[CONTENTID2] The War

“It’s been a long time hyung” chaeyoung said as he walked closer to the shocked jeongyeon

“Is this real?” the latter said earning a nod from chaeyoung “Yes it is”

Jeongyeon cupped chaeyoung’s small face

“Hyung” the latter said in a low voice but jeongyeon kept staring at the small guy's eyes

“Did you turned gay in the last few months?” he joked, jeongyeon pulled him into a tight friendly hug

“I missed you shortie!” he said

“Me too hyung!”

After few seconds they walked to the garden where jeongyeon was sitting

“Where is momo? And the baby? What did you named him? Or her” chaeyoung said excitedly, not like jeongyeon who sat on the couch in the garden, dozing off

“What??” chaeyoung asked, still standing near the couch, waiting for a response “And mina? Is she here?”

Jeongyeon shook his head “she is in Japan now” he replied

“Oh she came back to her parents, it’s okay I can go there when I finish what I came back for”

“and what is it?”

“You will know later, where is momo? I miss her”

Jeongyeon took a deep breath “we are divorced now”

“YOU WHAT?”

Jeongyeon got up, avoiding the look at chaeyoung who was staring at him with his eyes wide open

“she cheated on me”

“Momo? Cheated on you? in what world?”

“daeun, the girl, is not mine”

“What the are you talking about?” chaeyoung said standing in front of jeongyeon

“I did a DNA test! It was negative! She is not my daughter! She got pregnant when I was far away from home”

“you are joking right? We are not in April right?”

Jeongyeon just frowned and looked away

“YOO JEONGYEON!” chayeoung’s voice echoed in the whole garden getting the older’s attention

“I took momo to buy the puzzle pieces when she told you about the pregnancy! Do you really believe she cheated on you when she literally, loved you more than anyone?”

“THESE WORDS ARE USELESS NOW! SHE SLEPT WITH HIM! KWON JIYONG!”

Chaeyoung laughed “Waa another reason to hate that guy”

“I had enough, I am tired of crying over her when she doesn’t deser-“ jeongyeon didn’t continue his words not because he regrets saying them but because of chaeyoung’s slap. The slap was as loud as a clap. It had been an open-handed smack and it had left a red welt behind. Jeongyeon touched his red cheek and looked at chaeyoung with angry burning eyes

“Are you awake now? If no I don’t mind spending the whole night slapping you till you wake up yoo jeongyeon!”

The latter yelped, still touching his cheek, staring at chaeyoung

“You already lost 4 years of your son’s life, and I won’t let you do it with daeun and lose momo” he stated

“I already took my decision”

“ you and your decisions!”

“SON CAHEYOUNG!” jeongyeon yelled

Chaeyoung held jeongyeon’s shoulders shaking him “WAKE UP YOO JEONGYEON! THAT GUY TOOK HER IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES” he raged

After few seconds of calming down “Who did the DNA test?” asked chaeyoung

“The hospital” jeongyeon asked with a serious tone

“Oh I thought they usually do it in the restaurant” chaeyoung sighed “I mean who gave you the results?”

“Jaeguk”

Chaeyoung laughed “now I am not surprised”

“what do you mean?”

“Jaeguk is a traitor”

“What? He is the family friend since a long time” jeongyeon stated, he couldn’t believe chaeyoung’s words

“He works with jiyong now”

“What?”

Chaeyoung nodded “where is momo now?”

“I don’t know, I didn’t hear anything about her since she left the mansion”

All chaeyoung could do was glare at jeongyeon non-stop making the latter uncomfortable

“And jiyong?”

“I don’t know either, he disappeared, they said he is on a vacation overseas”  

“OH GOD” chaeyoung rolled his eyes and touched his forehead “Where is the DNA test?”

“In my room”

“Bring it and I am waiting by the car!” chaeyoung said getting up, jeongyeon weirdly obeyed, he can’t deny that he misses momo so much. But the doubts in his heart are killing him.

Chaeyoung was standing near jeongyeon’s car when baekhyun was walking around guarding.

“AHHHHHHHH!” he yelled falling on the floor “Is this the end? Am I dying? God forgive me! I will go to church and stop watching !” baekhyun said while looking at the sky, chaeyoung was laughing so hard, he walked closer but baekhyun was screaming more avoiding looking at him

“Get up! It’s me ! chaeyoung I am alive!” chaeyoung said offering his hand to the frightened guy. Baekhyun held chayeoung’s hand and got up

“It’s you really?” he asked

“yes it’s me!”

“I MISSED YOUUUUUUU” baekhyun said hugging chaeyoung tightly, luckily chaeyoung is all healed now, otherwise he would be dying in the brunette’s arms.

Jeongyeon came wearing his suit and holding the DNA test. He drove to the hospital Jaeguk did the test at

“Why are we going there?”

“To know the real result”

After few minutes they arrived, chaeyoung went to the Laboratory where there were few nurses and doctors, he saw a pretty girl with dark red hair, big eyes and her beauty was outstanding, he walked to her and stood in front of her desk

“Annyeonghaseyo” he said with a wink, she blushed so hard, and who wouldn’t? It’s the player chaeyoung after all, jeongyeon watched him with disgusted eyes.

After few minutes of flirting he handed her the paper “can I know if this real or not miss somi?”

She looked at it for few seconds “it’s definitely not from here, the one who faked it is really professional” she said giving it back to him, he smirked at jeongyeon who was standing far away

“I bet that the real one is here, can you give it to me?” he asked in a rough voice, making her blush, not forgetting the way he was staring at her eyes

“I I- don’t have the reference to do it” she murmured

“Aeey come on, there is no one here, no one will see you” he said, she looked around and like the luck came into chaeyoung’s field the floor was empty.

She nervously sat behind her computer and searched for the real result, jeongyeon went to the roof as he couldn’t take it anymore, the idea of him being wrong the whole time was suffocating him.

He was looking at Seoul when he felt someone behind him, chaeyoung sighed as he handed him the paper. Jeongyeon kept staring at him while taking the paper.

‘Probability of paternity: 99.9998%’ he read!

He turned his back to chaeyoung, feeling as small as ever, he let his tears fall. He covered his mouth with his hand, trying to cry silently but he failed miserably. Chaeyoung was just staring at him from behind, he stood next to him, and not looking at him he patted his back slowly yet fondly.

Meanwhile Japan – Tokyo

Momo was sitting on the rocking chair, near the window, watching the rain, the lighting and thunder… with a blank expression, she sighed. Her smile faded away from the day she left Seoul, she looked at daeun who was now almost 2 months old.
