Krystal stood by her room window while looking out to the moon. After meeting Kira again, she couldn’t help but remember all those times they had together.

She felt so ashamed of herself. She knew that she shouldn’t have believed what the police said about Kira but with everything right before her eyes she couldn’t help but believe them.

“Nice night. Just like how we use to enjoy them.” A voice said,

Krystal jumped and turned around to see Kira sitting on her bed while looking at her sadly.

“I remember you use to beg me to stay the night. I remember everything how loved I felt with you in my arms on this bed. It’s funny that I can remember all of this but can’t feel them anymore.” Kira smiled sadly,

Krystal bit her lower lip as her tears started to fall. She remembered everything Kira said but what’s more, she could feel them. She could feel her body heating up as her memory replayed.

Kira stood up and walked over to Krystal before standing in front of her. Slowly, Kira lifted her hand up and touch the tear that fell.

“So warm. Unlike me. Who is now nothing but dead and alive.” Kira said bitterly,

“I didn’t make a deal with the devil. Nor have I ever made one. I made a deal with an angel.” Kira said,

“An angel?” Krystal was now surprised,

Kira nodded, “An angel. She said that she will give me a chance to find out why this happened to me in return I find her other half. The person who did this to me seal a demon within me cause he couldn’t control the demon. No living soul can only the dead.”,

“What?” Krystal was now surprised,

“The man who murdered me wanted to use me as a vessel to control the demon he managed to capture. The angel told that he was once a man of god but came to fear death. So to expend his life he summoned a demon to make a deal since the devil he knew he can never trust. The demon granted his wish but in exchange if he split the angel in half. Taking her spirit and trapping it in a body of a human.” Kira explained,

“So the angel brought you back to find her spirit and to find the man who did this to you?” Krystal asked,

Kira nodded, “Yes. She knew the demon was seal inside of me. She offered to send it back to hell but I told her to let me keep it so that I may use it on him. I want to make him suffer for doing this to me.”,

“But why you?! What does it have against you?!” Krystal cried more,

Kira sighed as she caressed the girl’s cheek, “I do not know. That’s why I’m hunting him. I know he is here in Korea. He is looking for the spirit he lost. Shh... Don’t cry. I may not be human but I still hate to see you cry.”,

Krystal hugged Kira and buried her face into her chest wetting Kira’s shirt. Kira held her the girl.

“You have no idea how long three years in the dark was to me. How painful it was to lay there and think that I was not wanted by heaven or hell.” Kira whispered,

Krystal lifted her head up to look at Kira and saw how much pain she was in, “You have no idea how hurt I was when I found out what you all thought of me. Especially you. When I saw you in Rin’s arms. I knew that if I still had my heart it would break and never be fixed.”,

“Then let me fix you now.” Krystal said before kissing Kira.

Kira allowed the girl to slip her tongue into . Krystal shivered at the cold she felt. She knew that Kira was now cold instead of the warm she felt in the past.

Not caring, Krystal guided Kira to her bed and pushed Kira to sit on it while she straddled onto Kira’s lap never breaking their kiss.

“Rin will be hurt by this.” Kira managed to say when Krystal broke the kiss to on her neck,

Krystal pulled out and cupped Kira’s cheeks and smiled, “Rin and me aren’t together. Even after she confessed to me and asked me, I always said no. Cause deep down, I knew I only loved you. I love you. Even now. Please forgive me for doubting you?”,

Kira wiped the tear the fall and kissed the crying girl before saying, “I do. I still love you. And I know even without my heart and soul, I will always love you.”.

Kira crashed her lips on Krystal and did not wait to lay the girl onto the bed and hover over her.

Krystal shivered when she felt Kira’s cold hands trace her stomach under her clothes, making its way up to her chest.

Krystal lifted her back when she felt Kira’s hands go under and unstrapped her bra. Kira didn’t waste any time taking the girl shirt and bra off as her own before kissing her again.

Krystal knew that she shouldn’t be doing this. But now she didn’t care because one her Kira was back, two she finally had the answers she had searching for and three her love for Kira never died.

Jessica was walking to the shops. It had been two weeks since she saw Kira but she kept in contact with Lin and Rin and saw Sunny in school everyday.

They kept her updated and told her everything they found out.

It was a little over noon when Jessica was heading back to her dorms was bags filled with groceries.

She was walking pass an alley when a group of boys came out and whistled at her.

“Hey! You’re Jessica Jung! From year 3!” The boy in front of her smirked,

Glaring at them, Jessica was about to walk around them she was held back by a hold on her wrist, “Hey! Where you going?! We just want to be your friends! Right boys?!”,

“Yeah! Hang with us! Stay! You’re hot!” Was all Jessica could hear,

“Let go of me!” Jessica jerked her hand out of the boy’s hold and stepped back,

“Wow! She’s just how I like them!” One of the boys said as they move towards her,

Jessica backed away afraid and was about to make a run for it when one of the boys grabbed her and held her while the others laughed and took her shopping bags away.

