Chapter Four
Lost not GoneChangmin thought that he already cry enough. His hearts definitely feels exhausted already. He sobs and he sobs more. Causing not only his face to be wet, but also Yunho’s.
It’s been forty six second...
But Yunho...
Didn’t show any sign of inhaling air anymore.
Changmin squeezed Yunho’s shirt tightly. Embraced Yunho’s body that is now feels as light as feather.
There were no longer any voices to be heard. No more secrets to be spilled.
Changmin screamed on Yunho’s name. Reaching for Yunho’s soft already-turned-white hair. Kissing the peak of Yunho’s head.
But, there weren’t any respond anymore.
No more painful groans can be heard echoing on the room.
No more warm tears escaping from Yunho’s eyes...
There was Yunho... no more...
Changmin choked in between his tears. Inhaling and exhaling air furiously.
His body was shaking hard. His lips trembling as he sobs. His hands still holding Yunho’s tightly.
Time passed.
The dark night has now turned into morning air.
The sun shyly seeping through the curtain. Changing it colors from dark to white. Shadows of bushes, tree’s branches, leaves, and birds could be seen.
Back then, behind those curtain, if Changmin opened it, a warm figure would be seen across.
Coming out from his home, wearing a white formal sleek suit. Smiling to all the passerby nearby, noticed Changmin, and greeted him with a warm smile.
Before Changmin quickly shut the curtain close and hides as he blushed hard.
But there won’t be... Yunho no more.
Changmin slowly laying Yunho down on his sofa. Carefully putting him, as Changmin afraid that any wrong moves and the already broken Yunho will break even more.
Yunho... for once... at last seems to be in peace.
If other people were to see him, they would just thinking that Yunho was just sleeping.
Still in b tears, Changmin carefully patting Yunho head, just like he’s lulling a child to sleep.
Changmin then, softly, kissed Yunho’s forehead.
Slowly trailing down to Yunho’s left eyes... then right eyes.
Caressing it down to Yunho’s nose.
Before, finally, softly kissing Yunho’s lips.
There were no longer painful agony to be heard when Changmin did so.
Changmin took as long as he could to savors Yunho’s soft cold lips. The color has slowly faded from rose pink to blueish white as Yunho took his last breath.
Changmin still can’t remember anything. Not knowing if Yunho was telling him the truth that Changmin was an actual guardian angel.
Not knowing if they actually ever have a band together.
Not even knowing the detail of their past love life.
And when Changmin is ready to love him, probably for the second time, Yunho just had to decide by himself that Changmin doesn’t deserve his love.
Leaving Changmin in a much lonelier world, the one that isn’t even his own to begin with, if Yunho did telling Changmin the truth.
Leaving Changmin with only a single truth that Changmin know for sure, but not giving Changmin time to prove it. Not even letting Changmin replying Yunho sudden confession.
Not letting Changmin telling Yunho, that Changmin, love Yunho too.
For the eternity.
