“So this where Kira lived until her parents died?” Jessica asked as she looked around and only saw a mansion surrounded by forest,

Lin nodded, “Yeah. We’re safe here.”,

“How can you be so sure?” Krystal asked,

Lin then pointed to one of the gate pillars, “You see that pillar there?” she asked and everyone looked and nodded, “On those are rune markings from an angel.”,

“What?!” Tiffany screamed and giggled when she saw Lin rubbing her ear,

“Yeah. When we were kids we tried to touch them but got shocked by little bit of electric, at first we thought it was just something our aunt wanted but now we know. The angel created those runes so that that man can’t come in here. But too bad he found another way to kill them.” Lin looked down sadden,

Tiffany backed hugged Lin and kissed her cheek, “Don’t worry. It will be over soon.”,

Krystal nodded, “I hope so. I really want to be with Kira again.”,

“You mean in bed with her.” Lin grinned,

“Yah! No! I mean I want to be married to her! You !” Krystal yelled as she blushed making both Lin and Tiffany laughed at her.

Jessica however was the only one who kept looking at the runes. She can’t help but feel some familiarity to it. She felt drawn to it like she was the one who drew them.

Jessica trance was broken when she heard Lin say, “Come on Jess! Let’s get inside. Ki said that the place may be watched since they can’t come in.”,

Jessica nodded and was about to enter the mansion but turned around when she heard something move. Looking around she couldn’t see anything but trees.

Jessica then was about to turn around when she saw a shadow and felt frighten.

“Lin! Quick!” Jessica call out and Lin came out with Tiffany and Krystal,

“What?! What’s wrong?!” Lin looked at Jessica concerned,

“There! I saw a shadow over there!” Jessica pointed and Lin turned to see where she pointed and saw nothing.

“I don’t see anything.” Tiffany mumbled and Krystal nodded, “Maybe it’s your imagination Jess.”,

“No. I know I saw someone there.” Jessica argued,

“Then we better be on guard. Don’t not leave the grounds. As long as we are here, we safe. No one is to go near those gates and runes. Okay?” Lin instructed and everyone nodded.

Everyone then went inside and Jessica’s turned to look at the shadow and thought she saw it grinning at her. Quickly she ran in and shut the door.

Jessica then wished that Ki and Kira would end this soon. She wished that they both would come back safely to them and that everything will work out.

Ki walked into the dead of the night as she passed building by building. To her this was normal, she knew that no one dared to disturb her when she was at her most high.

Soon Ki stood in front of an old factory and smirked.

‘So this is what that old house has turned into huh.’

‘Looks like your body is here but be careful. I can feel something else here too.’

Ki nodded as she opened the rusted door and scanned the room. Empty as she sensed.

Slowly, Ki walked through the dusty factory and scanned every bit of it. She then saw an old door labelled ‘Storage Room’.

‘In here huh.’

‘Seems to be.’

Ki placed her palm on the door and felt her body but she felt uncomfortable when she felt only faint presence of it.

Pulling the door opened, Ki stepped in and took three steps before the door closed in on her.

Ki then smirked, “I see that your here to avenge your son. Kang.”,

Jun fathers stepped out from the shadow and smiled at Ki, “No. But thank you. He tried to kill me so many years ago. That’s why I changed my name to Park.”,

Ki smiled, “I knew you were alive. Too bad we didn’t meet that night at the club. It was your favourite hunting ground. And I can understand why.”,

Kang laughed, “Yes it was. But I knew my son would be checking on it be sure I was dead so I had to play it safe. How were they? As good as they get?”,

Ki shrugged, “I don’t care for it. But what I do care is for your life. After all you are the one who did this to me and Kira. This very girl who you murdered for your own end.”,

“Now now. Let’s not be hasty. Granted it was foolish for me to want your power and accomplish what my ancestor could not. But you should hold no grudge against me. After all if I hadn’t done it. You wouldn’t be free.” Kang tried to reason,

Ki the smirked, “Kang. You’re part demon now so you should know. That reasoning with us is useless especially when we want you dead!”,

“Then how about your body?” Kang said as he stood by a machine and held a lever,

Ki froze and her eyes widen while Kang laughed at her, “I knew that you would come for me so I decided to find your body and here it was all these years. Surprisingly, inside this very machine too. You know what this does don’t you? It burns everything in it.”,

Ki gritted her teeth as she glared at the man who was laughing at her, “So shall we have some fun instead? I think you should entertain them since I ran out of stuff to keep them company with.” Kang pointed up and Ki looked up to see so many tricksters eating human bodies.

‘It’s too late isn’t it?’

‘Yes. They are dead and their souls devoured. I can’t save them.’

‘Then use my soul and kill him and them. Make him look in our eyes and suffer our suffering.’

Ki smiled, “You don’t have to tell me twice.”,

Ki charged forward and sure enough the tricksters launched themselves at her. It was useless for them against Ki cause as soon as they were close enough, she them all into the blackness.

