Donghae POV

I lie awake on my bed, thinking about the present… “What should I buy her? She loves chocolate, but she’ll definitely eat it right after I give her… white roses? They will withered n she’ll throw them away… what is something that permanent? A teddy bear? She’s not a kid… couple rings?  Too cheesy… and I have no money for that…” I wore my jacket and took a walk outside… there were a few souvenir stalls on the roadside… I walked near the stalls to take a glance of the things to buy… then I reached at a stall which sold women’s accessories… I saw a beautiful locket… it was in a heart shape and we can put pictures inside the locket… “Fida lost her locket today, this can be…” I nodded to myself “ajumma… how much is this?” I asked the seller.
“6000won” she replied. I checked my wallet and thank God I had 10000won inside. I bought it and I go to photo printing shop. I printed my photo and her photo and went home after that.

At home, I cut our pictures into small heart shape to be fitted into the locket frames. I put her picture on one side of the locket and my picture on the other side of the locket. “This can be… I hope she like it!! She’ll bring my picture everywhere if she wears this… so; I’ll always in her heart!” I smiled “but isn’t it kinda cheesy? Ahh.. just for Fida…”

The next day, I planned to give Fida the locket while having lunch with her. At recess time, I ate lunch with her; I pulled out the locket I bought last night from my pocket. “Fida, I have something to give you” I said…
“huh? a present? What for? Today’s not my birthday” I replied
“erm… just for being my girlfriend…”
“What is that?” she asked. But suddenly I looked at her neck and I saw her locket hanging in her chain
“you found your locket?” I asked her
“hmm… my classmate found it under her table”
“owh…” I said and I was pondering a while
“oppa… are you ok?” she asked me
“n… ne”
“so, where’s my present?”
“erm… I forgot to bring it… sorry”
“aww… really? I can’t wait to see my first present my namchin will give me”
“erm… I bet you won
