Key was still asleep when Jonghyun got up to get ready for school. He was in his bathroom when he heard Key whimpering. 

 

Jonghyun went over to him. Key looked at him shaking. He woke up alone and got scared. 

 

Jonghyun frowned and pulled him into his arms. "I'm sorry, Key. I was getting ready for school." 

Key clung to him. 

Jonghyun cradled him. "Minho and I have school today. You'll be home with Taemin and my mom. Do you think you'll be okay?" 

 

Key nodded. 

Jonghyun smiled. "Okay." He cradled Key until he had to go. "Bye Key." 

Key gave him a big hug. "Bye..."

 

Jonghyun hugged back and kissed his forehead. "I'll be back soon." He let go then left. 

 

Taemin didn't want Minho to go. He clung to him tightly. 

Minho kissed his cheek. "You'll be okay." 

 

Key curled up into a ball. 

 

Taemin looked at Key and shook his head. "Don't go..." 

"I'm sorry Taemin. But I have too. I'll only be gone a few hours. Why don't you spend some time with Key? You can ask my mom if you need anything." 

 

Taemin frowned. "Okay..." 

Minho kissed his cheek again and left. 

Taemin frowned but went over to Key. He hugged him. 

Key hugged back. 

"Do you want to play with the nerf guns again?" Taemin asked. 

"Nerf guns?" Key asked confused. 

 

"Yeah. It's a toy gun Minho got for me." Taemin said. "It's really fun." 

"Okay," Key said. 

Taemin smiled and got them out. He told Key the rules and they started playing. 

Key ran around with him in the pack yard. They giggled and played. 

They played all day until Minho and Jonghyun got home. 

Hana came home with them. 

"Key! I'm home!" Jonghyun yelled from the back door. 

 

Taemin smiled and ran over to Minho. He hit his chest with a dart. 

Key started hitting Jonghyun with darts too. 

 

Minho ran after Taemin. 

Jonghyun chuckled and ran after Key.

 

Taemin giggled and screamed. "Run away!" 

Minho caught Taemin and started tickling him. 

 

Key tripped on a tree root and hit the ground hard. 

Jonghyun freaked out and ran over to him. "Key!" He picked him up. "Key?! Are you okay?" 

 

Taemin froze and watched Key, shaking. 

 

Key nodded. His knee and palm were bleeding. 

 

Jonghyun frowned. He carried him inside and washed his hands and knees. He put Band-Aids on them. 

Key pointed to the pink band aids. 

Jonghyun chuckled. He put on the pink ones. "Do you feel better?" 

Key nodded. 

 

Minho led Taemin inside. "He just got a little hurt. It's just a few scratches." 

 

Taemin frowned and went to Key. "You're okay?" 

Key nodded. He showed Taemin his pink Band-Aid smiling. 

 

"Pink isn't a guy color." Hana said, standing in the doorway. Key frowned and looked at his hands. 

"It's fine." Jonghyun said. "It's a cute color for a cute person." He said, smiling at Key. 

Key blushed. 

 

"Boys I'm going to the store. Oh Key are you okay?" Mrs. Choi asked as she came in. 

"Yeah. He just fell." Jonghyun said. "He's strong." 

"That's good. Anything you boys want?" Mrs. Choi asked. 

 

"Um...ice cream!" Taemin giggled. 

Key nodded. 

Taemin smiled. "Get chocolate and strawberry please." 

"Okay boys," She smiled and left. 

 

Minho put on a movie. "Let's just hang out for now."

 

Taemin cuddled with him on the couch. 

 

Jonghyun held Key and Hana close. 

Hana smiled. She whispered into his ear. "Do you want to have some fun since your mom's gone?"

 

"We can't. There's people here." Jonghyun whispered back. 

"We can be quiet." Hana smirked. 

Jonghyun chuckled. "Let's relax. I bet you're sore from yesterday." 

Hana pouted. She d him. "Come one~,"

Jonghyun bit his lips. "No baby. You're too loud when I deep into you." He teased. 

Hana blushed. "Please Oppa~" 

Jonghyun chuckled. "You're so needy." 

"That's because you're so y~"

 

"Not right now, Hana. I don't want to get caught." Jonghyun said. 

 

Hana pouted. 

 

Key pulled away from Jonghyun. He curled up into a ball. 

 

Jonghyun frowned. "Are you okay, Key? Are you in pain?" 

Key covered his ears. He was trembling. 

Jonghyun frowned. "Key?" He pulled him into his arms and cradled him. "You're okay, Key. Shhh. You're okay." 

Key started to thrash around and scream. 

Jonghyun freaked out. "Key! Calm down. You're okay!" 

 

Taemin started to freak out. He ran to Key and hugged him. "Hyung! You're okay! I'm here!" 

Key freaked out even more. He tried to pull away. 

Taemin pulled away and started crying. "Hyung!" 

 

Jonghyun called his mom. "Mom! Key’s having a panic attack! I can't calm him down. I don't know what triggered him!" 

