21 Weeks

JongDae’s POV

I visited my friend, who is a doctor and participate on his wedding to sing a song for him and his wife; he was one of my none celebrity best friends and the few people I trust; I asked him a favor about Jin; and what he came up is to be Jin’s personal doctor for check up and recommend her in one of his colleagues as his cousin; to hide the fact that I’m somehow related to her and not to found of by the media and by the company; Good thing everything is still in secret with the help of my manager and members; I’m glad they are at my side when times like this

I was sitting across the table of EunJae to paid him a visit and thank him for all the help he does to me and to Jin, We are having a little chit-chat when his assistant nurse knocked on the door and told us Jin was outside

“Its not her check up today, right?” I asked the puzzled EunJae

“I knew that too. But why is she here, Faster, Hide there on the bed and close the curtains.” He said in panic as we heard another knock

I run as fast as I could and sit on the bed and immediately covered the curtains to hide myself and the door opens and I heard Jin’s warm greeting to him while EunJae tried to act at ease and told her to sat down on the chair I occupied a while ago while I’m watching them on the small gap between the curtain

“So what I can do for you, Jin?” He tried to act calm

“Ah, I went to see GaEul-ssi because I’m having contractions often.” She worriedly told EunJae the reason of her visit to her gynecologist

“How often? and How does it felt?” He further asked as he type on his laptop 

“Well, I don't know how many times but it happens a lot and the pain is in different level, Yesterday I was washing the dishes when I felt the pain on my tummy like I was punch on the gut, it was very painful that I cried and held on the counter because I was alone and when I collapse I knew no one would noticed so I took a good grip of myself to save my baby.” She said as I noticed how her voice is in so much pain remembering the incident

“I emailed GaEul-ssi and she answered that she handed you the result of your appointment with her today.” EunJae’s expression turn serious as I am still watching and listening to them behind the curtains

Jin opened her sling bag and got the paper that EunJae was talking and handed it to him politely and read the contents and let out a short sigh

“Jin-ssi? I want an honest answer, Araso?” EunJae asked to Jin which she nodded in response

“Do you eat on time?” He started his series of question

“Yes but just small amount.” She plainly answered

“How about sleep? Do you sleep well or on time?” He continued asking

She let out a weak smile before answering that she doesn’t

“Why?” EunJae’s voice is a more worried than before

“I have a lot of things on mind; to be honest, I feel scare for myself if I’m doing enough to keep the baby safe…” She paused before she continue

“And I feel lonely.” She finished as her eyes are glistening trying to keep her tears away

“Have you told it to JongDae; the things on your mind and how you felt?” EunJae still asked even he knew the answer

“No, He has a lot of things to prioritize and I don’t want to add another burden on his shoulder and him thinking that I am demanding for more or what because him helping me makes my baby safe, doing it for the baby is enough, maybe the feelings I have is part of pregnancy.” She tried to cheer up herself and the smile she is making a forceful one made me feel guilty for treating her on a wrong way
