Title: Rubber Ducks

Summary: Somi refused to let Chungha touch her in the bathtub. After all, they couldn't taint the rubber ducks' innocence.

A/N: The one shot is a little short (sadly) but I still like it, bc rubber ducks. Next will probably be the pre/sequel (if it can be considered this) to Pink Lips and then, more Hogwarts!AUs I guess? Haha ^^' If you guys want a specific couple or something you can always ask.

Rubber Ducks

The apartment was empty when Chungha came home she realized with a sigh. Dating a college student could be really lonely at times, especially in the afternoon. Most of Somi's classes were afternoon classes, while Chungha worked mostly during the mornings.

Sometimes she also worked during the afternoon and could thus enjoy her mornings lying next to her girlfriend and snuggling up to her, but those times were rare.

After casting a brief glance at the clock, she decided that it wasn't too late to grab a bite and consider it part of her lunch. Once she had finished her lunch addition, she disappeared into the living room and plopped down on her couch with her cell phone, a headset, some papers and a pen. She worked full time as dance teacher/choreographer. The agency she had signed let her work part time at the company and part time at home. Her dance lessons were held in the mornings, while she came up with new choreographies at home. An arrangement she was incredibly thankful for. Her current task was to come up with a choreography for a debuting girl group, going with a 'fierce' concept. Many of her colleagues thought of choreographing as too time consuming and annoying, but Chungha just thoroughly enjoyed it. It let her fully live out her creativity and she often lost herself in the dance.

It was also thanks to choreographing that she met her girlfriend, Jeon Somi, acting major at Seoul University of Performing Arts. A friend of hers, Im Nayoung, teacher at said University, had asked her to choreograph a few dances for the school's summer festival. Somi ended up being in one of the dance groups she had choreographed for.

Both of them had instantly clicked, talking to each other was as easy as if they had known each other for years. The fact that they both spoke English was probably related to that a lot as they would often find each other gossiping about random people.

"You're still working, huh?" A pair of hands cupped Chungha's cheeks and made her look up from her paper now filled with notes and small doodles. Chungha's lips turned upwards at the sight of her girlfriend.

"Somi." She said happily, sliding her headset off her ears. She had missed the taller girl. "I didn't even notice you coming home."

"I noticed." Somi chuckled, then pointed to the papers on Chungha's lap. "You seemed quite engrossed in your work." She took the papers and the pen, placed them on the couch next to Chungha and then pulled the older girl up by her collar, their lips molding together in a soft kiss.

"I missed you…" Chungha mumbled softly, resting her forehead against Somi's shoulder after parting from their kiss.

"Well I'm here now."

Chungha just nodded against the college student's shoulder, then laced her arms around Somi's neck and hugged her tightly for a few seconds. "Let's get something to eat, alright?"

After looking through the fridge, they settled for ordering from the Chinese takeout a few blocks down the street. Half an hour later, the girls got their fast food and settled in front of the TV, comfortably eating while telling each other about their day. Somi's day included a lot of Dani, much to Chungha's dismay. Dani and Somi were close friends, she had already noticed this when she first taught them the choreography, the two English speakers of the group would always hang out together. They were only best friends, Somi had reassured her more than once, but still, she couldn't help but feel jealous at how animated and happy Somi was when she talked about the girl.

"That's great." Chungha commented with a forced smile, not looking up to meet Somi's gaze, instead she focused on the meat in her plate. Somi seemed rather oblivious to Chungha's sudden mood change and simply continued their conversation.

"How was your day at work?"

Chungha just shrugged. It was the same as most of the days. Her colleagues and her fooling around during the breaks, working their asses of the rest of the time and Nayoung picking her up at noon to go eat lunch together.

"Same as always."

Somi looked at her girlfriend curiously. "What's wrong?" Usually Chungha would delve a little more into the details, she'd only ever cut their conversations short if something was bothering her

"Nothing. Should there be anything wrong?"

"No."

"Then let's continue to eat before it gets cold."

"Sure." Somi had to bite back the smirk threatening to break out when she heard the faked nonchalant voice Chungha had used. "Let's finish this and clean up."

