Playing House Part II
Red Light AgencyKrystal tapped her knuckles on Sulli’s door before opening it and finding the girl looking at three different computer screens.
“Hey kid,” she announced her presence and Sulli nearly jumped out of her chair.
“Don’t do that,” she pressed a hand to her chest trying to catch her breath, “Normal people knock you know?”
“I did,” Krystal rolled her eyes, “Dinner’s ready, shut it down and come eat.”
“I’ll be there in a minute,” Sulli waved her away turning back to the screens.
Krystal stepped out of the room and headed next to Amber and Luna’s knocking and again opening the door fully.
“Oh, wow,” she smirked trying to suppress a chuckle.
“What?” Sulli had finally emerged from her own room and stood beside Krystal.
“Huh, how do you…” Sulli tilted her head to the side scrutinizing the situation before Krystal covered her eyes with her hand.
“I’ll just go ahead and tell Victoria you two have already eaten,” she laughed.
“Fine we’re embarrassed you don’t have to be crude,” Luna growled crossing her arms over her bare chest as she straddled Amber’s waist on the bed.
“Me?” Krystal blanched, “You’re the ones playing twister.”
“You know I always thought Amber was a top,” Sulli commented moving Krystal’s hand.
“Nah,” Krystal shook her head with a smirk, “She doesn’t have the teeth for it, but Luna definitely.”
“How can you tell?” Sulli asked and Krystal began to explain when Victoria walked up behind them.
“What are you guys staring at?” Victoria looked into the room before grabbing the door and shutting it, “Okay nature shows over.”
“Aww…it took forever for them to get to the good part,” Sulli pouted.
“Come on I’ll explain how if she actually had reversed her position it would have allowed for maximum pen…” a hand muffled Krystal’s mouth and Victoria slowly shook her head in warning.
“Enough, now go eat,” she released her hand from Krystal’s mouth and Sulli walked past them.
“She’s an adult don’t baby her,” Krystal smirked; “Besides I bet I could even teach you a thing or two.”
Victoria’s eyes gave her a slow once over causing Krystal’s confidence to fray slightly, “Okay.”
“O-okay what?” Krystal stammered backing up into the wall as Victoria pursued her.
“I’ll take that bet,” Victoria put her palm against the wall by Krystal’s head.
Krystal wasn’t sure whether Victoria was serious or not and she hated the fact she found herself on the receiving end of the teasing. She was angry and confused, she wanted to close the distance and kiss the other woman, but the other part of her wanted to punch her in the throat for being able to get under her skin.
“You guys coming I’m starving!” Sulli whined and Victoria cocked an eyebrow, her smoldering gaze never leaving Krystal’s.
“I’m coming,” Krystal winced visibly at her own choice of words as Victoria smirked.
Krystal ducked under Victoria’s arm and tried to keep her cool as she walked to the kitchen even though her legs were trembling. After she disappeared around the corner Victoria let out the breath she had been holding and gently banged her forehead against the wall in front of her.
“What are you doing, she’s is way too young for you, and besides that she’s more trouble than she’s worth,” she chastised herself before smiling; “Nice to know I’ve still got it though.”
“Got what Vic-unnie?” Amber emerged from her room fully dressed.
“Nothing,” Victoria blushed walking away.
“What was that all about?” Luna asked.
“Vic-unnie was talking to herself again,” Amber shrugged placing a hand at the small of Luna’s back.
“Worse than usual?” Luna asked.
“No," Amber grinned.
“Good no need to worry just yet then,” she kissed Amber’s cheek.
After Dinner Victoria lay awake with her mind a hopeless mess of stacked up thoughts. She had come back to this place and it was as if nothing had really changed. The girls were still her girls though she had noticed the furtive glances in her direction as if they were skeptical she’d still be around in the morning. Her fingers subconsciously slipped under the hem of her shirt and traced one of the few scars that peppered her body. Rustling from the bed next to hers caused her to sigh and roll her eyes. Krystal had been tossing and turning for over an hour and it was beginning to chip away at her patience.
“Krystal,” she whispered, “Krystal.”
Getting up she walked over to the other bed, but realized the young woman wasn’t just tossing and turning. Krystal was in the throes of a nightmare. The young woman clawed at the sheets, bit the pillow, and was growling and mewling as if in pain. Only hesitating for a moment she slid under the covers and molded herself to Krystal’s back holding her firmly to stop the thrashing. The young woman relaxed into the embrace and when Victoria began humming softly her breathing slowed. Feeling the stress recede she began to lift her arm to extricate herself, but Krystal suddenly grabbed her by the wrist bringing the hand back to her stomach.
“Oh no,” Victoria whispered as she realized she was stuck for the night.
Attempting to make the best of it she got as comfortable as she could and tried to ignore the fact that Krystal smelled like sunshine and mangos.
