Sehun sighs softly as a cry peals through the air again. When he enters Han Lei’s room he is confronted with the sight of Han Lei gripping tightly onto the deer plushie he was gifted on his first birthday.

“Appa!” Sehun smiles gently before picking up the four year old boy and holding him close.

“What’s wrong my little prince?”

“I want to hear baba’s voice again.” Sehun nods before walking over to the cd player and hitting the play button. Guitar chords fill the air quickly followed by Luhan’s voice in Chinese.  Han Lei sings along softly while all Sehun can do is hold him close to his chest. When the song comes to an end Han Lei buries his face into Sehun’s neck. There is a soft knock from the child’s bedroom door. Sehun turns and smiles slightly at Baekhyun.

“Yixing is here to see Han Lei.” The mentioned boy instantly brightens and starts bouncing in his father’s arms.

“Uncle xing! Daddy take me to uncle Xing.”Baekhyun only nods before taking Han Lei from Sehun and leading him to the living room while the small boy bounce walks next to him.
