Chapter 4 – does she felt it too?
2012
Due to Kim Jongdae's twisted personality, there were two things he was really good at besides singing. Comforting and trolling others. This time he really enjoyed messing with Baekhyun. No wonder why they - Chen, Baek and Chanyeol - got the beagle-line nickname. They were the moodmakers, the ones who made fun of the other members but they were really good friends. However, times like this Baekhyun really regretted that he couldn't physically hurt Jongdae. Like right now when he was running around in their dorm yelling:
“Baekhyunnie has a crush on Taeyeon sunbaenim.”
The older singer swore and chased after him.
He immediately wanted to shallow back his words once they were out in the presence of his friend. He didn't say anything concrete or such thing. He just said that he really liked and respected their sunbae. Although, it was true that after meeting her, even he questioned where his loyalty stood.
“Is it new? He idolized her for a long time,” Jongin looked amused but a bit confused. They came from room to room and now they were in the living room with the delicate dancer, EXO K’s other main vocal and the sleeping Minseok. If Baekhyun would have time for it, he surely would have wondered how could he do that in this noise. But right now, all he wanted was to make Jongdae shut up and thank Jongin for his attitude. Unfortunately, Chen was too fast and lucky as he maneuvered between the furniture pieces so he couldn’t catch him.
“But this time it’s real. He’s in loooove,” Jongdae singsonged happily and his strong, exotic voice filled up the place so everyone could hear him. Therefore, Baekhyun really hated him but not because of jealousy – only partly.
Both of them were great singers. They became friends soon after they joined the company because they came in almost at the same time. They had lots of similar vocal lessons but they didn’t think they would end up in the same band.
“I’m going to kill you,” Baek chased after him in fury and the dorm was filled with laughter once again.
