“Reunited”

/Author’s POV/

Donghyuck slid beside Gaeul and set his tray down on the table.

“Hello! My name is Donghyuck!”

“What’s with you?” Gaeul looked at her incredulously.

“I was just practicing my English.” Donghyuck defended.

“English what?” Eunchae suddenly popped out of nowhere.

“Ohmygawd! I missed you!” Gaeul exclaimed as she flew out of her seat to give her friend a hug.

Eunchae smiled apologetically. “Sorry. We just came back from France. You know dad.”

“But, you’re not going anymore, right?” Donghyuck asked.

Eunchae shook her head. “Nope. I’m staying. We’re not going with dad on his business trips anymore.”

“GROUP HUG!!!” Taeyong announced as he stood near the table. He obviously just arrived. 

And together, they hugged Eunchae tightly.

“Oh, wait!” Donghyuck shouted.

“Eunchae, this is our new friend,” Donghyuck said as he pointed to Jaehyun. “Jaehyun hyung.”

Eunchae smiled back at Jaehyun who was smiling at her as Donghyuck made the introductions. She bowed politely.

“Hi, I’m Eunchae! It’s nice to meet you.”

“It’s nice to meet you, too.” Jaehyun returned the bow.

“Let’s eat!” Eunchae announced.

“Yah!” Gaeul called out.

“Hm?” Eunchae stopped chewing.

“You brat, have you forgotten what day it is?”

Eunchae smiled. “Shall we to go to the amusement park again later?”

“Ah! Yaaaah~ let us come too!” Taeyong begged.

“No! It’s our friendship anniversary.” Gaeul said.

Taeyong clung onto her arm. “Pease~” 

“Eyy~ hyung!” Donghyuck made a face.

But Taeyong didn’t mind him. “Please Gaeullie~”

Eunchae laughed. “It’s fine~”

“FINE!!!” Gaeul groaned. “Everyone can.”

“Yah!” Eunchae nudged Gaeul. “Haunted house again?” she suggested.

Gaeul smirked.

“WHAT THE HECK!” Taeyong shrieked.

“Whoever shouts the most pays for the food later!” Eunchae challenged.

“Yah! You think I’m going to lose?” Donghyuck shot.

“Nu-uh, I’m not gonna lose!” Jaehyun smiled proudly.

“We’re real men here!” Taeyong puffed his chest.

“We’ll go in pairs, okay? But judging will be individually.” Gaeul said. 

“Rock-paper-scissors?”

“Call!”

The a game of rock-paper-scissors started. Jaehyun would be walking alone, Donghyuck and Eunchae would walk together, and Taeyong and Gaeul are pairs.

“Yah! Have mercy on my ears, okay?” –Was the last thing Gaeul shouted before entering the haunted house. 

“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“YAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! NO! YOU WALK FIRST—AAAHHHHH!”

“EOMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!”

“HEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!”

“H-HI! YOU’RE A KIND GHOST RIGHT? HA-HA—WAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!“
