“ Kyungsoo! are you ready ? your going to be late for school!” Minseok called his son while making breakfast for two, he's all dressed up for his morning job 

“ im coming, just give me a sec “ The younger called out from his room 

Minseok was mixing the scrambled eggs with sausages on the pan “ okay , just hurry up “  he hears the foot steps of his 8 year old son making his way to the kitchen and sitting at the small table.

“ here you go “ Minseok puts down the plate on the table “ now eat up or your going to be late “ 

Kyungsoo begins to eat faster than ever “ be careful, your gonna choke “ Minseok giggled at his adorable son. “ nae~” Minseok looked at his sons messy hair so he began to fix it from going up and down 

“ kyungsoo .. isn't it a bit too hot for long sleeves ?” mines questioned his son “ no … it quite cold in  the classrooms these day “ Kyungsoo says while finishing up his breakfast.

“ i think the bus is outside appa “ kyungsoo checks out of the window of their small apartment to see the yellow bus just arrived. kyungsoo ran to the door and put his shoes on and held on to the straps of his backpack.

“ Bye appa , dont forget to come after school for the parent teacher meeting !“ Kyungsoo screamed before he left and shut the door

Minseok smiled at his precious son, “ i gotta get to work “ he mumbles .

Minseok usually takes the bus or subway to work, since the pay isn't much he has to work 2 jobs , one is a chef at a bakery and the other is an mahua author’s assistant . the bakery is his morning job as for his other job starts at 4:30 pm to 8 pm.

Time passes as it already time to go to kyungsoo’s school, Luckily kyungsoo goes to a slightly expensive school , but minseok couldn't afford such a high price so his parent decided to pay for their grandsons education even though they hardly met kyungsoo. 

Minseok walk into the school looking for his sons class room , he finally sees ‘ 2-B ’ and enters the class he sees kyungsoo in the corner reading a book about dinosaurs. Mines realises that there were not many student left in the class , they must have all gone home after their turn with the teacher.

minseok walked towards his son, the younger looked up with a big smile “ watch reading there ? “ Minseok asked.

“ it a book about all the dinosaurs ! look appa this is a T-Rex “ he pointed at the book 

he bent down to his sons height “ woow , doesn't he look scary “

“ im not scared of anything “

“ waaah really ? my kyungsoo is so brave “ Minseok said while squishing his sons pink cheeks 

“ appa~ it hurts “

“ haha sorry “ 

“ Mr.Kim ?” Minseok got up and greeted the teacher “ oh hello , its nice to meet you Mr.Park “

“ its nice too meet you too , shall we have a seat and talk about kyungsoo “

“ oh yes of course “ Minseok sat at next to the teacher desk and began to talk .

“ Kyungsoo is a very polite and very shy student as well , he doesn't participate a lot in class but his grades are quite good , he's a very good reader and writer but has a bit difficulty with maths “

“ ah i see, maybe we’ll have to do some maths practice at home “

“ yes hopefully that will help him improve but… there another thing I'm more worried about”

Minseok smile dropped 

“ Kyungsoo doesn't really have any… friends , he's always sitting in that corner reading by the books , i just want him to be a bit social with his class mates “

“ ohh i didn't know that, ill talk to him about it “ Minseok was sad that he didn't know this , he always thought kyungsoo had one or two friends 

“ anyway thank you for taking the time to come all the way here, i know your quite busy with your jobs “

“ its fine, my job starts in another hour, it was the perfect timing “

Minseok and Kyungsoo holding hands as they walked out of the school and walked toward the bus, Kyungsoo runs inside the empty bus and sits at the back seat by the window, Kyungsoo pats the seat next to him and calls out ‘appa’ . His appa seats right next to him and holds onto the younger’s hand, Kyungsoo begins to talk about his day at school but Minseok wanted to talk about Kyungsoo’s shyness at school.

“ ..and after that book i read the first book of harry potter! appa did you read harry potter before ?” Kyungsoo asked with excitement

Minseok looked at his son with a smile , Minseok is a huge fan of harry potter but he only watched the movies as he wasn't much of a book person. “ I've watch the movie “

kyungsoo gasped “ there’s a movie ?! “ Minseok giggled at Kyungsoo’s face expression , his mouth was slightly open and eyes wide with a spark .

“ appa, can i watch the movie ?” Kyungsoo asked with pleading eyes 

“ of course you can but not today because its a school night , we can watch it together on Friday Uncle Lay , how about that ?” 

His son’s small body jumps on to his fathers and hugs him tightly “ thank you appa “ and slowly lets  go of him to give his appa a kiss on the cheek and Minseok returns him with multiple kisses all over   kyungsoo’s small face.

‘Im happy as long as Kyungsoo is happy , maybe ill talk to him about school another time’
