Of Yodas and SquirrelsJeongyeon wasn’t as dense as she was made out to be. She just chose to ignore situations, instead of confronting them head on.
Case in point: Sana.
She knew that she had somehow angered or annoyed her co-member, but for the love of all things that are sacred, Jeongyeon couldn’t remember what she did to her. Whenever the two were near, Sana always made it a point to avoid her or to ignore her. This behavior has been going on for the past week, and it irked her to no end.
“Is Sana mad at me, or something?” she asked Nayeon one morning. The question surprised her though, because Jungyeon’s question was met with wide eyes and disbelief (“She’s mad at you?”).
“I wouldn’t know. She hasn’t said anything.”
“It seems like she has been avoiding me recently,” the taller girl mused out loud. She pondered over the things she had done recently that might have annoyed her co-member.
“Why don’t you ask her?”
“What? Are you crazy?”
“Um, no,” Nayeon looked at Jeongyeon quizzically, “It’s the most reasonable and obvious thing to do. Pabo.”
“But-but-“ Jeongyeon protested. She couldn’t do that! It would be too embarrassing! Her mind raced with multiple excuses of why she couldn’t talk to Sana when-
“If it bothers you that much, why don’t you ask Momo?” Nayeon said, referring to the closeness of what is known as the J-Trinity (the Japanese trio consisting of Sana, Momo, and Mina).
