I wanted to dig a hole and bury myself.

My family had been expecting me.

Before tears brimmed my eyes, I ended the call. Breathe in, breathe out...I hastily tried to calm myself down. It was too late, I was already wailing my heart out. 365 days...I waited for 365 days. Not once had I visited home and this was a special day.

"Did Yeri lock the door?"

I could hear Seungwan unnie's muffled voice from outside. I quickly ran to the door and locked the door. I planned to stay there for a couple days. It wasn't like Joohyun unnie didn't have another bed to cosily sleep in. Besides, unnie stores a lot of water bottles under her bed and I could feast on my large stash of candy.

"Yeri..?"

My unnies frantic knocking could be heard. I gave no answer.

"Let's just give up...you know how stubborn she can be.."

I really gave up then.

Nothing's worse when someone you trust gives up on you.
