3:59 a.m. 

It was silent and way to hot. Amber had pushed all the covers off of him and at one point kicked off his sweat pants. He hated the heat, which was odd considering he grew up in California. Well to be specific California usually always stayed in the 80's while Seoul liked to skyrocket to triple digits.

Luna however was bundled in the blankets as she snuggled closer to her husband. Amber always commented how strange it was that she could be so cold in the middle of summer. 

In Amber's sleep he turned his face towards Luna's. Sensing his change she cuddled closer and kissed his nose before using his arm as her pillow. It was peaceful. So peaceful.

A loud scream startled the you couple awake. Luna sat up alarmed while Amber placed his arm over his shoulder. Soon cries could be hear from Johnny's room and Luna moved to get up before Amber grabbed her arm. 

He silently sat up and made his way to his son's room. He opened the door and was met with tear filled Johnny reaching to be picked up. Amber lifted the toddler into his arms and rubbed his back as Johnny continued to cry.

"Hey bud. Did you have a bad dream?"

He asked the toddler,

"Bad dreams right? But you know what always helps? Happy stories."

he continued softly while Johnny continued to cry,

" Like the story of how I met mommy. I wasn't very cool when I was little so mean big kids would always mess with me. I was so little that I wouldn't fight back. One day I was eating my lunch when this big kid came and throw my lunch away. I was sooo upset and I punched him. It didn't take long for him and his friends to start eating me up. While that was going on a little girl who barely made up to my shoulders pushed the big kid away. She said in a really loud voice 'You leave him a lone you bully!'",

Johnny's cries subsided to a light sniffle as Amber continued,

"The big kid got mad and was about to punch her when she kicked him hard in the place it hurts boys. He started crying and she turned to me to help me up. I swore I had seen an angel that day because she was the first kid at school to be nice to me. She had pigtails and was missing a tooth but she was the prettiest girls I had ever seen at school. After that we quickly became best friends. Fast forward and she would become the love of my life and give me my greatest joy. It hasn't always been happy and easy. There were times it was almost unbearable but she made the bad times worth it. Your mommy became my sun in my darkest days. Your mommy has always been my guardian angel."

Amber looked down and saw his son had fallen fast asleep. He smiled before gently placing him back into his play pin,

"One day you'll find your angel and when you do hold onto them as tightly as possible."

He have a Johnny a kiss before softly leaving the room.

He climber back into bed and Luna shifted to cuddle back into him,

"Is he ok?"

,she asked mid sleep,

"Yeah just had a bad dream."

, Luna frowned,

"How did you calm him down so fast?"

, she asked knowing that when Johnny had nightmares it would take a while for him to finally calm down. 

Amber smiled before pulling her closer,

"I just told him a happy story."

Luna turned to look at him before kissing his cheek. She went back to her original position and quickly fell asleep. Amber stayed up a few minutes longer as he watched her sleep. He fell back asleep with a smile as he dreamt about a little girl who saved a sad little boy.
