“Can’t I like you? Let me explain it to you…” said Yoseob

“No, no… I don’t need that, Yoseob. We are stop right here” Ji Eun looked at the sign from crossing-street lamp. The green sign was going to be red soon

Quickly she crossed the street

“Lee Ji Eun!!!”

Ji Eun didn’t want to hear Yoseob’s explanation. Even didn’t try to look back

Knowing that Ji Eun didn’t wouldn’t hear him face-on-face, finally he pressed that number. The crucial one. Ji Eun’s mobile number that he got from Suzy before

He crossed the street with his mobile sticked on his right ear. Didn’t know that the GREEN sign has changed to the RED one

And that happened so fast. A car, a big one; drove by an old man, didn’t recognize him. What he thought is the 17 missed calls from his daughter; told him to go home soon. As fast as possible

And what he thought is actually not a guy that suddenly appear in front of his car, when the crossing-street lamp still early red

And that car crushed him badly

Crushed Yang Yoseob badly

“Ji Eun, here!!!” shouted Dongwoon in front of Emergency Surgery Room

Quickly she ran there “Dongwoon-ah, where’s he right now?” asked her as soon as she reached there

“Hyung is still inside. He’s … bad” sighed Dongwoon

“He… what’s wrong? Is he alright?” said Ji Eun trembling

“I can’t say that he’s alright. He isn’t alright right now…” said Dongwoon slowly “He kept calling your name on the way to surgery room. That’s why I called you, Ji Eun…”

It’s like there were pounds of heavy things dropped on Ji Eun’s shoulder. She fell on the floor

“Ji Eun-ah..! Are you alright?” said a voice. She looked at that voice. Gikwang

“I-I…” she trembled. Then looked at the others. There were not just Dongwoon and Gikwang, but also Yoseob’s mother and father, his big sister, and an old man; that must be the one that crushed him

Yoseob’s mother came and hugged Ji Eun “It’s alright, honey. It’s alright…” she comforted Ji Eun

Ji Eun couldn’t look straight at Yoseob’s mother. She was too afraid. Afraid that all the persons there put false on her. Afraid that Yoseob’s mother hat her; because actually she was the one that became the main antagonist here; that made Yoseob got an accident

Why I didn’t hear his explanation… It’s all my false

And her biggest afraid, afraid that something bad happen to Yoseob. Afraid that…. He will die

“Aunty… I’m—“

“Sssh… it’s okay, honey. I forgive you. Just pray something bad won’t happen to Yoseob” comforted her, again. Ji Eun looked at Yoseob’s mother. Her eyes were red. Her nose too

Ji Eun looked down. Closed her eyes. Pray the best for Yoseob

It has been like forever to Ji Eun, until doctor got out from the Surgery Room. All of them looked at him

He sighed “I can’t say that he’s safe right now. He lost lot of bloods and his liver has some problems. We need new stock of blood and liver for transplantation” he explained “Anyone here has B type blood? Relative in priority” he asked them

Mr. Yang; Yoseob’s father said slowly “Three of us are AB type. He’s the only one who B type”

“I- I also AB type” said the old man afraid

“Me! I’m B type!” offered Ji Eun “Take my blood as much as you need, Doctor”

“Okay, then. But maybe a person won’t enough. He has lost much blood. Anyone?”

“I’m A type and Gikwang is O type” sighed Dongwoon

“My daughter is B type! I will call her!” said that Old Man. Quickly he made a call

“Okay. Now Miss…?”

“Ji Eun. Lee Ji Eun”

“Okay, Ji Eun-ssi… please come this way to donate your blood. And we will check all of you now to know which liver that matches with his liver. So we can transplant his liver as fast as possible”

Quickly she finished her porridge, and also drank a warm milk near her

“Let’s go!” she got up from bed

When they got out from Blood Donation Room, they saw the Old Man with a girl. That girl looked as same age as them. She has finished her blood donate too

“Is she his daughter?” asked Ji Eun to Dongwoon

“Yeah”

Ji Eun looked at that girl continuously. The eye liner girl “Let’s go”

Dongwoon wanted to explain about that girl more, but he didn’t do that

There; Gikwang, Mr. Yang, Yoseob’s big sister, and Junhyung who just arrived have sat down. Waiting both Yoseob and his mother

His big sister looked at Ji Eun, and smiled “Sit here, Ji Eun...”

She took a place beside her “Thankyou, Eonnie...?”

“Hae Yeon. Hae Yeon Onnie” she smiled. And when she smiled, there were wrinkles on the point of her eyes, just like when Yoseob smiles

It made Ji Eun felt bitter. And an unexpected tear was falling from her eyes

“Ji-Ji Eun… what’s wrong?” she hugged Ji Eun

“Onnie… he- he will be alright, won’t he? Yoseob is weak Onnie. He will still life, won’t he?” she cried on Hae Yeon’s shoulder

Hae Yeon shed her tears “Yes, he will. If you pray for him, he will be safe” whispered Hae Yeon. Together they prayed for Yoseob

After several times, Ji Eun wiped her tears “Now you better informed your family. It has been night already. They must be searched for you”

“Ah… you’re right, Onnie…” she took her mobile. But Ji Eun became silent when she saw her mobile screen

There were 8 missed calls and 4 messages from Suzy. And 13 missed calls and 5 messages from Wooyoung. And 2 other missed calls from unknown number. Also a message from her mother

Ji Eun replied her mother’s message. Tell her about the accident and informed her that she will visit in hospital tonight

Looked at Suzy and Wooyoung’s messages, she sighed

“Guys, I’ll go with you! We need to pack some clothes!” joined Mr. Yang “Hae Yeon and Ji Eun will stay here. Is it okay, Ji Eun?”

Ji Eun nodded “It’s alright, uncle”

Around 10 pm, the surgery was done. Doctor placed them in different room

“Mrs. Kim will wake up soon. And after 2 days later she can re-charge. But Yang Yoseob-ssi will wake up next evening. He need to rest in hospital for several weeks” explained the doctor

The nurse suddenly came “Doctor! Mrs. Kim has just woken up!”

“Really? Then I’ll go there! Ji Eun, please watch over Yoseob” quickly Hae Yeon wne to Mrs. Kim’s room. The doctor and the nurse also followed

Ji Eun went to Yoseob’s room. There, he was still under the influence of drugs injection. Slowly, she sat beside him. His expression was peace. Calm and peace. Ji Eun smiled

She liked that expression best

I must hear your explanation later, right?

Clack! Someone entered that room. Gikwang

He smiled “I just pass by. I think this one will comfort him” he placed the guitar beside his bed “That was the guitar that Ji Eun used when they, Yoseob and Ji Eun; had classes in “Kwang Music Factory”

“Okay, then. I’ll come here tomorrow!” he closed the door

After several minutes, Ji Eun looked back at Yoseob. It seemed he start to feel the pain from surgery. “Omma… it’s hurt…” he sighed

Ji Eun tried to comfort him. She held his hand. But he still sighed

Ji Eun remembered Gikwang’s words and took the guitar. Then she started to play those melodies. The last one that they had practiced before. Ji Eun never got it right. But now she was getting those right

She shed her tears and started singing a song

And Yoseob went on his peace face again

Yang Yoseob, I’m sorry….

Okay.... so??? cliche, right? ahahahaha sorry if this one is cliche chapter.. I think many peoples love cliche scene, right? But I will make the next more reasonable :)
