The black sheets of silk glided against the matching robe that clung hopelessly against the fine form of the king. His dark robes shimmered a hue of red and purple from the tower lights that crept through the window pane. "Gates." Blinking rapidly, she remained frozen trying to piece together the small fragments of her memory she had left, but nothing was connecting for her.The crackling of the hearth made her sit up, panicked, as she struggled desperately to search the gigantic room. She realized she was sitting upon the biggest bed she had ever laid eyes on.The bed swallowed her up in sheets of gold and sapphire due to its size. Four thick wooden posts enclosed her as their semi-transparent draperies kept her trapped in a cage of shimmery gold.Her eyes located the hearth that burned with a passionate fire that lit up the dim room alongside the wall lit candles. was left agape as she surveyed the full furnished decor of the room.The chamber was a dream room; It was filled with elegant artworks, The largest wardrove and vanity stretched across the side adjacent to the bed filled with exotic haircombs and perfumes, the cracks of the sliding door revealed what looked to be a living space along with another hearth to keep the chamber cozy with a couch and 2 chair's directly infront.Fur like throws laid against the couch and chair handles to match the rug. Adalei then noticed doors; one nestled to the left and a double set directly in the middle of the wall infront of her.Instinctively, she headed towards the doors only to hesistate a few inches away from the doors grasp. She had just awoken in a place unknown to her and she didn’t know what layed beyond those heavy wooden doors.Perhaps it was best if she stayed in the bedchambers, but how long must she wait until someone found her.The room had to belong to someone. Shaking hands fumbled onto the circular ring as she mustered the strength to pull.The doors remained in their with no sign of moving.From the outside perspective, It would seem as if the doors were dragging her and not the opposite.She huffed out a breathe as she let go off the unworldly heavy doors rubbing at the calisus forming along her hands. She gripped it against pulling hard before the doors flung open releasing a gush of air through the room. She was flung out into a hallway that was filled with banners of blues and golds, torches were lit along the side of the gray stone walls, grand chandeliers of hundreds of candles hung high upon the pillars. The hallways was covered in a long ornamental rug that stretch out all the middle.Her eyes followed its trail until she noticed the endless corridors and doors that led down each side. Hundreds of halls and rooms, how would she ever beable to find someone in a place so big, she pondered.She slowly backed away into the bed chambers turning to think.
