"CONGRATULATIONS UNNIE!"

My heart flutters while reading the sweet and congratulatory messages from my family, colleagues, and friends. It is what kept me busy today, answering messages and calls, as my phone hasn't stopped ringing since my pre-release single was dropped this morning. 

"Thank you, Yeri." I replied. 

Can't Control Myself ranked 1st in various charts just minutes after its release, and I couldn't be more proud of it. But of course, not in a boastful manner. I'm just glad that the people liked it.

"I just can't stop myself from watching the music video again and again. I mean, it is definitely YOU. " Sooyoung said in a playful tone. 

I glared at her while suppressing my laugh. It's funny because, somehow, I know she's going to say it.

"It's just a song. Don't put meaning to it. "

But who am I kidding? That song was made out of experiences. The pull and push relationship. The toxic one.

"You know, you don't have to deny it just because you've gotten over it already." She said, with a nonchalant face.

Though Sooyoung isn't part of SM anymore, like the other girls, they are still allowed to visit the building and use the facilities. Hence, we're here in one of the dance studios of the company.

"I'm not denying it. It just doesn't matter anymore. " I said.

It's true. I mean, how many years has it been? 7 years? 8 years? 

"Oh right. I forgot that you're already in the happiest days of your life. " She laughed. "It just proves how amazing you are as an Artist, Taen
