“What the heck?!!!” Both Jessica and Ki heard a voice yelled and broke their kiss to look up to see a shocked Tiffany and Lin but a glaring Krystal.

Ki got off Jessica and stood near her window and smiled at the three, “Greetings. Humans.”,

Both Lin’s and Tiffany’s jaw dropped when they heard Ki voice but Krystal’s eyes widen.

“What have you done to Kira?!” Lin demanded,

Ki however just smiled, “Nothing. She’s still in here.” Ki answered as she pointed to her chest, “But weak. That’s why she is... Asleep. You can say. Me on the other hand am tired of being seeing through Kira’s eyes.”,

Lin nodded, “So what does this have to do with you making out with Jessica on her bed?”,

Jessica blushed and lowered her head at this while Ki laughed, “Absolutely nothing. I take full responsibility for this action. Kira had nothing to do with this except scream in our mind to stop or else Krystal will kill her. Haha! Humans are so interesting!”,

Krystal glared at Ki when she heard this, “That still doesn’t mean you can use Kira’s body to kiss someone else knowing that she is mine! Why don’t you both switch back then?!”,

Ki smiled at the jealous girl, “Unfortunately. That is impossible now.”,

“Impossible?! Why?!” Lin eyes widen,

Ki smiled as she held up her hands, “Don’t worry. Kira is still here. Just that the other night she took on so much damage that I had to heal but in order to I had to use bits of her soul temporally. Kira is just regenerating her soul.”,

“What?! Wait! Start from the top! You are not Kira, Lin’s cousin?” Tiffany asked confusingly,

“Nope.” Ki shook her head,

“You are the demon inside of Kira?”,

Ki smiled and nodded, “The name is Ki. Well that was my human name when I was still human.”,

“Aa... This is confusing but nevermind that. So you are now using Kira’s body because her soul is used up?” Tiffany groaned and she rubbed her head,

“You can say that. An easier way of looking at it is like your soul is your blood. Since Kira is not dead but not living either she still had blood in her body therefore she still has a soul. And like blood her soul can regenerate or reproduce again.” Ki explained,

‘O’ Lin mouthed and nodded,

“But what does that have to do with you kissing Jessica on her bed?!” Krystal demanded,

“The same as you and Kira do on your beds.” Ki teased and Krystal went red

And Lin burst out laughing, “Oh my! She got you there!”,

“Not as much as you Lin. I’m shocked that the player is now whipped. From all the memories I see in Kira about you is all about this girl that girl you met and took to bed.” Ki grinned,

Lin froze as she felt shivers down her spine and it wasn’t from Ki. Turning slowly, Lin jumped when she saw Tiffany looking at her like she was dead meat.

“Oh! How many were there huh?” Tiffany smirked,

“I lost count. It was almost everyday that Kira caught Lin making out with a girl and it was a different girl everytime.” Ki answered for Lin,

“Baby! That was all before I met you! I swear I haven’t been with anyone since what happened to Kira!” Lin quickly said,

Tiffany then sighed and shook her head, “Okay fine! But no kisses for a week!”,

“What?! No! Babe!” Lin whined as she followed Tiffany out of the room.

Ki burst out laughing at the duo then calmed herself down and looked at Krystal, “I understand how you are feeling. And I agree. I will not do such thing with Kira’s body again. But I can’t guaranty it though.”  

“And why is that?” Krystal glared and crossed her arms,

Ki then smiled, “Cause like you humans, I have urges too. But if we find my body we can solve this easy.”,

“Fine!” Krystal huffed before storming out of the room.

Ki then smiled at Jessica who kept quiet the hold time. She then stood beside the girl and caressed her cheek to gain her attention and smiled when she did.

“Don’t mind her. She is still eighteen after all.” Ki reassured,

“But what she said is true. I mean we shouldn’t even be kissing.” Jessica looked down and Ki held her chin and gently lifted her to look up,

“I know. It was my fault. Sigh.. I.. can’t tell you why I kissed you when you know I love my angel but wait. Your answers will come soon. For now, let’s just look for that body of mine.” Ki smiled and Jessica nodded.

When Ki and Jessica came out of the room, they saw Lin in the couch with a worried expression as she held her phone to her ear while Tiffany was looking at Lin concerned.

