

I took short strides in my wedding dress down the aisle. I kept going towards you. It all felt so real. Like, I would be marrying you instead. I could see the stars in your eyes and the love. You looked so beautiful in that tuxedo.

You applied to the same college as me and I was glad and happy. I didn’t want to spend anytime apart from you. I loved our hugs and the way you would stay up with me, just to cheer me on when I was studying. We failed exams together and passed exams together. Don’t worry, Seulgi. I remember that day too. The day when I was exhausted from studying and I could barely lift my head up to keep reading. It was quiet and comfortable and my eyes started to close. I put my head down just for a minute and forgot the studying. I fell asleep. I felt something graze my cheek. It then went down and grazed my lips. What I didn’t expect was to feel soft lips kiss my forehead. It felt warm. I knew it was you. You were the only one wearing that perfume. I could hear you being quiet because you didn’t want to wake me up. You finally got up and it would be a lie if I said that I didn’t frown when you moved away. I liked having you there. So, I held on your wrist when you were getting up. Hoping that I could keep you there for as long as I could. You chuckled and carefully pulled my hand off. Darn it, why did you have to be so much stronger than me, even if I was older. I frowned but relaxed when I felt you put a blanket over me. I shivered at the touch of your hand when you fixed my hair, putting it behind my ear. Then, you went back to studying. I smiled at the thought of you. How could you be so perfect? I fell asleep again, thinking about you. It was late when I woke up, you were still studying. I peeked at you and you were checking your watch. You got up and started coming towards me. I quickly shut my eyes and pretended I was asleep. I felt you near me, You put away all the textbooks that were under me and took off the blanket. You turned the chair a little bit and I felt your arms starting to carry me. I clutched onto your shirt because I didn’t want to fall and because I wanted to be closer to you.
