D'Suga: No, more like my friend who's the god of destruction dropped my phone into a bowl of cereal.

Yoongi

"What're you smiling at Yoongi-hyung?" Jimin questioned from his position on the couch.

"Ah nothing," Yoongi unconsciously smiled at the brief conversation he just had with the so called 'Angel' still a little unsure about why he even replied back to their messages in the first place, it wasn't really like him to associate myself with people he didn't really know, but then again, what could possibly go wrong. 

 

August 21st 

D'Suga: That's oppa to you Angel 

Cheonsa1004: Why on earth are you awake so early? 

D'Suga: Well you're awake as well aren't you? 

Cheonsa1004: True, the working life is hard. 

Cheonsa1004: Oppa? Oh my god. 

D'Suga: What? I am older then you.

Cheonsa1004: I can't believe this. 

D'Suga: What? Tell me. 

Cheonsa1004: I mean I can see how this could be misleading but still. 

D'Suga: For s sakes what did I do?

Cheonsa1004: I'm not that much younger, there's barely a difference.

Cheonsa1004: Shut up.

Jeonghan

Jeonghan read over the messages, a blush creeping its way up his neck and onto the tips of his ears. I took a deep breath and decided nothing off it and brushed it off as friendly banter. 

August 22nd 

D'Suga: What do you do anyway that makes you get up so early?

Cheonsa1004: What do you do anyway that makes you get up so early?

D'Suga: Very childish. I didn't wake up that early, I was about to go to sleep them. 

Cheonsa1004: Really? How come? 

D'Suga: I asked first, so you answer first. 

Cheonsa1004: Well 

D'Suga: Well?

Cheonsa1004: I work at a cafe 

D'Suga: That's cute. What do you do in the cafe?

Chenosa1004: I kind of run it haha

D'Suga: Like a manager?

Cheonsa1004: I kind of own it, so I guess like a manager.

D'Suga: Wait hold up, so you're barely legal, but you basically own your own business.

D'Suga: Well . 

Cheonsa1004: It's no big deal really, lots of people do it :)

Cheonsa1004: Now it's your turn. What do you do?

D'Suga: I produce music.

Cheonsa1004: No way, what type of music? 

D'Suga: Well I guess any type of music. One of my favorites would have to be Dead Leaves for this idol.

Cheonsa1004: Are you being serious right now? Like the same Dead Leaves sung by Jeon Jungkook right? 

D'Suga: Yup, the one and only ;) 

Cheonsa1004: I feel like I'm talking to someone super important right now. 

D'Suga: Nah you're not. Heck I'm not the one who has my own business at 21. 

Cheonsa1004: Well I'm not a successful music producer. 

D'Suga: ...

Cheonsa1004: That's right two can play this game. 

D'Suga: I wanna know

Cheonsa1004: Know what?

D'Suga: How'd did you get to owning a cafe anyway? 

Cheonsa1004: It was kind of something I felt like doing when I was young. My grandparents use to own a restaurant back in the day, and I remember visiting it a lot with my little brother. I always thought how amazing it would feel sharing the things you loved to eat with other people everyday :) 

D'Suga: That's actually really amazing. But you're so young and everyone knows starting your own business isn't exactly the cheapest thing to do. 

Cheonsa1004: It's a little complicated. 

D'Suga: Complicated how? If you don't mind me asking. 

D'Suga: You honestly don't need say anything you don't want to, I'm just being nosy. 

Cheonsa1004: Oh no it's completely fine. 

Cheonsa1004: When I was in my last year of high school my parents passed away in a accident, and although they did leave behind an inheritance for Chan and me, I knew it wouldn't really last forever. I dropped out of high school and started up the cafe :) 

D'Suga: I'm so sorry for your loss. 

D'Suga:  I'm sorry, I'm a little too curious for my own good sometimes, I hope I didn't make you feel like you had to tell me. 

Cheonsa1004: Hyung it's okay! I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't want to and plus it was a long time ago so everything's much better now. 

D'Suga: I'm guessing Chan is your little brother? 

Cheonsa1004: Yeah he is, he's four years younger then me. He's such a spoilt little baby. 

D'Suga: I can see where he gets it from. 

Cheonsa1004: I am not a spoilt baby. 

D'Suga: Well you're doing terribly at proving that point. 

Cheonsa1004: What do you usually do besides produce music?

D'Suga: I'm actually a underground rapper. 

Cheonsa1004: No way that's so cool! What can't you do?

Cheonsa1004: I have a few friends who actually do underground rapping :) 

D'Suga: You're joking. 

Cheonsa1004: I'm not 

D'Suga: Where do they usually rap at?

Cheonsa1004: This place called Parhelion

D'Suga: Holy . What are their names?

Cheonsa1004: They go by S.Coups and Vernon. Do you know them?

D'Suga: I do. Hell I've talked to them heaps of times. 

D'Suga: Small world. 

D'Suga: This means that we both live in Seoul. 

Cheonsa1004: We could've crossed paths, I've been to some of their rap competitions, who knows I could've seen you before!

D'Suga: I'm a little shocked.

Cheonsa1004: Woah Grumpy Grandpa shows more emotions everyday.

