07. Passing
Pebble PathAfter that first day, Sungyeol started sitting with the kingkas every day, courtesy of Myungsoo. Eventually Sungyeol and Woohyun got more comfortable around each other and even exchanged a few words. Sungyeol got to know everyone more, getting along very well with Dongwoo and Sungjong. He also felt him and Myungsoo get closer as not only did they see each other at lunch time, but often at the clearing as well.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly which is always bad sign. Because it meant something was going to go wrong soon.
This invariably happened, one afternoon when Myungsoo got home and to his surprise saw that both his parents were home too. He was immediately on alert, wondering what they were doing here. Sure it was their home, but they were never even here.
Walking into the lounge room, Myungsoo saw his mother seated on the couch and his dad in a chair. He sat down in an empty couch and looked at his parents while crossing his arms.
“What is it?” Myungsoo muttered coldly.
“Is that the way to greet your parents Myungsoo?” Mr Kim said sternly.
Myungsoo only rolled his eyes. “Just get to the point.”
