Giving the pool cover one last, sad glance, you turned to pry the bomb from Chanshik's foot. The struggle inside the water had gone silent. Without a doubt it was too late to save Junghwan.

"We need to go!" Chanshik begged as he took the bomb from you and threw it across the room. Both of you ducked out of the doorway and into the hall before the explosion. Pieces of plaster rained down from the ceiling and walls as a familiar voice cried out your name. The two of you stumbled, disoriented from the blast, into a back courtyard.

"D-Dongwoo?" You teared up, relieved to see him still alive and safe in the middle of the yard. You moved to run toward him but Chanshik stopped you.

"Think about this... Who did all this to our friends? Where has he been all night?" He half hissed his words as he glared down the man strolling toward the two of you.

"But he wouldn't..." You didn't want to admit that someone you had feelings for could be such a monster.

"But I did..." Dongwoo's smile was almost terrifying. Despite Chanshik's many injuries, he put himself between you and the murderer. Dongwoo stopped and put his hands up as though he was submitting to your boyfriend.

"What the is wrong with you?!" Chanshik screamed, his voice shaking in rage and pain. You knew he didn't stand a chance against the uninjured man.

"I fell in love." Dongwoo nodded toward you and you felt your heart drop. "But there were too many people in our way. I couldn't live knowing we were apart so I did the only thing I could do. I started eliminating anyone in our way." You hadn't realized how much you had meant to him. Certainly never thought he'd kill for you.

"Wait!" You shouted as Dongwoo pulled a gun out of his back pocket. Moving quickly, you put yourself between the two men.

"Babe, use this." Handing the knife to Chanshik, you headed for the pool cover where the sounds of struggle were getting weaker. Hitting the button to open the cover, you waited impatiently for it to roll back. Junghwan was soaking wet when he was revealed, bobbing out of the water to gasp for air.

"Jump!" You heard Chanshik scream behind you as a blast knocked you into the water. Junghwan and yourself took refuge under water as debris fell down around you. After a moment the two of you climbed out to a gruesome sight. Blood spackled everything, bits and pieces of the person you had loved more than anyone. A familiar voice cried out your name and the two of you stumbled, disoriented from the blast, into a back courtyard.

"D-Dongwoo?" You teared up, relieved to see him still alive and safe in the middle of the yard. You moved to run toward him but Junghwan stopped you.

"He's the one that shoved me into the pool and closed the cover." He half hissed his words as he glared down the man strolling toward the two of you.

"But he wouldn't..." You didn't want to admit that someone you had feelings for could be such a monster.

"But I did..." Dongwoo's smile was almost terrifying. You stared at him in disbelief, your heart pounding.

"Why?" You questioned him, your voice small and weak. You were surprised you could speak at all.

"Wait!" You shouted as Dongwoo pulls a gun out of his back pocket. Moving quickly, you put yourself between the two men.

"But I did..." Dongwoo's smile was almost terrifying. Despite Jinyoung's burns, he put himself between you and the murderer. Dongwoo stopped and put his hands up as though he was submitting to your best friend.

"Why would you kill them!?" He cried out, his voice strained from emotional torment and physical pain.

"Wait!" You shouted as Dongwoo pulled a gun out of his back pocket. Moving quickly, you put yourself between the two men.

Chapter 6: What an interesting experience, especially it being a combination of polar opposites horror and B1A4; thanks for writing all of this! Unfortunately, I ended up having to kill my bias CNU. ;__;
