Sehun hopped into the front passenger seat only to find the 3 loudest members aka the beagle brothers in full force. As soon as he opened the car door, he was greeted with loud music while their designated driver, Baekhyun was chatting loudly with Jongdae and Chanyeol at the back. The rest of the members either have their own plans or chose to procrastinate at the dorm. These three, however, does not know how to sit still and would become restless within a few minutes of boredom. They invited everyone but he was the only one who agreed to go shopping. Of course, he wanted to stay home and talk to Mina all day but he doesn’t want to bother her more than he already did. He thought that since it’s her day off, she’d rather rest than be pestered. He took out his phone and unlocked the screen but was disappointed that there are no new messages. Maybe he could just send her one text. That wouldn’t be a bother right? Before he knew it, he started typing.

S: About to head out with hyungs. Enjoy your day! :)

“You’re in a good mood. Anything new with you?” Baekhyun suddenly spoke, startling him.

“Not really hyung, just the same old stuff.”

“If you say so.” Baekhyun replied with a smirk as he turned to the others at the back. “So, you guys wanna eat something first before we go shopping?” He asked before starting the car.

It was past lunch time so when they arrived at their agreed restaurant, it was almost empty, which was good since they wanted a little privacy for a change. While waiting for their food to arrive, the boys were discussing where to go next.

“I don’t wanna go to Myeongdong or Hongdae. It’s so crowded there.” Jongdae whined at the thought of being ambushed by fans if they get found out.

“We could go to a mall. There’s a Lotte mall near hear.” Chanyeol suggested.

“Or Apgujeong. It’s a weekday so I don’t think there will be a lot of people right now.”  Baekhyun suggesting the high end street they frequented whenever they go out. It was less crowded than the other shopping districts and it was the dead hour of a school/work day so the streets would almost be empty.

“I’m fine with whatever.” Sehun said nonchalantly as he stares at his phone, desperately waiting for a reply. When none came, all he could do was sulk.

As they settled on a decision, their food arrived. For a few minutes, the table grew quiet as the boys started to gobble down their meal. It was after Sehun took his last bite when he felt something vibrate in his pocket. He quickly took out his phone and looked at the older boys who were still busy eating before he opened the message.

M: I’m out with my unnies as well. Take care.~

He couldn’t help but smile at something so simple. 

S: Oh, take care too then. Have you eaten?

M: Yes just finished eating, we had marinated crabs. :) You?

S: We’re eating steak! :O

M: Oh that sounds yum. :) 

“Yah, loverboy! Let’s go! Hurry up or we’ll leave you here.” He looked up at Chanyeol who spoke and saw the three boys were already standing up ready to leave after paying the bill. He didn’t realize that they were already leaving since he was in his own world. Sehun scrambled to his feet to follow the others after he sent his last text.

S: About to head out again. Talk to you later?

M: Okay. :)

It was just small talk and Sehun knew she still has her guard up but he felt he was getting closer to her, even if it was only one little step at a time.

After bowls of raw marinated crabs, cups of rice and a whole array of side dishes, Mina and the girls slumped into their seats, with protruding tummies while happily chatting with each other, waiting for the bill. This was the best part of every rest day they have. They get to eat their hearts out and spend quality time together. It was a pity that the three youngest ones have school today.

“Are we going to watch a movie first or go to Apgujeong instead?” Nayeon asked after they settled their bill.

“Apgujeong?” Mina asked, the name being unfamiliar to her.

“Oh, that’s right! Mina hasn’t been there yet! Let’s go there first!” Jihyo exclaims.

There are a lot of places she hasn’t been to having spent only a little more than 2 years in Korea. Being a trainee for a short time then an idol soon after made her miss out on all the places she could have visited.  She smiles excitedly at her leader’s suggestion, making her look forward to their time there.

They went out of the restaurant and decided to split into 2 groups, assigning Mina with Momo and Jeongyeon. They hailed a cab and their group went on first promising to text the others where they were. The ride was short as their destination was near. Mina was eager to go around especially when she saw the streets being less populous than the usual shopping districts. She feels they could go around unmasked and no one would notice.

While waiting for the other girls their group decided on a store to visit. They spotted a huge hip place that has a whole collection of men and women’s clothing and accessories. When they entered the shop, they were greeted by the staff with the latest songs blasting through their speakers.

The three of them went straight to the sweaters and hoodies section. It was still the middle of winter but they wanted to look for casual clothes that they can wear for the less cold days. As they were looking through the racks, Jeongyeon spoke up.

“These are way too girly for me. Wanna go look at the men’s section? If they have something we like, we could get it at a smaller size.”

“Okay. But I wanna get this one!” Momo said holding up a pink sweater with baby blue and yellow flower patterns on it.

“That looks cute unnie.” Mina smiled at the older girl, knowing exactly how feminine Momo could get.

When they reached the other side of the store, Mina noticed 4 male figures looking through the shoes display. She couldn’t help but feel like she knew who they were, which was weird to her since she couldn’t even see their faces with their masks on.
