She knew she was short.

At 160 cm (okay maybe a little shorter), she couldn't disagree.

Once she realized that she stopped growing at fifteen, she admitted defeat.

She, Park Jimin, will stop growing and forever be short.

Being alive for twenty years already, she accepted that fact.

So, she didn’t understand why out of everyone she knew, her boyfriend would be the one to continuously remind her about her height.

“Are you being serious right now?” the short female pouted in frustration, hands on her hips. Her head tilted slightly upwards to glare at the tall male.

“When was I never serious?” her boyfriend asked, smiling sweetly or quite deviously as she saw it.

“Heejun Oppa, just give me the damn remote!”

The two stood in the middle of her living room, face to face. The male holding the remote in his hand and the female glaring in front of him. They had decided to take advantage of their day off and stay indoors to relax, but the decision seems to be creating the opposite effect for Jimin.

“I’m handing it to you right now.”

“Putting your hand up in the air is not handing me the remote,” Jimin retorted, getting quite frustrated by her boyfriend’s behavior; he was always the mischievous type.

Even though she was getting annoyed, her boyfriend couldn’t help but find her quite adorable. Seeing a small frustrated Jimin is actually a really cute sight. He can’t take her very seriously when he sees the way she pouts her face. Sometimes, she doesn’t seem to understand how cute she could be.

“You just gotta reach that’s all,” Heejun stated as if it wasn’t obvious enough.

Now, Jimin isn’t the type to get mad about this. She’s been teased for her height countless times by her male friends and sometimes female friends.

But, for god knows why, her boyfriend has been teasing her a lot recently, especially about her height.

The male only smirked. She saw how his perked lips curled even more. The female took a step forward, allowing their feet to be touching each other and bodies only centimeters away from another. She leaned against his chest while her arm wrapped itself around his waist. Using his body as an anchor, she tiptoed and tried to reach the remote he held up in the air. She used her free hand to pull Heejun’s arm down with all her might, but she didn’t seem to be strong enough since it was still barely in her reach.

“Come on Oppa!” she whined, still trying to reach the item.

Heejun only laughed at his girlfriend. “You could do it Jiminah; you’re almost there!”

Realizing this clearly wasn’t working, she decides a different tactic. She pursued her lips and cleared .  

“Oppa~” she tried using the best aegyo tone she could make up.

She swallowed an imaginary barf that was coming up .

She hates aegyo.

Her boyfriend on the other hand doesn’t.

The girl noticed how the smile on Heejun’s face grew wider and his eyes glinted with mischief. Once she saw that sparkle, she knew she messed up. She fell right into his trap.

“Oh, does our Jiminah want the remote?” the maknae of KNK asked in a tone that even his hyungs would never hear from him.

Even Jimin inwardly cringed but still nodded. Their gazes locked; she waited in nervous anticipation for what he will do next.

“Okay, give me a kiss then,” he said.

Jimin could’ve sworn she saw the devil in those brown eyes. Her cheeks burned and she couldn’t think of a proper or even sassy response to say towards her cheeky boyfriend.

“Are you serious?”

“Of course!”

She once again stared at her boyfriend of seven months in silent disbelief. The said male continue to grin at her, obviously enjoying the situation he set up. The next best thing than a frustrated Jimin is a flustered Jimin. He clearly had a goal and was getting closer to achieving it. Jimin bit her lip and groaned in defeat.

“Close your eyes then,” she quietly told him, her gaze moving down to his chest.

“Neh~” he responded.

With his eyes shut, Jimin stared at his handsome facial features and couldn’t help but feel more nervous. They’ve kissed countless times but she didn’t know why her heart was beating so fast.

Taking a deep breath in, she stood on her toes and tilted her head slightly. She leaned forward and their lips touched. Just when she was about to pull away, she feels herself being lifted up and feeling the strong arms of her boyfriend wrapped around her. This time, he leaned forward and their lips met once again. After a few seconds, the male leaned back for a second and let their lips part.

“Yah-” the female tried to complain but was interrupted by her boyfriend’s lips once again.

As they kissed, he spun her around and continued to pull her closer towards him. A giggle erupted onto her lips, allowing herself to go along with his agenda.

Once she felt the floor beneath her feet, the two loosen their embrace but continued to stare lovingly at each other. Heejun landed a last kiss on top of her head, earning him a slight nudge from the embarrassed girl.

“As promised,” he said, handing the remote to the girl.

She took it gratefully and made herself comfortable on the long couch against the wall. She switched the channel back to her favorite variety show, while Heejun sat beside her and placed on arm over her shoulder.

“You know,” Jimin sighed but held her gaze onto the TV, “you seriously need to stop teasing me about my height.”

“Okay, okay,” Heejun heeded to his girlfriend's request.

A smile broke from her lips, feeling happier since she didn’t need to argue any further.

“So what do you want to eat for dinner?” she asked.

“CHEESE KIMBAP~”

“YAH!”

For those who don’t understand the reference at the end, Heejun first met Jimin at a kimbap restaurant where he saw/heard her get excited over cheese kimbap. Heejun (and the other KNK members) teases her about this and imitates her on ASC. For actual reference please watch here @ 2:12.
