Sixth day 


"This was a bad idea Taehyung. I feel suffocated already. And it's been only five freaking minutes!" Jin ran hishands​ hand through his hair and let out a sigh, shaking his head in disapproval. 


" Oh come on Jin hyung! We are gonna be able to do solve it easily." I patted his shoulders and grinned at him. He seemed to calm down a bit.


"When we get out of here, you are taking me to one of those arcades where they offer huge plushies though. " Jin hyung quirked an eyebrow at me.


"Sure, hyung. Anything you want." I grinned at him.

"Okay then. So we are supposed to look for clues with the sentence 'Room Escape Game' on them?"


" Yeap Jin hyung. The first clues are supposed to be quite easy. Let's search under those tables for envelopes of sorts."



"Uhmm I think we should check​ the green table first." Jin hyung walked closer to the table and started searching for envelopes. 


"I think it found the first clue Taehyungie!"


"See? I told you we'd be good at it. Hail Taejin!"


"Who's Taejin?" Jin hyung chuckled.


"Our team hyung. Taehyung & Seokjin! Or you like Seokhyung more?" Jin hyung started laughing hysterically, covering his mouth with one hand and almost tearing up.


"December boys?" I said as started to laugh too, seeing Jin hyung wipe his eyes while trying to control his laughter.


"December boys sounds like a boy band's name. And Seokhyung is the most ridiculous team name I've ever heard. But.." Jin hyung paused in-between his sentences.


"I like Taejin though."


"Taejin it is then!" I said excitedly. I felt so happy to see Jin hyung relax again. Everytime we try something new, he seems a bit on the edge. Is he afraid of changes a lot?


No matter how much Jin hyung smiles or puts on a poker face, there's so much to him then his charismatic personality and ethereal looks. I might solve our room escape riddles easily and lose interest about this game. 


But I'll never solve the mystery called Kim Seokjin. And more I get to know about him, the more I seem to fall for him. 


Everytime I look at him , I feel my heart beating loudly against my chest. It's not like something one feels out of pure lust but more like a longing for him.


A longing to hold him in my arms, to make him smile, to take all his pain away when he looks broken, to kiss him breathless when he feels lonely and to understand him like none can.


Will I ever get a chance to do that? 


Of all the guys, my heart decided to fall for the one who's leaving this country in two days. 


Will I ever get to tell him about my feelings?

"I still can't believe I solved all the riddles before you did!" Jin hyung exclaimed with his beautiful warm caramel eyes widen, as if he was seeing something wonderful for the first time in his life.

I just can't take my eyes off from him.


"I still can't believe you won the huge plushie! I spent so much on that game, just to get that plushie for you. And what's more unbelievable is that you made me drive back to your hotel just so you don't lose your plushie. " I chuckled while shaking my head in disbelief.


"Seems like luck is on my side today." Jin hyung replied as he took a careful step. It was quite dark around the stairs, so I had a tight grip on Jin hyung's wrist.




"I had no idea it would be this windy up here. Not that lucky either." Seokjin said gritting through his teeth. We were climbing up the stairs of the Effel Tower at night.

I wanted to show him the charm of Paris and what better way to do that than show him The City of Light in all its glory?


Only problem being how windy it was up in here, almost seventy metres above the ground. Thanks to Heaven, I brought an extra coat with me. 


"Here." I took off my coat and put the fluffy warm blue coat on him. 


"But Taehyungie! You must be cold." Jin hyung whinned in response. 


"Actually that was a extra coat I brought along for you, I wasn't sure if you would have brought clothes warm enough so I brought one more than necessary." Jin hyung looked at me and smiled. 


We kept talking about everything and nothing while climbing the stairs.


"Wait, Jin hyung what's the time right now?" Jin took out his phone. 


"It's 9:58 on the clock now. Do you have anything​ important​ to check on right away?" Jin looked up at my face.


"Yeap. Really important thing!" I slowly walked towards to him and stood behind him. 


I reached my hands out to cover his eyes with one of my hands and hold him steady against chest with another hand by wrapping my hand around his waist.


"Close your eyes and count to ten." I whispered in his ears. 


"Ten. Nine." He started counting. When he reached one I took my hand off his eyes slowly and dropped them on his shoulder.


"Woah!" Jin hyung stared at the fully lit tower in awe. The lights of the tower were reflected in his almond eyes, making him look like a character out of a manga. 


"This so beautiful! Thank you for bringing me here Taehyungie." Jin hyung said after a while. 


"I came here to have a break from everything around me. To restore my shattered self to the my old happy self after all my attempts to do that failed.But.. "


"Standing here with you right now, makes me feel the happiest I've ever felt in awhile. I don't how to thank you enough. I feel as if I have found a missing piece of my unsolved puzzle.I feel whole again. " Jin hyung turned around to face me and wrapped me in a tight hug. 


I buried my head in his shoulder, the smell of cardamom from his hair filling up my senses. I could only feel his body warmth on mine and his smell. 


When he let go of me, I suddenly felt so deprived from his warmth. I didn't wanna let him go so I  grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards me, almost making him almost tumble on me. 


He stared at me with wide eyes and mouth agaped. Without a second thought, I lunged forward to taste his irresistable plump lips, closing the distance between us by tangling one of my hand in his beautiful hair.


Somehow it felt better than I could ever imagine. He was startled by my actions but I found him responding to my kiss slowly. I smiled against his lips and kissed him deeper than before. 


After we broke apart for air, I stared at his eyes which were slowly getting filled with tears. I pulled him closer again and kissed his forehead.


"I have to leave the day after tomorrow." Jin hyung managed to say while with his head buried against​ the crook of my neck as a sob escaped  his lips.


"I know. But we still have tomorrow."