“Let go of me! Let me go!” Jessica screamed as she kicked around to try and break free,

Another one the boys laughed at her as she held her chin to make her look at him, “You’re so hot.” He smirked,

“Why is it everytime I see you are either being or questioned by someone?” a voice asked and everyone turned to where the voice came from,

Jessica’s eyes widen when she saw Kira there smiling at her, “I see that you are as popular as I was but unlike you I know how to fight my way out of this.”,

“Who the heck are you?!” shouted one of the boys,

“Wait! Isn’t she the one from the picture?!” the other asked,

“What picture?”,

“The one in school! She was one of the sports champions!”,

“What?!” The boy was shocked then turned to look at Kira.

Kira smiled when she saw his eyes widen, “I see you attend the same college I once did. Then you should know that such behaviour is forbidden. Sunny won’t be pleased at you and me for what I’m going to do to you. But since I’m in such a generous mood I’ll let you off this once if you let her go.”,

Jessica’s eyes widen when she heard Kira say this. She heard Lin say that Kira would usually kill anyone who went up against her.

“You got to be kidding me!” Scoffed one of the boys,

“No. I’m actually not happy that you made me lose my target but I’m willing to let you all off so what’s it going to be?” Kira smiled,

The boy pretended to think before he grabbed a bottled and smashed it on Kira’s head while yelling, “This!”.

Kira’s head lowered but she still stood up straight much to the boys surprised. When she lifted up her head, she cracked her neck, “Ugh. That was refreshing. My turn then.”.

It didn’t take more than two minutes before all three boys were on the ground beaten up while Kira stood above them smirking.

“Next time, I won’t be so generous. Come on.” Kira said before grabbing Jessica’s arm and her groceries and pulled her away.

Jessica kept quiet as Kira pulled her to an apartment. She watched Kira toss her jacket on the couch as she made her way to the kitchen and washed her face.

Jessica’s eyes widen when she saw blood flowing down Kira’s side forehead down to her cheeks and dripping onto the sink.

“Oh my god!” Jessica quickly got a cloth and started to wipe away the blood.

Kira stood still, surprised Jessica was tending to her. Gently, Kira pushed Jessica’s hand away, “I’m fine. I don’t feel pain though my body still bleed. This is what remains of my blood. Cold isn’t it?”,

Jessica slapped Kira’s arm and glared at her, “I don’t care! Now you sit down while I clean this up!”,

Kira followed Jessica’s orders and sat on one of the kitchen stools by the counter and let Jessica clean her wound.

It amuses Kira when she saw Jessica furrowed her eyebrows as she concentrated on her wound. ‘What a funny girl. She is somewhat like Krystal’ Kira thought to herself.

The thought of Krystal made Kira smile as she remember what they did yesterday before Kira got up saying that she needed to follow a lead.

Though Krystal didn’t want Kira to go she allowed her to leave under a promise that Kira wouldn’t kill anyone else expect the man who did this to her.

Kira didn’t want to make such a promise cause of the demon inside of her but promised cause she loved the girl too much to go against her.

“There!” Jessica smiled when she saw she was done and took a bandaid out to place it over the cut.

Kira touched the bandaid and smiled at the blonde, “Thank you doctor Jung.”,

Jessica smiled at Kira, “You’re welcome miss. Now go lay down and don’t do anything until it gets better.”,

Kira laughed that Jessica actually played along with her, “I like you. You’re one funny girl.”,

Jessica rolled her eyes at Kira, “Of course I am! I’m the Jessica Jung!”,

“Who?” Kira asked as she had her elbows on the counter and her chin in her palms with her eyebrow raised,

Jessica glared at Kira, “Don’t tell you you’ve never heard of me?”,

Kira shook her head, “Been under the earth for three years sorry.”,

Jessica’s eyes widen. She had forgotten about that. For the past five minutes she felt like she was Kira the human.

“You’ve never heard of Jung enterprise?” Jessica asked,

Kira looked up to the ceiling then back at Jessica, “You mean the corporation that deals with retail line of work?”,

Jessica smiled and nodded. Kira chuckled at the girl’s cute acts, “Yes. I’ve heard of your family’s business but not you their daughter. When I ran my family’s company I tend to keep personal and business separated.”,

Jessica’s eyes widen, “You ran your parent’s company?!”,

Kira nodded, “I know. Yeah, I did. I didn’t trust anyone to do it so I juggled it with my studies. Surprisingly it paid off.”,

“So who runs it now?” Jessica wondered,

Kira smiled a sweet smile that Jessica couldn’t believe, “I’ll show you later.”,

“So how are you able to get this apartment and all?” Jessica finally realized,

Kira chuckled, “Though I died. Everything I owned was still left. Even my money. So if you thought I killed someone and took this place then you really think badly of me.”,

“I never thought of such thing!” Jessica defended while Kira burst out laughing,

“Okay! You didn’t. Sorry. It’s the demon in me. It makes me think badly of everyone around me.” Kira smiled,

Jessica couldn’t help want to know, “Can you tell me what happened?”,

Kira looked at Jessica’s eyes and saw nothing but sympathy for her. She could feel Jessica feeling sorry for her.

