“What’s up?” Siwon asked casually as he took off his shoes in the foyer

Stella who has been staying over at his place just gestured for him to follow her to his living room. Siwon wasn’t sure what was going on but she looked serious.

He sat down on his white lounge chair and crossed his legs. He was waiting for her to say something because as far as he knew, they were doing well with their mending of their relationship.

She took a deep breath and looked straight at him. He couldn’t read her eyes so he had to ask again.

“Did I do something wrong?” he asked

“As part of this new reset, can we be honest with each other?” she asked

He nodded in agreement, still waiting for where this was all coming from.

“Were you and Saera dating?” she asked flat out

Siwon’s mind suddenly froze.

“What are you talking about?” he asked

“The receipt… It was dated last week” she said

Siwon wanted to come up with a lie to cover up the fact that Saera did spend the night there because telling her the truth would open Pandora’s Box. He did want to make things work with Stella and even though he just met Saera, there was just something about her that made him want to be closer to her.

“I… I just ran into her last week and I invited her over for dinner before she headed back, she lives far up close to the border” he explained “She must’ve dropped the receipt while I was showing her around. We’re just friends”

“You know what? Since we’re starting fresh, I believe you. I f you say you 2 are just friends, then you are” she said with a smile

Siwon made an internal sigh of relief. At least Stella wouldn’t be asking anymore questions now.

“Oh by the way, I got a call from L’Oreal in New York and they want me to start next week” she said, changing the topic

“So you’re leaving?” Siwon asked

“You know I’ve always wanted to work for them and this is a great opportunity” she explained

“I’m just so happy for you” Siwon said as he sat next to her on the couch and gave her a hug

After a few seconds, she let go and looked at him.

“I booked a flight for Friday…” she said

“Is there anything you want to do before you leave?” he asked

“Can we just hang out here?” she asked “I don’t know when I’ll be back so I just want to spend more time with you” she said with a halfhearted smile

Siwon nodded in agreement with a halfhearted smile as well.

“Don’t you want to see him again?” Eunkyung asked

“There’s no reason to” Saera said as she continued stocking the shelves

It’s been a few days since their encounter with Siwon and Eunkyung still wouldn’t shut up about it. She still couldn’t believe that she not only met a celebrity but she has also been to his house.

“Why aren’t you wearing the shoes he gave you?” her friend asked

“They’re just too fancy for work. I’m saving them for a special occasion” said Saera

“Excuse me; do you have the new Sulhwasoo snail skincare collection?”

  The two friends who had their back turned, looked at the customer who asked the question.

“Oh, Saera right? We met earlier this week” Stella said
