a fantasy-romance-myth fan fiction about Priestesses or Maidens beholder of powers of the Four Gods with their Celestial Warriors. Read brief prologue~~this is mainly Daragon couple but slight of Ririn. The pair-ups have nothing to do with the romance except for the DARAGON which is my main protagonists.

*** This story is inspired by the concept of an anime-manga series entitled FUSHIGI YUUGI: THE MYSTERIOUS PLAY written and illustrated by Yu Watase. If you are familiar with the series, you can probably relate but I’m warning you this is entirely different. I only used the concept of the Four Gods. Foreword
The Universe of Four Gods
Seiryu (or Qin Long or the Blue Dragon/Holy Dragon) is the God of the East controlling the spring season. In Feng Shui, it thought to be the embodiment of Wood in the Five Elements. In Chinese mythology, it represents the fearsome and powerful Dragon, nonetheless, it is considered just, benevolent, and bringer of prosperity and good fortune. It is considered as one of four insignia of royalty in China. The dragon is a symbol of authority.
Suzaku (or Zhu Que/Feng Huang or the Red Phoenix) is the God of the South controlling over the summer season. It is the incarnation of Fire element in Feng Shui. It represents the sacred bird with utmost beauty and grace in Chinese Mythology. One of four crest of royalty in China. The phoenix is the symbol of beauty associated with the Empress. The expression of Dragon and Phoenix means marital bliss for newlyweds.
Genbu (or Xuan Wu or Black Tortoise/Black Warrior) is the God of the North presiding over the winter season. It is the embodiment of Water Element among the Five Elements. It represents the union of the black turtle and snake. Its shell symbolizes the vault of the universe with holy attributes for purposes of the divination. The turtle is the symbol of longevity and wisdom with high ranking officials. Also, it is considered as one of four crest of royalty in China.
Byakko (or Bai Hu or the White Tiger/Jade Tiger) is the God of the West controlling over the autumn season. It is the incarnation of Metal element. It is portrayed as the king of all animals or lord of the mountains and the God of War. It is considered also as one of four emblems of royalty in China. The Tiger is the symbol of protector or preserver.
These four celestial animals do not have any relations with the twelve animals in the Chinese Zodiac. Rather, they are well-known as the Four Gods of Heaven and Earth, which are also the names of four divisions in the sky, the stars around the Earth divide into four quarters.
Each Four Gods has seven celestial warriors who will protect them.
JIYONG is the head of seven celestial warriors of Seiryuu.
DARA is the maiden priestess of Seiryuu.
What happens if they fell in love with each other?
TAEYANG is the head of seven celestial warriors of Suzako.
MINJI is the maiden priestess of Suzako.
Will he able to protect the reason why his great love was gone?
TOP is the head of seven celestial warriors of Genbu.
BOM is the maiden priestess of Genbu.
Can he sacrifice the person he loves the most for his duty?
SEUNGRI is the head of seven celestial warriors of Byakko.
CHAERIN is the maiden priestess of Byakko.
Will he able to protect the person he hates the most?
DAESUNG is the augur. Will he able to save the people important to him with his prediction? Or it will lead to destroy all of them?
BRIEF PROLOGUE
The Augur of the palace had predicted the incoming cataclysm. Only the priestesses of the Four Gods will be able to save them. However the four maidens are missing. The Emperor and the Empress beckoned the heads of the Celestial warriors’ oath to protect the Four Gods to a quest to search for the missing priestesses of the Four Gods.
Together, the celestial warriors of the four Gods travel across the world to find the missing priestesses. And that’s how the story begins…
