Confrontations and Disappointments
As Time Goes By...The elevator ride up was rather nerve-wracking. There were several other people, tourists probably, since Moonbyul couldn’t make out of their language. Her, Yongsun, and Eric are pushed at the back part of the elevator. Slowly, people inside were reducing, going down to their own floors until such time it was the three of them left inside. Moonbyul released a long huff before making her presence known to Yongsun and Eric.
“A meeting huh?” Moonbyul asked Yongsun, annoyance evident in her tone. Yongsun’s jaw dropped the moment she saw Moonbyul. Eric, right beside her, froze in his spot as well. “B—By—Byul? What are you—”
“Mind to introduce me to your lovely companion here?” Moonbyul said, “No wait nevermind, I’ll do it myself.” Moonbyul extended her hand towards Eric, who was still brazen at the current situation. “Hi! I’m Moon Byul-Yi. Currently, I am a film producer and director. And yes, I am her wife.”
Eric seemingly regained his posture and shook Moonbyul’s hand rather hesitantly. He then proceeded to press the button heading to the lounge. “We are heading to the lounge to talk about an urgent matter. Which floor are you heading to?”
Moonbyul ran her fingers through her hair and slammed that very same hand to the elevator wall. “DON’T TRY TO FOOL ME!” she screamed, “If you are both heading towards the lounge, why do you have a keycard then? Don’t take me for a fool, you bastard.” Moonbyul used every ounce of strength she has to hold herself back from hitting Eric.

The walk towards the room was silent and tormenting. Moonbyul tried to collect her thoughts on what she should do. Scenarios slowly forming in her head and right now she’s even more bothered. Yongsun has her head dropped low. She couldn’t bear to face Moonbyul after what she has done. Now that she was caught, how will she appease Moonbyul and get her back, get their life back to normal, as if that was even the direction Moonbyul would want.
Once arriving at the room that they booked, Moonbyul snapped a photo of Eric opening the door. Unbeknownst to her, she didn’t shut off the clicker sound from her phone which then caught the attention of the distressed pair in front of her. Moonbyul then ushered them herself to sit.