“What’s wrong?” Jessica asked as she walked to the couch,

Krystal looked at Jessica was a worried expression, “It’s Rin. We can’t get in touch with her.”,

“Damn!” Lin yelled as she threw her phone across the room in frustration while Tiffany rubbed her arm to calm the girl down,

“How long has it been since you last seen her?” Ki asked while staring at Lin,

Lin looked to Ki and answered, “Only a few hours but she always tells me where she is. After her heart incident I made her promise to let me know where she is every hour.”,

Ki tightened her eyes on Lin and walked up to the girl, “Do you have anything of Rin’s with you now?”,

“What?” Lin looked at Ki confused,

“Do you have anything that Rin has held recently with you now?” Ki asked again,

Lin put her hands into her pockets and took out a wallet, “It’s Rin’s. She asked me to hold on to it but forgotten about it when she went out to look for you....” Lin’s eyes widen when she realized why her sister didn’t reply her.

Ki held the wallet close to her nose and sniffed it. She then closed her eyes and stay still for a few moments.

Everyone one in the room kept quiet and still except for Krystal who stood next to Ki and held her hand. She knew that it wasn’t Kira now but she still needed to hold onto Kira’s hands.

Ki then opened her eyes, “I know where she is.”,

“How?!” Tiffany asked,

Ki smiled at the girl, “Demon. Remember. I’ll go while you wait here.”,

“No way! But she’s my sister and I’m coming with!” Lin declared and soon all of them found themselves in Lin’s car in front of an office building.

“Are you sure Rin is in there?” Tiffany asked as she looked at the building,

Ki nodded, “Don’t be fooled by it looks. There are seals in that building to prevent me from entering.”,

“So how are we going to get to Rin?” Krystal looked at Ki,

Ki smiled at the girl, “Sadly for them that they didn’t know that the seals only work on full demons. Since I am in a humans body I can still enter it.”,

“Great! Let’s go!” Lin smiled and got out of the car,

“I thought we agreed that you humans will wait in the car?” Ki eyes widen

Krystal smiled and patted her cheeks, “You should be able to know that both Lin and I wouldn’t sit this out. After all the memories you have of us now.”,

Ki scowled at the girl then sighed. She knew it was useless to argue with her. ‘What do you see in her Kira?’

‘The same as what you see in your angel.’

Lin opened the front door and peaked in to see nothing but dust everywhere. She then closed the door and saw from the outside a counter, couches and plants then pocked her head inside again and saw the same, dust and nothing inside.

Ki then rolled her eyes at the girl and pushed pass her, “It’s the seal. It makes you humans see what they wish to see now we haven’t much time. I sense something dark and powerful in here.”,

Krystal smacked Lin’s head before following Ki in while Jessica shook her head at the girl and Tiffany giggled at her before taking her arm and pulling her in.

Ki prepared herself for what she and the others would face. She really wished that she had left them at Jessica’s dorm.

After walking up five flights of stairs, Ki walked through the hall until she stopped in front of two huge doors. Ki smirked when she saw the runes on the doors.

“What is it?” Jessica asked Ki and stood next to her but Ki did not answer.

Everyone then froze when they heard a scream except for Ki.

“Rin!” Lin screamed and pushed the door opened and froze when she saw her sister held by black mist.

“Hello Ki. Long time. Isn’t it.” A dark man smirked,

Ki walked up and stood in front of Lin and smirked back, “Long time Darkness. I see he managed to get you out of the pit you’ve been complaining about.” Ki then looked to her left and grinned at the shadow, “You’re father really has out done himself Kang Jun.”.

Jessica and Tiffany’s eyes widen when they heard Ki say their friends name and froze when they saw their friend coming out of the shadows with red eyes.

“I see the stories of what my father said was true. A girl bounded by the demon within her has come back to end all who did this to her.” Jun smiled at Ki,

Ki scoffed, “Brats like you need to learn when to not follow your fathers! That’s why you are a tree that cannot grow without another tree beside it.”

Jun shrugged, “Why lose this chance to gain power and life forever? My father finally found all the old notes and the vase of our family ancestor and tried to summon a demon but failed as you can see. I then figured out how to and had to drugged him to drive off into that petrol station cause I knew he would kill me if I told him how to summon and bound the demon to me.”,

Ki grinned at Jun then turned to Darkness, “And that is how you got free. Isn’t it Darkness?”,

Darkness grinned back and nodded, “It feels great to be out and do as I please. And also to challenge an old friend again. You were the only one he did not want in there because your soul and heart hold nothing in them.”,

Ki shrugged, “Living as a human without emotions has its up. I guess it’s a good thing too cause then I wouldn’t have met her.”,

“Ah! Your angel. I heard about her. Too sad. She was beautiful indeed.” Darkness smiled,

“Enough! Chain her!” Jun ordered and Darkness held his hands out and black chains bound Ki’s wrists and throw her to the wall.