"Okay. I'll be home as soon as I can. Just try to calm him." She said and hung up. 

 

Key was shaking and started throwing up. He soon passed out. 

Jonghyun frowned. "What triggered him? He was fine just a second ago..." 

 

Taemin wouldn't stop crying. 

Minho pulled Taemin close. 

Taemin clung to him. 

 

"I'm going to lay him down and lay down with him. I'm sorry, Hana." Jonghyun said, picking up Key gently. 

Hana nodded. She had never seen anyone act like that. 

 

"I'm going to take Taemin to lay down too." Minho said. 

Jonghyun nodded. "Hana, this is what he's like when he freaks out. Sometimes I can calm him down, but now you know why I get worried about him and want to be with him a lot. He needs my help." He said, then carried Key upstairs. 

 

Taemin clung to Minho, sniffling. 

Minho carried Taemin upstairs. 

Taemin wouldn't let Minho put him down. "Key...." 

"He's okay...." Minho said. 

"He freaked out again..." Taemin said. 

"I know... Does he do this a lot?"

"Only when things remind him of what our parents did to us..." Taemin said. 

"Oh..." 

"Something had to trigger him and remind him of what they did...but what? The movie wasn't scary or anything..." Taemin said. 

"I'm not sure..."

Taemin frowned. 

"We'll figure that out in the morning." 

Taemin nodded. "Okay..." He curled up to Minho. He was still worried about Key. 

Minho held him close.  He soon fell asleep. 

Taemin stayed awake all night. 

 

Jonghyun woke up and smiled at the sleeping Key. 

Key soon wake up and started panicking. 

Jonghyun frowned. He his back. "Key, you're okay. No one’s going to hurt you." 

Key slowly started calming down. 

Jonghyun continued. "You're okay and safe." 

Key clung to him and started sobbing. 

Jonghyun frowned. "Why are you crying? What's wrong?" 

"You... Hana... Reminded.... Of..." Key tried to say in between his sobs. 

Jonghyun frowned. "I'm sorry, Key." 

Key continued to sob. 

Jonghyun cradled him. 

Key cried until he tired himself out. 

Jonghyun kissed his forehead. "I won't let anyone hurt or touch you again. I'll protect you." 

Key leaned into the kiss. "Stay?"

Jonghyun frowned. "I have school..." 

"Don't leave me..." 

 

Jonghyun frowned. "Okay. I'll ask my mom if I can skip school." 

Key clung to him falling back to sleep. 

Jonghyun held him. 

Key was soon asleep again. 

Jonghyun continued to hold him. 

 

Taemin sat up and looked at the sleeping Minho. 

Minho soon woke up. He smiled at Taemin. 

Taemin smiled weakly back. 

Minho kissed his cheek. "Are you okay?"

Taemin nodded. "Yeah..." 

Minho got up and got dressed.

Taemin blushed and looked at his hands. "Do you have to go?" 

 

"I have school." Minho said. 

"But...I don't like it when you're gone." 

"I know." Minho sighed. 

Taemin frowned. "Can't you miss one day?" 

"I'll ask." Minho said and kissed his forehead. 

Taemin nodded. "Okay..." 

Minho left the room and came back. "I can. Jonghyun is staying home too." 

 

Taemin smiled. "Yay!" 

Minho smiled. 

Taemin giggled and kissed his cheek. He blushed. "I like kissing your cheek..." 

"I like kissing yours too." Minho smiled. 

Taemin blushed again. His heart started to beat quickly again. 

Minho noticed. "Taemin... Do you like me? Like... really like me?" 

Taemin blushed harder. "W-what?! No! I can't like you! We're both boys!" 

"So... I like you..." Minho said blushing. 

Taemin looked at him, shocked. "W-what?! Y-you do?" 

Minho nodded. He kissed Taemin gently. 

Taemin was shocked but he couldn't find himself to pull away. He kissed back, placing his hands on Minho's chest. 

Minho kissed deeper. 

Taemin blushed and wrapped his arms around Minho's neck. 

Minho pulled away. "I'll protect you forever because you're mine." 

 

Taemin blushed harder. "That was...my first kiss..." 

"Mine too."

Taemin smiled then frowned. "Minho...I'm only staying here for a few months or so...what will happen when I leave?" 

 

"We can stay together. I'll visit you all the time and we can go on dates." Minho said.  

 

Taemin blushed. "Dates?" 

Minho nodded. He pulled Taemin close. "Yeah, lots of dates."

 

Taemin smiled and curled into his arms. "I like the sound of that." He was actually nervous. He wasn't still used to being around other people. 

Minho held him close. "I'll protect you forever."

 

Taemin smiled and kissed him softly. "I know you will. You're my protector." 

 

Minho smiled. "I'll always be your protector." 

Taemin looked at Minho. "Thank you." He stared into Minho's eyed. 

Minho leaned in and kissed him again. 

Taemin kissed back. 

Minho pulled away. "Let's go eat." 

Taemin nodded. He got dressed and held Minho's hand down the stairs.
