"누구십니까 (who are you)?"

Saera quickly stood up and bowed at the man who just walked in. She was more than nervous because she has been treated like a criminal and for the past 3 hours she thought she was going to die in that room.

“I ...I… I didn't steal anything, I swear” Saera said, scared

The man who came in was Prince Manager. He closed the door behind him and took the seat across from her. Saera thought he was another person who was going to ask her more questions. He put his hands together and rested his arms on the table while Saera just sat and stared at him.

“I don't even know where to begin. Oh right, I'm Siwon's manager” he said

Saera stared at him, still trying to understand what was going on.

“He got a call earlier to come but he couldn't so he sent me instead. I'm sorry about the mix-up. I talked to the manager already and they apologized for their mistake” he explained

“So...so I can go?” she asked

“Yes, you're free to go” he said with a friendly smile

The two of them stood up and as soon as they were out in the store again, the manager of the store followed by the saleslady kept on bowing and apologizing for their mistake. Saera has never seen anyone act that way towards her and she felt sorry for them. She didn't even care that they locked her up in a room and accused her of being a thief. She wondered what Prince Manager told them to act that way.

The saleslady handed her back the paper bag and explained that the shoes have already been changed to the right size. She just bowed and started to walk towards the exit while Prince Manager followed.

“Excuse me...but what just happened?” Saera asked Prince Manager

“They made a mistake and they apologized” he said while looking at his phone

“I mean...why did they think I stole the shoes?” she asked more

“I think Siwon can fill you in on that part. Anyway, are you going home now? Let me drive you” he offered

They reached his car which was a dark-tinted Prius which looked brand new. She looked at him then at the vehicle. She has never ridden a car before, not even a taxi so she felt nervous.

“No... It's okay, I can take the train. I'm not too far from here” she said, feeling she’s already done enough damage

“Are you sure?” he asked

She smiled and bowed at him. Whatever he did to let her go was more than enough and she couldn't accept any more kindness. Another nice gesture from a complete stranger, she felt that she was really in the real world now.

“So may I ask?” Prince Manager said

The photo shoot has just ended and the staff was starting to pack up everything. Siwon was in sitting in his chair, resting for a bit before changing back into his normal clothes. Siwon looked up at prince manager who was standing next to him like a bodyguard.

Siwon didn't know what all that was about but he trusted that prince manager handled everything well.

“Who was she?” the older one asked

“누구(who)?” Siwon asked

“Do you even know what that call was about?”

“It's all taken care of, right?”

“Yeah but don't you want to know?”

Siwon put down his phone on his lap and looked at prince manager again who looked like he really wanted to discuss it. Prince manager looked around and saw that everyone was busy doing their own thing so it was unlikely that anyone would hear what he was about to say.

“That call earlier, it was the manager of Hyundai. He said someone came in asking to have items you bought exchanged” explained Prince Manager

“Something I bought? Siwon repeated in question form

“I honestly have no idea what was going on but I know how careful you are with your things so it's impossible for anyone to make a purchase using your name” he said

Siwon immediately knew who it was because the most recent purchase he made from that department store was Saera's shoes and before that he hasn't been to that store for years.

“....and what did you do?” the younger one asked

“I told them it was a misunderstanding so they let her go”

““Let her go"??” Siwon repeated

“Yeah, they kept her in that tiny room for a while and--- where are you going?”