Jun the smirked at Ki who was struggling against the chains, “You are not as strong as Darkness said you were. I guess Kira’s soul isn’t as good as mine.”,

Ki then grinned at Jun, “So you made a deal with a demon.”,

Jun smiled and nodded.

“Then I should guess that you have what you wish for and paid for it already.” Ki went on,

“Yes. I have.” Jun smiled wider,

Ki then burst out laughing, “You foolish boy! Do you know that you can never trust a demon? Unlike me the rest don’t hold their word unless there is something else they want but when they do have it...”

Jun’s eyes widen and turned around but it was too late cause Darkness had already plunged his hand into Jun’s chest and pulled out his soul and devoured it.

Jessica and Tiffany screamed at the sight while Lin pushed the girls back while keeping her eyes on the demon in front of her.

Darkness then grinned and looked at Ki, “You have no idea how long I’ve waited for you to come so that I may end that boy. He is just like that man who did this to you him and his father.”,

Darkness snapped his fingers and the chains on Ki and Rin disappeared.

“Rin!” Lin called out as she ran to her sister and held her up. Lin felt Rin’s cheeks and her eyes widen when she felt how cold Rin was.

“She’s cold!” Lin cried to Ki who kept solemn,

“Jun had her fuel his seals and runes. I kept it to the minimum as much as I can but he wanted to summon, Krept.” Darkness looked at Lin then back at Ki who growled,

“Krept can never be summoned here. He will end the world to gain power for war.” Ki glared at Darkness who nodded,

“That is why I tried to prolong it until you got here.” Darkness looked back at Rin who lay in Lin’s arms almost lifeless.

“Do something!” Lin yelled while Tiffany was wrapping her arms around Lin’s neck, crying.

Krystal covered as she wiped while Jessica held her in her arms.

Ki then showed a sadden expression, “I cannot. Without my body I cannot heal her without taking more of Kira’s soul. But at this rate if I do then Kira will ceases to exist.”,

“No!” Krystal screamed as she tried to go to Ki but Jessica held her back,

“I can save her but you must make a choice.” Darkness said and Lin looked at him, “I can take her to a place where she can be healed and her heart cured but in exchange she must remain with me for the rest of her life somewhere only she and I. I will not hurt her or do anything to cause harm to her. I will protect her and take care of her as long as she lives.”,

“And what of her soul when she dies?” Tiffany asked since Lin couldn’t,

“Her soul will be freed to go to heaven. I will not tie her down. Like Ki, I too wish to live here in peace.” Darkness smiled sadly,

Lin looked at Ki who nodded, “Darkness was the only one who I would call on for help when I just turned cause he was the only one like me who cared about the human race.”,

Lin then looked down to Rin saw her grasping for air while looking at her in pain, “Sis. Please.” Rin weakly pleaded,

“But you will never see us again!” Lin argued,

“I still have something I need to do. I promise I will come see you again when I’m better.” Rin tried to smile but could only weakly.

Lin cried then looked up to Darkness and glared at him, “Swear! Swear that you will heal and cure her! And that she will be safe and her soul too!”,

Darkness held his arm out and dug his nails into his arm making it bleed, black blood out, “I swear. If not Ki will end me. As she holds my line in her hands.”

Darkness then took out a black line and held it out to Ki who nodded and took it.

Ki then looked at Lin, “This is what you can say the heart of a demon. Without it we die.”,

Lin then nodded and Darkness slowly got down to one knee and took Rin in his arm as he held her like a bride. He got up and nodded to Ki who nodded back and disappeared into the shadows with Rin.

Lin then broken down crying in Tiffany’s arms as the girl held her closer and cried too.

Krystal too cried while Jessica held her and looked at Ki, “That was the shadow from the memory you showed me?”,

Ki nodded then closed her eyes and sighed. She then opened them and looked to see the drawings on the walls and runes on the ground.

Growling, Ki eyes shined and the building started to shake soon the roof came down and destroyed the runes on the ground and drawing on the wall.

‘If he is trying to invoke Krept then we are running out of time Kira. We need to find my body and quickly.’

‘Then find it.’

‘What about your soul?’

‘It doesn’t take much to just search. Once you find the way to your body you can stop using my soul to empower you.’

‘Sigh. I’m afraid to leave Jessica alone. Not to mention the rest now that they can be used against us.’

‘Let me talk to Lin.’

‘Can you handle it?’

‘If it’s just for five minutes.’