Kira sighed, “Then I guess you’re staying for dinner. Before I tell you the truth, come with me. I want to show you something.”.

Jessica was surprised to see that Kira had brought her to a park and was sitting on a bench watching the kids play.

Jessica asked Kira why she brought her here but Kira told her to wait a bit.

It was when the clock in the park struck six when Jessica’s eyes widen when she saw someone who looked exactly like Kira.

Kira smiled when she saw the girl who looked like her pick up a boy and hugged him before kissing him then walking away.

“Who was that?!” Jessica was now confused,

Kira smiled bitterly, “That is me. What I would have been if I hadn’t died.”,

Jessica’s eyes widen as she looked at Kira. Kira burst out laughed when she saw the girls face, “Sorry! No! That’s Karin. My lost twin sister.”,

“WHAT?!!” Jessica screamed and Kira covered her ears,

“Yes. When my parents had us they were on the road to bankruptcy and dept. They couldn’t afford to have a child let alone twins. So when a couple approached them at the hospital saying they wanted to adopt Karin, they gave her away.” Kira explained,

Jessica gave a sad smile when she heard Kira say, “And a good thing they did or else she would be suffering like I am.”,

Jessica looked down to her palms, “You gave your family’s company to her didn’t you?”,

Kira nodded, “I left a will saying that she was to have everything and a note for her. When I came out of the grave I was surprised to see her notes to me under the dirt. Letters of how much she wanted to know us, how thankful we left her something of ours. How much she wanted me to meet her family. I envy her. Her life. But I will never wish to switch places with her. I would rather suffer this all over again than let her take my place.”,

Jessica smiled at Kira. She knew deep down Kira was still human with her heart though she said she doesn’t have a heart anymore but Jessica knew otherwise.

“I bet she would love to meet you now.” Jessica said as she looked out to the view and saw the sun setting.

Kira chuckled at the idea, “She will scream and curse me if she saw me now. I don’t blame her. I am a demon. Watching her and my nephew from afar is good enough for me. My only wish is to end this before he finds out about her and her son.”,

Jessica nodded, “I’m sure we’ll find out truth before then.”.

Kira smiled at Jessica before taking her hand and lead her back to her apartment.

Kira wanted to cook dinner but Jessica made her sit and watch saying that she wanted to cook as thank you for saving her again.

“You know you’re the second person who bosses me around. Krystal is the first one who I would listen to no matter what.” Kira joked,

Jessica giggled, “How did you two meet? She’s about five years younger than you.”,

Kira smiled at this, “Now that is a very long story.”,

“Well I got all night. Tomorrow’s Saturday so no school.” Jessica reasoned,

Kira chuckled and shook her head, “Okay. I guess it has to start with me going to a meeting five years after my parents died. Krystal has the same surname as you Jung. Her father was my father’s bestfriend. He invited me to his house to meet his wife and daughter which I accepted.”,

“I see where this is going. Love at first sight!” Jessica giggled at the thought,

Kira laughed and shook her head, “No more like hate at first sight. Krystal and I didn’t get along at all. Me being fifteen and the owner of my parents company, I was use to people paying respect. She really got on my nerves. The way she vexes me and sasses me. I really never had a problem like this before.”,

Jessica laughed as she laid the table, “She must have done something to change your hate to love.”,

Kira grinned, “More like I did something to change hers. I spend most of my time with her father because he was one of the only people I trusted so I was over her place a lot. When she was thirteen, she was being harassed by a boy named Minho at her school. I was asked to pick her up for her father which I did sometimes when I was free to.”,

“Let me guess. You played hero and became her white knight?” Jessica grinned,

Kira laughed, “No. She punched me for kicking the boy in the groined. Apparently he was her crush and that she was ready for that kiss.”,

Jessica’s eyes widen and jaw dropped, “What?! When did you guys get together then?!”,

“I’m getting there.” Kira said while smiling, she was amused by how impatient Jessica was getting, “While driving her father called and asked me to let her stay with for the night because he and his wife wouldn’t be home. Me being the nice person I am, said yes and took her home. I was use to her coming over so she had already had her own room here in my apartment. Like usual she would run to her room and lock it.”,