D'Suga: You better hope I never see you in person you lil' , you'll never see sunlight again. 

Cheonsa1004: Gotta go byeeee Hyung <3 

D'Suga: That's right you better run. 

Yoongi

Yoongi layed in bed, it was already late at night but he couldn't help think back on his little chat with Angel. Sure Angel was a man but honestly he never did think it was a girl, but that didn't change anything at all. He felt like the two of them really connected in a few ways, despite having different interests and personalities, Yoongi could see them becoming good friends and he was glad that he decided to reply back to the stranger. 

 

August 23rd

Cheonsa1004: Favorite color?

D'Suga: White, you?

Cheonsa1004: Black and Red. 

D'Suga: Favorite food?

Cheonsa1004: Stew and Chicken, you?

D'Suga: Meat.

Cheonsa1004: Blood Type?

D'Suga: O, you?

Cheonsa1004: B. 

D'Suga: Where were you born?

Cheonsa1004: Seoul, you?

D'Suga: Daegu.

Cheonsa1004: Height?

D'Suga: 176 cm, you?

Cheonsa1004: Ha! I'm taller then you by 2 cm. 

D'Suga: And here I thought there was a nice flow going on here. 

Cheonsa1004: Are you sure you're older then me, you're so tiny! 

D'Suga: I think instead of Angel I should be calling you Devil, since you're a brat. 

Cheonsa1004: Don't deny it, if you ever see me you might see a halo above my head. 

D'Suga: Right. By the way, I wanted to ask you how you knew S.Coups and Vernon. I don't know much about Vernon but from the looks of things he's a talented kid, he'll probably get scouted soon enough. But I know Seungcheol relatively well enough to meet up occasionally and he's quite the good rapper. 

Cheonsa1004: I've known Vernon since high school, Vernon and a good friend of mine Seungkwan are together. And um I guess you could say that Seungcheol and I are kind of close. We've known each other since we were basically in diapers. 

D'Suga: Close huh? Like best friends? Brothers?

Cheonsa1004: Close enough hahahaha

D'Suga: Oh I wanted to ask if you're going to the Riff tomorrow at Parhelion? 

Cheonsa1004: I am :) Will you be there? 

D'Suga: I'll be the opening performance. 

Cheonsa1004: I'll see you then

D'Suga: And I'll see you.

 

August 24th

Yoongi

Yoongi was getting ready to start heading to the club and he was overcome by nerves. Sure it wasn't his first time opening up the performances, but just the thought that Angel was going to be there looking at him made his stomach churn. 

"What's got you so worked up?" Yoongi turned around to see Namjoon with his eyebrow raised looking at him. "Is this about that mysterious person you've been texting?" Yoongi swallowed. 

Namjoon was Yoongi's roomate Seokjin's boyfriend. When they met Namjoon and him clicked since they had so many things in common and eventually became pretty close friends. Namjoon was also a rapper alongside another friend of theirs Hoseok, they often performed in a trio. 

"Nothing. Let's head out." Yoongi responded eventually. 

"Whatever you say Hyung," He could almost feel Namjoon smirking. 

Lights were flashing and the stench of alcohol high in the air. Some people were bobbing their heads to the beat of the music and well some were doing things, which Yoongi would prefer to do in the bedroom. Has Angel really come here as many times as he said he did? I didn't seem like the type of place a goody two shoes who ran a cafe and didn't like swearing would like. 

Yoongi started to get ready to perform. 'Agust'D' was the song he was planning on rapping tonight, it was one of his favorites as well as one of his more fast paced songs and tonight, he felt like he needed to impress. Rather than Yoongi he performed under the name of Suga, so Angel would surely know it was him who was performing. 

"Give it up for your man SUGA!" He heard his cue and went on stage. He could see a large crowd all piled on top of each other, it was much too crowded to recognise a specific face, but he had hoped that Angel was there. 

"Make some noise, this is Agust'D!" He started his rapping and everything on his mind eventually faded away. 

Jeonghan

Suga. Jeonghan knew that it wasn't any other Suga, but it was the one he had been talking to for the past couple of days. He was in the crowd with Seungkwan, they were both here to support Vernon and Seungcheol. His performance was exhilarating, he didn't realise he was holding his breath until the last moment. Suga was spouting words after another, it was impossible to keep up. 

He understood now that Suga was indeed passionate about music and that's probably why he was so successful in the music industry. From the cheers and yelling from the crowd, Jeonghan knew that he wasn't the only one who thought that. Vernon and Seungcheol had eventually performed and they all went over to grab a few drinks before heading out after the long night. 

Jeonghan decided to send a quick message to Suga.

Cheonsa1004: I was there, your performance was amazing!!

Yoongi

Yoongi felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and fished it out, a smile made its way onto his lips as he read the message. Just as he was about to reply his attention was diverted to someone calling his name. 

"Suga!" He put a face onto that voice and saw Seungcheol heading towards him with his arm curled around someones waist, probably his girlfriend. "That was a great performance man." Seungcheol grinned. 

"Talk to yourself, I think your collaboration with Vernon for 'Check-In' was one of your best yet." Yoongi bumped his fist against Seungcheol's and his eyes moved over to the body Seungcheol had pressed up close to himself. 

