She finally broke. She finally crumbled. She finally decided to end it all. Her calmness frightened her. Her lack of feelings frightened her. Death didn't frighten her.

But then she thought. She really thought. And when she thought hard enough, she was unsatisfied. She didn't want to merely die. She didn't want to just disappear physically and emotionally. She wanted to die, but when she did die, she wanted them to feel something. Anything.