Jessica shook her head but let Kira continue, “That night, I don’t know why but I cooked her favourite foods. She loved to eat beef, lots of it so the smell made her come out of her room. We ate in silence; we had nothing to say to each other. We both knew what would happened if we started talking. Surprisingly when we finished she offered to do the dishes.”,

“Surprisingly?” Jessica tilted her head,

Kira grinned and nodded, “She is her parents princess so she never had to do chores.”,

‘O’ Jessica mouthed and Kira went on, “I went to the living to try and finish off what work I could. I was too into my work that I didn’t notice that she was done and was sitting beside me. Only when she wrapped her arms around me and buried her face in my back that I realised she was there. I panicked like anyone would then asked her what was wrong.”,

“She told you she loved you since you met?” Jessica guessed and Kira smiled,

Nodding, Kira chuckled a bit, “Something like that. She said she hated it that I was always far away from her. She hated it when people would flirt and talk to me. She hated it when I thought of her just as a child. Of all the list of hates she gave me, in the end she cried that she loved me and didn’t want to lose me.”,

Jessica shook her head at the drama she was hearing.

“It was then I realized that I too loved her when I first saw her but I didn’t think much of it. I confessed to her about how I felt and we agreed to date. After our first date we shared out first kiss. Then after three months we made love. Since then we had been together until my last year in college when I asked her to marry me.” Kira smiled when she saw Jessica’s eyes widen,

“Shocking right? A twenty year old asking a fifteen year old to marry her. Her parents were happy, they said that they knew when we first met that we would be together. So we decided when she reached eighteen that we will have our wedding. Things would have worked until my murder happen.” Kira smiled bitterly,

Jessica looked down and played with her food, “What happened?”,

Kira smirked, “Let’s just say that my murderer is a man who wanted to play god. He summoned a demon to live forever but knew he couldn’t control the demon so he bribed the boy I went to the dance to bring to me the gym so that he could use us as tools to bind the demon. He originally intended me to be the sacrifice and the boy the vessel but the demon managed to change the control of the ritual he used.”,

Jessica bit her lower lip trying to understand what Kira was telling her.

Kira smiled, “You can guess what happened after. He planted those things to make people think I was into witchcraft and ran. Since it didn’t go his way, he knew that I would have free will to go against him. I would have dug myself out sooner but I needed to be sure I could control the demon inside me.”

“But why did you say you made a deal with the devil?” Jessica couldn’t help but ask,

Kira laughed, “I can’t stress enough that I never said I made a deal with the devil. I said I never made a first deal with the devil. I made a deal with an angel.”,

“An angel?!” Jessica was shocked now,

Kira nodded, “After I dug out, I met an angel who was trapped on earth because the very same man had summoned her and taken her spirit. I made a deal with her that I would find and return her spirit in exchange I would have my heart and soul back. She gave me the strength to resist the demons urges and power to control it, most of the time.”,

“Most of the time?” Jessica raised her eyebrow,

Kira sighed, “That night at the club, what I did to those thugs was because I couldn’t control the demon within. It feeds on sins of human’s. Normally it would just take their negative energy but there are times when it becomes too powerful for me to contain and take their souls as food. What surprises me was that it spared you.”,

“What do you mean by it spared me?” Jessica was now afraid,

Kira leaned in the table to let Jessica have a closer look, “Look at me properly and try to see what’s different now.”,

Jessica furrowed her eyebrows as she tried to see anything different with Kira. She was about to give when she saw that Kira’s red eyes pupils were now normal like human’s, “Your eyes!”,

Kira smiled and leaned back, “Yes. That’s the only way to know whether I have control over it or it has control over me. It can’t separate itself from me cause the man had taken its body away and sealed it somewhere I can’t sense unless I’m close by.”,

Jessica looked at Kira worriedly, “So you intend to free the demon?”,

Kira smiled and nodded, “It’s not as bad as you read about it. This demon just so happens to like the human world that it wanted to live freely here. Being with it for three years, I learned a lot about the world and its kin. It’s hard to explain but it doesn’t like it when it has to feed. It hates itself when it does but it’s like us. We have to eat to survive and so does it.”,

Jessica didn’t know why but her body suddenly leaned in and she caressed Kira’s cheek, “I hope you both sort this out soon.”,

Kira’s eyes widen as she took Jessica’s hand and kissed it before leaning in to kiss Jessica on the lips. It was meant to be a small kiss but it turned into a passionate one.

Jessica soon found herself standing with Kira’s arms around her while still sitting on the stool. She felt lightheaded. Dizzy. She couldn’t think but her mind went blank and she collapsed on Kira.

Kira stood up and held the girl close. Her eyes widen then tighten. She then glared into the air and growled, “So that’s why! I’ll make you suffer for this as well!”.