Yoongi's eyes widened in shock a little as he realised that it wasn't a woman on his arm but it was a man. His brunette hair cascaded down his neck just below his shoulders. He had dainty features from his slim nose and feline eyes to his small pink lips. He was beautiful. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful people Yoongi had ever laid eyes on. If he looked hard enough he thought he's start seeing flowers everywhere. 

The beautiful man gave Yoongi a smile, a smile that could probably make traffic stop and Yoongi returned it. 

"Ah! This is Yoon Jeonghan he's a-" Seungcheol paused, "A close friend of mine." 

Yoongi thought he almost saw Jeonghan's smile falter a little, but brushed it off. "Nice to meet you Jeonghan, I'm Min Yoongi or you might have seen me up there as Suga." Yoongi greeted and held his hand out for the latter to shake. 

"Nice to meet you Yoongi, you were amazing up there," Jeonghan expressed, lifting his hand up to meet Yoongi's. 

Yoongi was a little taken back with Jeonghan's compliment along with the small soft hand brushing up against his. "Thank you," Yoongi muttered back. 

They eventually said their goodbyes, calling it a night, and all Yoongi could do was see Jeonghan being led away by Seungcheol who still had a tight grip around Jeonghan's waist. It was explained for with the rush of the club and a pretty face like Jeonghan's, anyone might keep him a little closer than necessary. The last thing he had heard Seungcheol say was a small, "Let's go Angel." 

Angel. That made Yoongi question their friendship, maybe they were something more, but he didn't understand why he was so caught up with it or was bothered by their contact as much as he was. 

Yoongi decided to forget about the interaction for now and decided to continue texting his Angel. 

D'Suga: How come you didn't come up to see me?

Cheonsa1004: I'm sorry! There was just always so many people around you and the club was super crowded. 

D'Suga: I met one of Seungcheol's friends tonight

Cheonsa1004: Oh yeah? Who?

D'Suga: His name was Yoon Jeonghan I think

Cheonsa1004: Oh that's cool!

D'Suga: How come you weren't with them?

Cheonsa1004: Oh I had to head home a little early, Chan is a growing boy and needs his dinner :)

D'Suga: Whatever I'll let you off this time. 

Cheonsa1004: I'll talk to you later yeah? It's a little late.

D'Suga: Yeah, night Angel.

Cheonsa1004: Goodnight

 

August 25th 

It was much too early in the morning for Yoongi to even function, especially because he was out late last night. He had to get to the company early this morning to help record another song, it was going to be a long day ahead. When he left his apartment, the sun was just starting to peak up beyond the horizon. He was almost at the company when he realised he's forgotten to grab his morning coffee at the cafe next to his apartment. 

Groaning and contemplating his life choices, he tried looking around to see if there were any shops around which could provide him with his needs at this early hour. The cafe near his apartment was always open early, while the other took another couple of hours to open up. He knew he was being dramatic, but he would not survive without his coffee in the morning. 

Something caught his eye as he was about to take the last corner to the company. A small shop with 'Cheonsa' written in cursive writing. An open sign was all it took for Yoongi to make his way across the street and into the store. He was immediately awoken by the strong smell of coffee and other beverages inside the warm shop. The walls were a mixture of wood and brick, there was a bookshelf located towards the end of the cafe, everything about this cafe screamed warm. 

Yoongi had to shake his head at the thought of how many times he'd stumbled on something to do with Angels in the past couple of days but brushed it off as a coincidence. There were a few people in the cafe, some on tables enjoying their morning coffee before heading off to work, while others had them to go. 

"Welcome to Cheonsa, may I take your order?" A soft voice shook him out of his thoughts and he looked up only to be struck frozen. 

Yoon Jeonghan. 

The same one he had been introduced to only the night before was in front of him, his long hair was pulled to the back of his head on a small knot and his bangs were covering one side of his face. Jeonghan looked up from the register as the person in front of him hadn't made any noise only to be shocked himself. 

"Oh! You're from last night" Yoongi was shaken from his thoughts and gave a small smile.

"Yeah, it's Jeonghan right?" He asked. Jeonghan replied by giving a small nod and returning a bright smile. 

"What would you like to order Hyung?" Jeonghan asked. 

"Oh right, ugh Triple Shot Americano, to go." Yoongi recited, just as he had done every morning he had to report this early. Jeonghan smiled and pushed some buttons on the cash register, "That'll be $3.80." Yoongi took the change from his wallet and handed it over to Jeonghan, his fingers brushing against Jeonghan's palm slightly. "It'll be ready in a minute," Jeonghan announced before going towards the barista machinery and getting started on his order. 

Yoongi waited near the counter, but his eyes couldn't stop following the brunette. The way his eyes crinkled when he was pouring coffee beans into the machines and the way he spaced out while waiting for the machine, there was just something about him that made Yoongi want to know more. 

"Your order is ready," Yoongi was snapped out of his daze and greeted by Jeonghan's bright smile. 

"Thanks." Yoongi grabbed his coffee and flashed Jeonghan one last smile before heading towards the door.