They ate the rest of their dinner in silence, the situation somewhat amusing Somi. When Chungha was done washing her hands after putting their boxes in the trash, Somi grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into a hug.

"You're jealous." She stated, resting her hands on Chungha's hips, as she looked at her lover with a playful smile. Chungha didn't answer, instead she looked at Somi for a few seconds before she scoffed and averted her gaze. "Yep, totally jealous."

"Whatever, let go of me, I need to wash up."

Somi puckered her lips. "How about we take a bath together?"

"No." Came the clipped answer and Somi slowly felt herself getting annoyed.

"Chungha." She said slowly, cupping her girlfriend's cheeks a little more forcefully than intended. "Stop it. You have no reason to be jealous, I told you before Dani and I are friends. Just friends. Nothing more." Chungha nodded and closed her eyes with a sigh. She felt a little stupid for getting this jealous easily.

"I'm sorry…" She whispered, gaze glued to the floor.

Somi let a smile grace her lips, then bent down to capture Chungha's with her own. It was a sweet, innocent kiss, but it still left both of them wanting more after they parted.

"Good. Now let's take that bath, okay?"

Chungha's eyes widened in surprise when she entered the bathroom. In front her was Somi, sitting in the bathtub and with her, about twenty rubber ducks.

"I'm too old for rubber ducks." Chungha sighed, towels and clothes discarded at the side on the floor.

"You're twenty four."

Chungha opened her eyes. "Exactly what I said. Too old for rubber ducks."

"No one is too old for rubber ducks."

Chungha just rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say. Now make some space."

Somi scooted to one side and let Chungha join her. They gave each other a cheeky grin as Chungha leaned back into the comfort of the hot water and Somi started playing with the rubber ducks. Time passed slowly and soon Chungha found herself staring at her lover in boredom. It amazed her little that Somi could play with rubber ducks for such a long time and not get bored. Actually, it amazed her that Somi found rubber ducks entertaining.

"Baby~" She called, effectively getting Somi's attention. Slowly she crawled (as far as it was possible in a bathtub) over to Somi, laced her arms around the girl's neck and pressed their bodies together. "I want you." She purred, peppering soft kisses all along Somi's collarbone.

Somi sighed and slowly, almost reluctantly, pushed Chungha away. "Chungha we can't do that here... The rubber ducks are still innocent..."

Chungha stared at her blankly, before sighing. "Are you sure you're twenty?"

Somi opened in disbelief, then closed it again when no words seemed to come out. She repeated the process a few times, until she finally managed to utter 'excuse me?'. Chungha shook her head. "No, tell me what you're implying."

"Nothing."

Somi groaned and bit Chungha's shoulder to vent off her frustration. "That's your punishment for making fun of me." She pouted, pointing at the small bruise on the dancer's shoulder.

Chungha glared at her. "Child."

Somi looked at Chungha who was snuggled up into the blankets and pillows in their bed, already curled up in her sleeping position. A happy smile graced her lips at the sight. Feeling a little bad for rejecting her girlfriend earlier (especially because she had made her jealous), she decided to make it up to her. Carefully she pulled the blanket off Chungha's form (which earned her an unpleased groan and a glare) and straddled her waist, noticing how Chungha's night shirt had ridden up a little after she had turned around and now exposed a part of her flawless skin.

"Chungha, baby." Somi whispered, her hand trailing down the girls taut belly, who hummed in response. She leaned in for a slow, comfortable kiss, but before she could deepen it, Chungha pushed her back.

"Babe." She whined, leaving Somi a little perplexed. "We can't do this here…" Somi gave her a confused look, tilting her head to the side, while Chungha remained mum and instead pointed to the side, where a rubber duck was sitting on the mattress.

"Are you…" Somi started, but instantly broke off. She shook her head and looked at Chungha with a look of incredibility. The girl just gave her an innocent smile in return.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to taint its innocence…" She said with a pout, then gave Somi a coy smile.

Somi smirked once she realized what her girlfriend was doing. "Well then I guess we'll have to do this under the covers." She winked at Chungha, grabbed the blanket and pulled it above them, before she latched her lips onto Chungha's again.

"Be sure to stay quiet." She hissed, their lips still latched onto each other's. "We don't want to wake him up, do we?"