Ki nodded then sat on one of the rocks and closed her eyes.

Lin was still crying when she heard Kira’s voice, “Crying doesn’t suit you.”,

“Kira!” Lin looked up and stood up, “I thought you couldn’t come out yet!”,

“I can’t, that’s why I haven’t much time.” Kira smiled weakly,

“Kira!” Krystal said as she threw herself on Kira who wrapped her arms around the girl and smiled at her,

“Krystal. I’m sorry for Ki kissing Jessica.” Kira smiled apologetically,

Krystal shook her head, “It’s fine. It wasn’t you but Ki. But why are you out?”,

“I need to talk to Lin. Seriously.” Kira answered and looked at Lin,

Lin saw Kira’s serious look and nodded. She knew when Kira was serious she had to listen.

“Lin. You must take the girls away now. Take them there. It is the last place they will look for them.” Kira ordered,

“What?! Why?!” Lin’s eyes widen,

Kira huffed to catch her breath, “Cause if he summons that demon then it will mean an all out fight and I can’t fight and protect you all at the same time. I need to focus my soul on finding Ki’s body and after Ki and I can focus on stopping Krept’s summoning.”,

“Who is Krept?” Tiffany asked,

Kira ignored Tiffany and continued, “Do this. And I will find you all after it is over. Please..”,

Lin saw how tired and drain Kira was and nodded. She knew better than to go against Kira when she orders her to do something.

Krystal cried as she hold Kira more tightly, “Why can’t I stay with you?”,

Kira smiled at the girl, “Cause I can’t afford to lose you. Not now when I’m so close. I promise I will end this soon.”,

Krystal bit her lip then kissed Kira and locked their foreheads together, “You better keep your promise. I want my wedding.”,

Kira chuckled at the girl and nodded before closing her eyes.

When Kira opened her eyes Krystal saw that it wasn’t Kira’s red eyes anymore but Ki’s.

“Kira says sorry but her time it up. She has to rest now. Don’t worry, I won’t let Kira die and I will be there at your wedding whooping at you girls” Ki grinned and winked at Krystal who blushed and pushed out of Ki’s arms.

Ki laughed then looked at Tiffany and smiled, “Kira apologizes for not answering you but her time was limited. As to your question. Krept in one of the most powerful demons. And his sole purpose is to muster an army and have war with heaven. He can’t bring the whole scourge with him cause the angel’s made sure that no demons can come to earth. Not without help that is.”,

“If that is what Krept wishes to do then why is that man summoning him?” Jessica asked,

Ki sighed and looked down, “Cause Krept is the only one who can defeat me.”,

“What?!” Krystal was now confused,

“I am the demon of vengeance. I don’t need human souls to empower me but as long as humans desire revenge my powers are risen. It’s like a vampire who needs blood to empower themselves. Unlike the rest who need a certain... feeling to empower them. Krept doesn’t need those. Krept is one of the few like me who doesn’t need these emotions.” Ki explained,

“But how do you know Krept can defeat you?” Lin wondered,

“Cause Krept and I once fought. Krept can’t come to earth in his full form but he can enter for only an hour. When he did I happened to be there. He was enraged by my helping to the humans and we fought. Though I have defeated many of my kin before him, Krept was beyond my powers. I barely survived.” Ki glared into the air,

Ki then looked at the girls, “If that is how powerful Krept is in his mist form then I am no use against him in his full form. That is why Kira asked you to take the girls away. Krept is weak against an angels power and Kira holds bits of that power that keeps her soul alive.”,

Everyone’s eyes widen when they heard this and Ki smiled, “Kira was asked not to say a word of this and I didn’t wish to show it cause it was not mine to show. If Krept is summon it will take awhile before he can use his full power. That will give Kira the chance to push him back while I fight against him.”,

“Can’t Darkness help you?” Lin asked,

Ki shook his head, “Darkness is weak against Krept. If he is anywhere near him, Krept will devour him and use his new form as a vessel. It’s best to keep Darkness away from Krept.”,

“What about you? Won’t Krept devour you and keep your body as his?” Tiffany asked,

“No, he can’t. When I die and became this, I was still in my human body therefore I am a demon but I am also a human. My human body never fade because of my powers. Even now it is still as if I was alive. Krept can’t use my body because it will fade as soon as I do. Unlike Darkness who is in a human’s body.” Ki explained,

Lin nodded, “Okay. Then we all know what we have to do now.”,

Ki nodded, “You all must leave now while I remain here and look for my body. Once I find it I can find the one who did this to me. And maybe it won’t be too late.”.