Kang gritted his teeth and yelled, “Kill her!!!”,

Kang stood froze as he saw all his tricksters vanishing as Ki walked towards him.

“You have forgotten who I am and what I am. These are nothing but a child’s play for me.” Ki smirked,

Kang stood next to the machine as held the lever that would turn it on, “One more step and I will burn your body!”,

Ki stopped and stared at Kang hand that held the lever. She then smiled as her turned her head to stare deep into Kang’s eyes.

‘Jessica.’

‘Jessica…’

Jessica woke up with a slight headache. Her eyes blurred as the sun light shined through her room, blinding her.

Jessica covered her eyes with her arm and took a deep breath. She tried to remember what she dreamt the night before but nothing came back.

Knock knock.

“Jessie?” Tiffany called out as she opened the door and peeked in and saw her friend awake and smiled, “Wow! I’m surprised to see you awake.”,

Jessica rolled her eyes at her bestfriend and through the covers off as she got out of bed, “Whatever.”,

Tiffany giggled, “Breakfast is ready.”,

Jessica nodded while grabbing a new change of clothes and headed to the bathroom, “Okay. I’ll meet you downstairs.”.

Jessica took a long warm shower, she needed to relax after staying all night looking out the window to see the same shadow looking up at her.

‘What is that?’ Jessica thought to herself,

After drying herself and putting on her clean clothes, Jessica went to the sink to brush her teeth. Jessica stared at herself in the mirror like she always did when she was a girl.

‘Jessica’

Jessica jumped when she heard someone call her but saw no one around. Shaking her head, Jessica spat the toothpaste out and washed her face.

After drying her face, Jessica continued to stare at the mirror again.

‘Jessica’

Jessica eyes tighten as she continued to stare at the mirror while moving closer to it.

‘Jessica’

Jessica was now pressing her body against the sink while leaning in towards the mirror. She then raised her hand and held out to touch the mirror.

‘Jessica’

Jessica stared into her own eyes through the mirror as her finger touched the mirror.

‘Sooyeon’

Jessica’s eyes widen and her mind went blank.

Ki smiled at the Kang as he struggled in her grip. She enjoyed the sight as Kang tried to free himself while cursing her.

“Release me! You fiend!” Kang yelled,

“I would speak carefully. After all you failed yet again. I did warn you didn’t I? That I will return with vengeance and you and every one of your line will suffer.” Ki smirked,

Kang’s eyes widen as Ki stared deep into his, soon every sin he had committed, every crime he had done flashed into his mind.

Ki smiled when she heard Kang screamed and through his bloody body aside.

‘I guess he didn’t know as much as he thought he did.’

‘Is your soul alright?’

‘Don’t worry. Having part of your body now lessens your need for my soul. But we still need to find the other half of your body.’

 ‘I think I know where it is thanks to half of my body returning.’

‘Hurry. I can tell that their close and they almost have what they need.’

Ki’s eyes flashed and everything in the factory started to shake and break. Ki left the building and smiled when she heard the factory explode. She then went into an alley and faded into the shadows.

“Man it’s boring!” Krystal complained as she sat on the couch while flipping through the channels for something to watch,

Lin and Tiffany were on the other couch snuggling each other while Lin would occasionally give Tiffany a peck.

“Could you both not?” Krystal eyed them with disgust,

“You’re just jealous!” Lin stuck out her tongue,

Krystal rolled her eyes, “Says the girl who bed over 300 girls a year.”,

“WHAT?!” Tiffany yelled and glared at Lin,

“That was all long before you! I swear I haven’t been with anyone in three long damn years!” Lin held up her hand and crossed her heart.

Krystal fell back on the couch as she burst out laughing at the couple. Krystal had grew up watching Lin with a different girl everytime she saw her. It all stopped after they found Kira at the gym.

Krystal thought Lin would never love or be with anyone ever again but was shocked when Lin came home one morning with a big smile plastered on her face and red lipstick on her cheek.

Krystal had asked Lin what happened and whose lipstick that was but Lin just smiled more and went to her room. Krystal’s questions were answered when she and Kira had bumped into Lin and Tiffany while they were making out in a park near Tiffany’s school.

Just then Jessica came downstairs ignoring all the shouts, beating and laughter coming from the three and headed straight to the front door.

“A.. Jessica? Are you alright?” Krystal looked worriedly over Jessica,

When Jessica didn’t respond and walked out the front door, Lin got up and ran out to catch her while Krystal and Tiffany quickly followed.

“Jessica! What are you doing?! Stop!” Lin yelled as she ran to Jessica who stood in front of the gates.

Lin’s eyes widen when Jessica touched the runes and was pushed back by a force that blew passed her.

“Jessie! Why?!” Tiffany screamed then froze when she saw Jessica looking at them.

“Cause this is the only way.”
