MAMA~

It was the day before the big event and it’ll be full of stage and costume rehearsals, mic checks, sound checks and a whole lot of checks. It’s safe to say it will be one hell of a busy day for Nayeon and the girls. She should be low on energy right now having just arrived in Hong Kong but being the energizer bunny that she is, she just couldn’t sit still. She spent her spare time roaming around instead of resting, sometimes dragging along some of her members with her. She was with Momo at the moment. They are backstage at the waiting area for the performers and it was like a big playground for Nayeon. They were wandering around looking for familiar faces like Somi or the Got7 boys. As they were about to head back, she noticed some of the Exo members going their way. She suddenly became extremely self-conscious. Nayeon tugged on Momo’s arm and said “Hey Momo, let’s go around this way ne?” pointing to her right, hoping to avoid the approaching boys. “But unnieee, that’s such a long way back to our waiting room and I’m hungry.” Momo whined and pouted at her cutely while stomping her feet. She looked up when she heard someone chuckle. The boys were already in front of them and she saw Baekhyun grinning and eyeing Momo, amused at her adorable antics. Momo froze at the realization of who’s in front of them and hid behind her unnie. Both girls bowed and smiled at their seniors before one of them spoke up. “We watched you guys earlier and you did great at rehearsals, can’t wait for the actual stage.” It was Minseok and he was looking at her directly. She didn’t know what it was about him but her shyness overtook her. She felt her cheeks grow warm and she gently touched her face to confirm it. “Did you reaaaallly watch all of them hyung or was it only Nayeon?” Sehun smirked and teased their oldest member. “Aish!” Minseok turned red and playfully hit his shoulder gesturing him to be quiet. Nayeon felt her phone vibrate signaling them that it was time to go back. “We have to go back sunbaenim, see you again tomorrow.”  She stated looking at Minseok. He gazed at her intently before smiling which made her heart skip a bit. She always thought how cute his smile was. “Bye Nayeon-ssi!” She and Momo went on their way back feeling elated. They spent the rest of the day with a sudden burst of energy.  

The day of the big event was chaotic. They were all over the place. They were getting into their dresses, trying on different accessories, people fixing their hair and makeup, stylists double checking on the stage outfits and so on. The girls thought they could finally be able to breathe as they stepped into the red carpet when the sense adrenaline came through after they were greeted by hundreds of screaming fans and flashes from the cameras. After the red carpet event, all the artists were finally settled into their respective waiting areas and some groups are ushered to the sits designated for them to watch the show. Twice was to present the award for Best New Female Artist Award so they stayed behind a bit. Nayeon saw Exo heading to the stage to take their seats. Mins
